Yesterday I have flashed my brad new I9000 with bujp5 ROM.
Although in "local and text" selection I have selected Croatian for my input language for Samsung keypad, it's still English layout. It's still qwery instead qwertz, and when I push (for example c), it should give me option ti put č and ć), but it doesn't.
Is there any way to fix this?
I would be very thankful
Hawe same problem.
We need a new "Vuk Karadžić", to remove čžš...:laugh:

Dears,
Sorry for creating new thread but I cannot find answer anywhere.
I have bought HTC TyTN II and it is not localized standard version: English.
I use English keyboard everyday but I need Russian as well. I don't like crappy additional utilities and software, I want to install keyboard layout like in Windows XP, standard windows version.
Question is:
See attachment. You can see English keyboard layout with au button marked in red. Is it possible to have Russian letters by pressing this button instead of symbols I don't use?!
Thank you!
I have a similar problem. I can create a Polish letter like "ł" typing "l", "au-button" and "space". Unfortunatelly this is the only Polish letter I can type this way. I also need special symbols with a,e,o,c,s,n but typing any of this letter "au-button" and "space" create an accent or some Spanish symbol. Can this be changed?
Hi there !
Since I installed Asukal's e-china for Diamond, my compact AZERTY keyboard and my phone keyboard got stuck on numeric and T9 isn't working anymore (even on the full AZERTY keyboard)
I checked some solution on the forum (i.e. : here) but those registry values are correct.
Could anyone help me for this?
Well, actually I just only need to have Asian languages support on my French ROM but CE-Star does not support non-WWE ROM (and I don't want to flash it) so hard keys are not working even if I add the registry value
Code:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010411 "Keyboard Layout" = "00000409"
Any help for this or the problem above is welcome.
Thanks in advance ^^
Does this e-china include Chinese typing support via the standard Diamond Keyboard !
I have asian font files & keyboard SIPs for asian languages, have Thai working on my Diamond with no problems so far !
The font file I use supports chinese, Korean & Thai
I also have font file for Japanese but have not tried it on WM6.1
Well, it does not have typing support (or I haven't seen it). Actually, I don't need this. I just want to read Japanese, Chinese, etc. characters and still be able to type my messages with the French T9 (and so, using the phone keyboard and the full/compact keyboard).
*bump please ^^"*
Ok... Found out the solution here.
Hope no other bugs will show up ^^"
Hi!
I got the Samsung Keyboard yesterday for £19.99 and have a question about languages.
My tablet is a UK one from Staples and has English and many European langauges, some that I do not know, but I guess Eastern European, and also Korean.
I know I can add Japanese from the Market and have Simeji and Simeji Classic.
I want to be able to switch languages using the LANG button to the right of the space bar on the keyboard, but add-on languages do not show.
Would the only way to make this key function for Japanese be to flash my tablet with a rom that has Japanese built in? I guess so.
I do know how to change languages by pressing in the input area but just wanted to get full finctionality out of the keyboard.
Thanks!
Ofiaich
Not sure if it'll help with the keyboard problem, but try "OpenWnn plus" for Japanese entry - I find it much better than simeji (predictive text especially)
thanks teegee17,
OpenWnn plus is nice but it can't be activated from the Samsung Dock keyboard.
If I install English English, American English, French etc, then pressing the language key on the keyboard dock, will scroll trough the installed languages, but it does not work for add ons.
Thanks,
Ofiaich
hey guys;
i just bought a Bluetooth keyboard for my own galaxy tab

Firmware :- 2.2
base-band:- P1000JPJJ1

No one have an answer?!! (
Hi!
Can you explain what you are doing to try to get the input with your new bluetooth keyboard please?
if I want to type in Japanese, I have to press in the text box on the Galaxy screen, i.e. from email, or text messaging, and choose input method and then I can see
Samsung keypad
Simeji ( My Japanese input method )
Swype
I choose simeji and then I can type Japanese or English.
If you can give more information, maybe we can get this problem sorted.
Ofiaich
this issue I had too.
Just go back to where you find your keyboard and checkout that the samsung keyboard is running and the one which is active.
Also fill in the advanced settings.
All other keyboards remove or make them inactive.
Now reboot your SGT with the keyboard on and he will work.
Iff he switches over to email settings etc...then call for your screenkeyboard and click in e.g. Two words and then change to keyboard aand it will work.
Greetings

Hello! I am finally a new happy owner of a Galaxy Note!
Its not perfect, I think the Dell Streak was easier to use (very hard to hold it in left hand and NOT press Power, Volume Up/Down buttons).
Anyway - I have much more serious problem:
Any outgoing SMS message in hebrew, is seen as question marks by the recipient (even using another Android phone as well).
Only clue that I have is, when I finish typing the message and click on Send, I get Warning (Attention) as follows: "Message may be corrupted on recipient device. Change input mode to automatic"
I am not sure what this mean?
My other problem, is that no other keyboard (like Anysoftkeyboard, or Swype), seem to allow language swapping using the Spacebar - which I found very comfortable (and swype not supporting hebrew at all) - so I must find a way to incorporate Hebrew into the Samsung Keyboard please.
Another potential issue, is that I feel the Stylus might not be functioning correctlly - it requires more pressure than I am used to, with my Dell Latitude XT2, which I use to write all lectures and practice at uni - perhaps something is wrong with my pen? or is it right that I have to apply what I would define as "moderate" pressure for it to even register on the Note taker?
ok, I solved my own problem for SMS:
When in Messaging center, click Menu, then Settings and go to Input Mode - change it to Automatic.
Hope it helps others who search for this dumb default setting on GSM alphabet (why??)
Still having the problem with Hebrew for the Samsung keyboard to switch using Spacebar
how did u get the hebrew keyboard to work, as when i try to type in hebrew the keys are not displayed correctly

Click to collapse
I am using AnySoftKeyboard, with added Hebrew keyboard addon.
It works fine, keys are displayed correctly out of the box Samsung ROM.
that is so weird because I have also used anysoftkeyboard and the Hebrew addon but the characters are not displayed correctly at all.
Although I have the Arabic rom installed which has RTL support
very weird
hmm, mine does not have Arabic option.
Is there any chance the distributor in your country decided on his own to make Hebrew intentionally not work on their ROM? (unlikely, but not unimaginable...)
Your alternative is to reflash the ROM to one Euro version.
Go settings-->Application-->All-->Messaging-->Clear Data
Hope this helps.
I need to add Portuguese language to the Note II T889. I know the Note II N7100 has it on it. How can this be done? Anyone? There has to be a way to import the Portuguese Language if the N7100 has it on it??!!??
