Launcher Pro problem - Captivate Themes and Apps

I changed the number of screens and when Launcher Pro reloaded it was only using about half of my screen to fit icons onto. I tried going back to the default three screens, but that didn't fix it.
My widgets widths are shrunk and there is no spacing between shortcuts. I can move the shortcuts into the blank area, but the widgets don't resize when I do that.
I've restarted Launcher Pro and have tried re-booting.
``````````````````
The number of columns somehow got change to 6.
When that happens to me, I just increase size to max screens/rows/columns, then move everything near the top center. Switching back from there seems to help, if that makes sense.
Launcher Pro has options to change the number of rows and columns available on the desktop screens (i.e- adding more rows/columns means you can add more shortcuts or widgets onto a single screen). You may have inadvertently changed this setting when changing the number of home screens.
Dwang 1.11 Tray Icons per Row
As usual I get drowned out in the main thread...
So I shall ask where questions are meant to be asked...
Do the change icons per row for the app tray options in the launcher settings work?
I want to change them to 4 icons per row so it looks a little less cluttered and hopefully the app tray will also run a tad smoother too
bump
Dwang 1.12 still not working
Does that ROM include the 'Advanced Launcher'? If so press menu on the homescreen, more, try both options, one will let you choose the number of rows in the tray. You may need to kill the launcher.
On the home screen I press Menu
Then I select Extended
Then I select Home Screen and Scroll down
Then I change Tray Launcher Columns Count (port) from 5 to 4
Then I press home
I then get a blank home screen, I assume the Launcher is reloading
Once the home screen is loaded
I open the applucation tray and still get 5 rows (portrait mode of course)
I am using the black theme for Dwang 1.12
[Q] problems with Launcher pro/ adding widgets
ok so im having problems adding new widgets to my home screen on launcher pro+ for example facebook widget, when i long press on a blank home screen it simply tells me that there is no more room on this screen. Now i have gone from 3 to 7 homescreens to make sure that I had blank screens. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.!
There's a possibility that there's a widget added somewhere on the screen but its invisible, i had that glitch happen to me before. Try grabbing it and throwing it in the garbage, usually its in the top/left corner of the screen. Or goto lp settings>home screen settings and increase the rows/columns of your grid, then you should be able to add the 4x4 facebook widget.
well i tried your advice except when i adjust those settings my aps and widgets seem to pile on top of eachother, what would be and ideal setup for the rows and columns?
try deleting all screens than adding new ones.. if not just reinstall
[Q] Displaying more icons on the home screen
I am not familiar with the HOME of Android OS.
Currently using Panda Home for my Gtab but also tried couple of other HOME app.(forgot names..) but none of them.. seems like not let me display many icons on the screen. I mean, I see the big gap between icons..
Is there any app to let me put more icons on Pandahome? or Do I need to use some specific HOME app to do that?
let me know...
Both adw launcher and launcher pro allow you to set the number of rows and columns on the screen. I prefer adw .
He is correct, adw or launcher pro are the flavors of choice around here. Personally I use Launcher pro. In the advanced setting you can set how many rows, columns, and icons to allow.
Thanks!
I see.. its relying on HOME APP.. I guess, I did not tried those two yet.
I will try it out.
thanks all!
[Q] Size of pic required for adding apps to Golauncher
Hi, Ive only just stumbled upon Golauncher and editing my Desire HD.
Ive tried to create my own pics to add as a icon on my phone... I have looked at the different threads and dont know where to post this so here goes....
I am using Golauncher and desktop visualiser but when i add a pic to launch the icon i cant get the pics to fit the size of the space... i have tried editing them, making them larger, wider etc but cant get it right; i also tried resizing them with go launcher itself but the border doesnt fit tight to the pic. I have icons on my home screen but there are large gaps between them.
I need pixel sizes for all the different variations e.g 1x1, 2x1 etc
Any advice on what im doing wrong??
Thanks
I can't help with go launcher, sorry know not very helpful to original question, but I find desktop visualizer is ideal for this job. You can add an shortcut icon of any grid pattern size will add a box initially, just take a screen shot and edit on computer to match sizes exactly for your chosen grid pattern. It also resizes icons well to fit in anywhere, Im using it on launcher pro for a 7x7 grid cause standard icons always get cropped due to small space.
How to use different grid sizes at the same time (4x4 on home and 5x5 on next screen)
I'm on a Samsung Note 5 and I've been trying to make my widgets more readable by having them on a 4x4 grid sized screen, but I really like the room that I get for my app icons on the 5x5 screens. Is there any way that I can have both going on at the same time?
I'm rooted and on BreakDown's DPD1 v2.1 rom. I've got Xposed and have tried many different apps from the Play Store, Xposed, etc. I've also tried apps that change the DPI setting of my apps, and they do help with my widgets, but they ruin the app when I open them. For example, I can't reach the "Delete" button in Evernote because the DPI settings have made it sink under the screen. It makes the widget just the right size though. No 3rd party launcher seems to be able to do what I want either. I thought Zen UI could, but the grid size option is only for the app drawer and not the homescreen.
Ideally, I'd like for there to be a button or setting that let's me change the grid size on a per screen basis, instead of the universal setting that there is now. Can anyone help me out?
