Just download the ROM zip and take it from that.
/system/app/Vending.apk
Just tried that and it will not onstall for some reason. I used the themed market from a post here. And now my market fc s all the time

I already replied to your other post on a fix. please dont open more then one trhead on the same subject
I just updated to the latest cyanogenmod and installed happened, but the market is still missing...
Any ideas on how to get it back? I did some searching and couldn't find any help outside of install the gapps zip. I did that. What now?

I will be getting a SGS in a few days, just wondering if someone can give me a link to any tutorials explaining how to install a ROM with latest CWM etc as I will be installing the 'darknight' ICS ROM.

There is no official cyanogen mod 9 or 10 for Cooper. There are a few in the original development section but these all have bugs and are still being developed. If you can live without things like camera, tethering, video recorder etc. then give them a try. Make a nandroid backup of your current ROM first in CWM recovery. Then try any one you want. If you don't like it, just restore your last good backup.

Remember, no ROM is perfect! Try them all until you find one that is best for your needs.
