Is it possible to get replacement backcovers for the Nexus S? A buddy of mine that works at Google swapped his Android backcover for my retail one. But I also want the normal one as well.

Me too. I've been searching around Google, but nothing yet. Today for my N1, I bought a battery cover for $21 on True Supplier, so I'm sure they'll eventually pop up.
I'd prefer the one with the little androids all over it I think.

I would totally buy just the back cover if they sold it separately.

Yeah I would be all over the back cover with the androids on it too
I wonder how much they'd be because of the integrated antenna.

HTC gave me a free one for saying my lens thing cracked. They were usually $30 oem. I think there's quite a bit more to the build of the ns back though. It's like half the phone! You could pretty much refurbish the device to new with one. hehe
Wow. I just got a flood of PMs asking to trade my back cover. -_-
Only if you guys throw in cash.
the phone is pratically brand new, it's just been a couple of weeks at best.
give it a couple of months, and the market will be full of selections to choose from, just like whent he Galaxy S started, there was barely any accessories for it.
Now every website you go to, it's flooded with all kind of parts & accessories for the SGS.
I'll pay the monies! I wants the precious!
ive got the holiday n1 door if anyone wants it.

I bought nexus s from craigslist and got ripped off... Someone sold me a phone without back battery cover. It came with a case and seller was in a hurry so I bought it by inspecting the software.
Can some one help me in buying a cheap case? Nfc is not a problem for me... I just want a 10-15 bucks battery cover...

Call Samsung support. They'll ask for imei and just tell then you broke your battery cover. Then say you heard they sold replacements. They'll check and then they'll sell it to you for $16. Took a little more than a week for me to get one.

Thanks man! you saved my life. Just called samsung support and had them send me the back cover for $16.23 with free 5-7 days shipping.
I also asked for the warranty on the product and they said that it was till March 2012. I also noticed that the screen has permanent impression of the virtual keyboard on it. First i thought that restoring to factoring settings will fix it but no... I still have the virtual keyboard impressions on the screen. I think it is the problem with the digitizer. They said that they will replace it for free. Now I am gonna have a cool phone once it comes back from Samsung.
Thanks a ton for showing me the way.
Anyhow, one more question, My phone is rooted and is running a custom rom on it, is it still under warranty? I am sure there should be a way to unlock the bootloader and return back to stock ROM, can you show me a thread please... I am gonna search also but I want to make sure I am doing it right before i do it... so that they don't deny me the warranty...
Thanks,
Edit/update: searched and found everything. Returned back to stock. It's so simple with nexus s! Thanks everyone who helped me

Go to samsungs nexus s website, the number will be listed where it says support. You just talk to a rep who will handle everything.

Just google samsung support phone number. It will help if you register your phone on their website before calling because that will save you some time.

I would like to know if the Seido 3500mah extra battery work for i9023?
In the http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-s/2230.htm seido website it shows all the USA carriers.
But I want the i9023 one for European ns.
There's this deal I saw in amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004Y...mp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B004YIZV6C
So what are you thoughts? And will it work?
Thanks a lot guys!

You can go ahead and try it if you'd like. It should work. I think the only difference between your European Nexus S is the SLCD screen.
The battery does come in handy. I left my review on Amazon for this purchase (I'm "Thisphuckinguy" on Amazon).
I also remember it being cheaper than what they are charging now.

No worries. Try to email Seido directly and see what they say.

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone had actually swapped out the One before the 14-day trial period had ended for another phone on Sprint, and weather there was any kind of upcharge. Do you still pay the 2year contract price for another phone? Just wondering. Thanks in advance guys.

Swaps are straight up, if there is a price difference you pay it. I just did this because my LTE broke and I upgraded [not quite] to the LG OG. Then in like 8 days and the One came out and I simply went back to the origin of purchase and exchanged it, it was $50 more, so I covered that.

I swapped my first HTC One because of the back/home button issue. I tried the Galaxy S4 for a day and returned it. I liked the HTC One better so got another HTC One and now no 4G LTE. As long us your under the 14 days you can return or swap the phone.

If its a legitimate issue, there shouldn't be a charge.. I took mine in the day i got it, because of the slightest gap on the top.
We opened another one, it was much worse. We opened a second one, and the top looked good, but the bottom was jacked up. So I'm just living with the slight gap, I'm the only person that would notice it anyways..
But we opened two others, and i ended up just taking back the one i had from the git go. They weren't going to ask for any money, and didnt when we unboxed two others.
The reason you like Samsung is because you had one before. I had a HTC before and I think people become loyal to a brand that they had good experience with before. I loved my EVO until it broke after three years. I had to go with HTC when I saw the One. If HTC didn't have the One I probably would go with Samsung S4.
Has anyone found replacement battery doors/backs for the Verizon G2 anywhere? Looking for either a stock/OEM one or different looking aftermarket ones. Surprised there aren't a ton of different looking and different material ones on eBay and Amazon. Nothing but ugly cases and ugly skins - and not even many of those.
Imagine a replacement back that is a soft touch type material like the Nexus 5, and with no ugly logos? Not much hope though since there don't seem to be any now...
I know that feel bro.

I've ordered parts from this company before. They're based out of Hong Kong, so expect shipping to take at least a week.

I have seen that site before but the back door is still plastic as the one that LG g2 has. I would like to change my back door with something better if there is a chance finding something nice. Maybe if we will wait a little bit more. Something better will show up. Thanks anyway
