This is my device - an unlocked T-Mobile G1 :
DREAM PVT 32B ENG S-OFF
HDBOOT-1.33.2005 (DREA10000)
CPLD-4
RADIO-2.22.19.26I
ramon_RA recovery 1.7.
I'm rolling SuperD and everything is okay, but I want to make use of the 14MB ram hack with newest radios for another Froyo adventure ;-) . Problem is I'm from South East Asia where operators using 2100MHz frequency band for UMTS. From what I see here users of 2.22.27.08 and 28.25 all seem are in North America - where I known for a fact doesn't use 2100 band. So I want to know if I can use 3G/HSDPA with 2708/2825 in my country? Thanks you.

The radio firmware doesn't determine the frequencies it works on ... the radio hardware does. Meaning if your phone uses those frequencies now it will with the upgraded radio.
Thank you very much ezterry, I'm digging your AOSP 2.2 thread already .

Hi,
Could someone please post their Telstra radio rom? I would like to see if I could flash my UK HTC Touch HD and see if that will enable 3g here in the US
Thanks
Sure.
Download 1.10.25.25 / 52.57.25.30U from the following thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=466274
Because that is all the Telstra Devices have on them.
it wont work dont need to try.
marktang, do you know why it wont' work? Is it a hardware issue? Or additional firmware is needed?
It is a hardware limitation. There are no 850/1900 MHz WCDMA amplifiers in european Touch HD.
i dont know what it is but people have tried already. you are not the first one to ask for that ROM.
i wouldn't risk it... it hasn't worked.
Telstra Rom
Hope this works first time useing rapid

Telstra Radio ROM
Hi, you can only upgrade to Telstra Radio ROM (1.10.25.25)(Down load from link in WIKI). I have up-graded Rom 1.56.405.1 (Latest version). The Telstra reception was very poor and I missed calls in side buildings.
After down-grade the Radio ROM to Telstra Radio ROM (1.10.25.25). The Telstra reception is better. I think is safer to upgrade/downgrade the Radio ROM only. You less likely to brick you phone. It appears that it only support 2G and 3G, but not nextG. You don't need nextG in major cities. If you used your phone for Internet Sharing you get 3.2 MB/S instead of 7.2 MB/S.
I have a telstra t8285 here in the US. I have upgraded it to the latest 1.14.25.24 radio and it works fine.
Hiya I got a question bout the PVT board of the G1.
In the Sapphire dev section the are ROMS for 32B will these also work on the G1 or are the for just for Sapphire 32B.
Thanks in advance for answer.
FYI - I've done a search on the forum
32b has the same amount of ram as the g1, but you will have to be more specific on what rom they are using
I want to try the eViL Hero on my G1.
It's in the Sapphire dev Forum and I have a G1 (Dream 32B)
In the post it says for PVT 32B, does that mean it will work on Dream PVT 32B ?
Hi All,
I Have bought an AT&T HD7 with specs below:
Model: HTC HD7 T9295
Carrier: AT&T
Software: Windows phone 7.5
OS version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.40505.502
Hardware revision number: 0002
Radio software version: 5.69.09.29a_22.50.50.21H
Radio hardware version: A.24.0.D4
Bootloader version: 4.5.2250.0(129185)
I succeed in running internet, but only Edge not 3G. wit official ROM
I have then patched with "RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE"
It just added european languages but still can't have 3G running.
Any help (or explanation) will be much appreciated.
read... read... read and search
the att uses 1900MHz for 3G, while in the rest of the world (including Europe) use 2100MHz, so your problem is a Hardware problem, there is no way you can run 3G in Europe or anywhere outside the US (well, not anywhere, but a very little part of the world)

Hi all!
Is it possible to flash radio from another version of HTC One ?
I've the 801n with LTE support BUT my operator use 1800Mhz frequency…
The 801n version have 750, 1700, 1900 or 2100Mhz frequency…
Only the 801s version have 800, 1800 or 2600Mhz…
Can I flash radio from 801s or is not possible ?
Thanks
Flash radio firmware, yes. Flash radio to open new bands, no as far as I know

Hey fellow enthusiasts!
I've got an ATT HTC One M7_UL and the problem with this is, I am in europe so some of the netwrok bands don't work.
The question is, can I flash WWE radio so that the frequencies will be enabled or it simply won't matter because this is hardware limited?
Currnetly I am on 4T.35 radio, hboot 1.61, RR 7.1.2 ROM, S-ON.
If I can flash the WWE radio, do I need to use exactly the same version 4A.35(didn't find one yet) or can I flash older one like 4A.25(which I did find)?
Thanks for your advice and have a nice day,

4T.35.3218.16 radio is what the WWE version is running so you already have the WWE radio on your phone. AT&T radio is 4M.35.3218.16
So it's most likely not a radio problem, maybe your carrier is using bands that are not compatible.
Supported bands are listed here: http://www.htc.com/us/smartphones/htc-one-m7/

Sooo... the question now is: what exactly are the bands enabled on WWE? I am looking for 1800MHz for 4G and 1900MHz for 3G. Is it possible to get this with my hardware and radio configuration? Could it be a ROM problem?
Thanks for your help anyway

3G - UMTS/ HSPA:
Europe/ Middle East/ Africa: 900/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps
AT&T: 850/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps
4G - LTE:
Europe/ Middle East/ Africa: 800/1800/2600 MHz
AT&T: 700 MHz and AWS band
Both the AT&T and European variants (MID PN0712000 and PN0711000) are the same exact phones with the same hardware (Product code M7_UL), only the software/firmware is different. Have you tried a full conversion from at&t to wwe (i.e using a RUU) ?
Just in case, your APN is correctly configured for your carrier?

Didn't do anything with RUUs, straight out of box FW, unlocked bootloader, flashed recovery, ResurrectionRemix, setup APN, checked APN many times(connects to 2G so should be allrgiht) . Anyways, no LTE and also no hostcard emulation got me pretty upset and as M7 was supposed to be only a backup phone for a while, I got myself the new Galaxy A8. Still would be nice to get the M7 straight so I can use it with no restrictions if my clumsy hands drop this A8 I will try to flash latest WWE RUU druing weekend and let you know.
Your help is much appreciated, thank you very much, kind sir.
