Hello guys,
Desire/Nexus1 doesn't support playing flash movies from this popular site:
http://tv.winelibrary.com/
Could anyone with Nexus S or Galaxy S try to play it and see if it goes for more than first 30-40 seconds?
I've wrote a thread about this problem and opened a case @ Adobe
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9781112
Thanks.

Hello everybody !
I'am interested to buy a Galaxy Tab but wondering if we can watch HD streaming from own3d.tv, if someone here please may test and watching a live for testing and tell me if it works very well, would be very nice!
Many thanks!
Streaming 720p on youtube is working fine, so I suppose it's also working here. I can't test this site right now because my connection is slow at work.
Edit : I must add it's on gingerbread, on froyo it lags as hell.

If you can test when you back to home, would be very nice, because I really want to be sure. I found a used galaxy tab for 250 euros on the net and he waits for my answer back
Not before 8PM GMT.

Galaxy Tab has a tegra chip in which struggles to stream 1080p.
Galaxy S II plays very well

Don't know about 720p though. That might play smoothly on the Galaxy Tab

No it doesn't
DK206 : don't talk about what you don't know please. I know you just want to help but that will lead into desinformation. Galaxy tab 7" has a hummingbird cpu and powervr sgx540 gpu.

AndroidGX : HD is choppy, SD is fine. I guess the bitrate is too high on this site, weird it's working fine on youtube.

Anyone else get laggy video while watching Youtube or Netflix on their Galaxy 8.9 ICS? (I have a 10.1 ICS as well and the lag is the same).
I have noticed similar activity.

I'm not sure about netflix but I've got same stuttering/laggy HD videos in the youtube app as well after the update to ICS. It no longer streams HD videos smoothly. Switching HD off makes it play fine. I'm running stock ICS, and on HC it was smooth. Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2YJggBVdeI
in youtube app. The stuttering is quite annoying, every 5-10 seconds.
It's not my bandwidth. I don't know if this is an ICS issue or the youtube app issue, but my phone with ICS has no problems playing HD videos in youtube app. Does anyone know a fix ? Thanks.

I'm getting the same problem too! Pretty frustrating. I'm happy with the ROM otherwise. Can anyone help?
Same problem myself. Downloading the YouTube video with Tubemate and there's no problem. No clue how to fix it. :/
Same here
HD videos in youtube that used to play flawlessly now stutter as mentioned above after the update to ICS. Is their an official samsung grievances forum where we can all go and put this as a bug?

Isn't the YouTube app from Google? Anyway, yes I do get the stuttering on some hd videos mainly those with a lot of action. I bet there is something wrong with the codec used by the YouTube app.

I bet not. Using AOKP it is fine, no stuttering. Samsung released something half baked.

So the front page says:
"Galaxy Note Video Player Ported to Galaxy S II"
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/galaxy-note-video-player-ported-to-galaxy-s-ii/
At first I was like big deal until I read it and it mentions the Galaxy Note has a pop-out video player like the SIII.
I google some more and sure enough another page says the same thing:
http://www.allaboutgalaxynote.com/top-10-new-features-in-galaxy-note-after-ics-update/
So I go to my video player...and nothing. I can't get it pop out for anything. As a matter of fact the only player I can get to do that is Mobo.
Am I missing something here or are we left out of the party?
Wow yeah thats strange but dice player on the app market has a good pop out player

As the title suggests, I'm unable to stream video, this all happened after upgrading from CM9 to CM10. I've tried different apps, YouTube, TED, Netflix, neither work.
I can watch regular videos just fine, including 720p.
Any ideas what's up?

Did you tried those streaming videos on any other phones as well.
Yes, the videos work fine on other devices...
I am able to watch clips stored on my phone, regular files, and I am able to watch clips on other devices (watched some 720p videos from my laptop with MX Player)
I am unable to stream video whether they are in the browser, the YouTube app; TED Talks app; Netflix app, or anything else.
What happens when I try is the thing loads, the duration of the clip is shown in the progress bar, but it refuses to play, just goes in an endless loop of looking like the buffering is finished.

try vplayer and see if it helps
I don't think you understand.
I don't have a problem with regular video clips (which is what vplayer does), i have a problem solely with streaming video.

Hi. First of all, did you fix permissions when you installed cm10? Was it a clean install? If so, try to stream your videos over WiFi, not over EDGE network. A few months ago I was unable to watch you tube videos on my PC and on my phone over WiFi (over 3G network it worked) and I called my ISP after that, in 2 days everything was just like before. YouTube worked again. So, it may be a problem with your ISP too (if using WiFi from home although is less probable).
Ultimately you can try dalvik/cache wipe and reinstall cm10 or try a different ROM, maybe it's gonna solve the problem.
I hope this helps.
Naw it wasn't a clean install (when going from CM9), I did the usual dalvik wipe but that was it. I was going to do a clean install once CM10 stable came out anyway, so I guess I'll take your advice and do a proper upgrade now...
The problem is persistent btw, wifi or 3g doesn't make a diff, but lets see what happens after the wipe.
Thanks

So I did a proper install: full wipe, installed cm10 stable, and flashed semaphore kernel 2.6.0.
After restoring my backup, everything worked. YouTube, TED, Netflix, regular video playback, all good.
Then today, no go, video playback works, but streaming video in either apps no longer works.
The only difference between today and before is that I tried using H/W+ decoder in MX Player, could that have broken it somehow?
Before posting I fixed permissions and rebooted, no change.
Ideas?

Was wondering if anyone is having this issue. I have At& t Note 9 and just got the OTA to Android 10. While watching YouTube I rotated devices to view in full screen and what I was watching forced closed. I then tried watching a movie with Samsung video player same thing happened. Used Odin to go back to Pie tested youtube and downloaded video no issue when rotating device video plays fine. Has anyone had this issue since updating to Android 10? Thanks in advance.
