Minimalist text or tajm.
Get beautiful widgets, they have a lot of differnt clocks to choose from. It's on the market place.
I can think of two
mClock
and
Clockr
Minimalist text is great, so many options and it's not just a time widget.it's battery and date too...
Thanks all. I tried clockr and minimalistic text. I like the latter.

Ohshi I never realized that...but that requires using a custom layout and I haven't the slightest clue how to do that hence why I just use the pre-defined layouts let lol
Semi sorta how to on Minimalistic Text
Minimalistic Text:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Where it says Predefined layout, choose Custom and then click on Custom layout.
Once you're in the Custom layout, you can drag those boxes in the top down to the dumpster.
Now the 3 icons that are to the right of the layout on top are from top to bottom :
Add Type > Which shows at the Bottom (Date, Battery, Clock, Weather, Misc.)
Add Row > Allows you to add another row (example Top row Clock, Bottom row Date)
Delete Row > Allows you to delete a row.
So, whatever type you choose, there are a lot of options. You just drag those boxes up to the top of row.
In the 1st screenshot under Custom layout is Text Style, you can play with those to set the different text styles and at the bottom you can preview your Widget.
Hope this helps a little bit!
Guys..
Dont even bother with minimalistic text. I love SiMi Clock.

minimalist text > simi clock.
it's all opinion my friend. but when minimalist text can do clock, date, weather, battery in any layout you want, it is far better than simi clock, again, in my opinion.
Weather & Toggle Widget, Weather Widget Forecast Addon is good one also..
Minimalist Text is very flexible.
Once you learn how to move around it, the options are endless.

I've made my own minimal icons to mimic the ones by Ultralinx, but in black.
I thought you guys might want them, I think they look a lot better with themes like Revolution that have very dark status bars.
Two PSD files, a font, and a readme file are included to help you make your own icon.
You need to use desktop visualizer to apply these icons, and use astro to choose the file instead of the gallery, because the background of the previews in the gallery is the same color as the icons and you cant tell which is which

SiMi Clock
Ok, I use SiMi Clock too, but how are you getting an extension of the vertical line in SiMi? Which beautiful widgets weather skin is that?
What weather widget is that you're using?
Confused.
Im sorta at a loss here, I have used to Desktop Vis. as well as setting up me icos side to side of the "Launcher Pro" home icon. How do I change that one and get the "Launch opition for the Apps menu".
Im currently running 1.4.1 Blackhole with Launcher Pro.
Do I need to Uninstall Launcher Pro and then apply?
Also how are you getting the extension of the black line on SiMi??
EDIT: The weather is Beautiful Widgets and the skin is called "Tick"
Still can't figure out how to get the extension of the line down and how to pull the weather all to one side, I'm still getting it all the way across with NO black line.
Also whats the Wallpaper your using? Looks really nice together.

I used Launcher pro (needs to be the pay version, free doesn't support resizing).
Add the weather widget.
Add Simi clock.
Position the weather widget where you want it to be
Hold on the Simi clock widget to activate launcher pro's resizing.
Drag the box down as far as you want.
The line should extend down as far as the box is drawn.

Launcher Pro Plus most likely.
It replaces your default launcher and allows you to resize widgets among other things. Find it in the market.
Bump.
Please let us know how you did that screen, I love it.
I think you are using SiMi Clock, Beautiful Widgets and Batt Stat.
What I can't figure out is how you extended the line down, the wallpaper, or the notification bar.
Icons are awesome as well.

Extending the line is done with LauncherPro Plus. It allows you to resize any widget by long pressing and releasing
The notification bar has to be built into the ROM he is using, or is a Morph (search metamorph) that changes files.
that's awesome
thanks!
Can you share the wallpaper please? Thanks!
looks great! good work

Ahh, thank you.
In his post "Minimalistic Text Widget" was mentioned, but I thought nothing of it.
I was looking for a "clock" title of some sort.
Had no idea this widget would display time. lol
Thanks guys!
Now I don't know how to get the time like that.
: D
Choose layout > custom then in the editor go to time and choose the following:
Hour (12h) Static Text Minute (2 digits)
The static is under the "Misc" section in the editor and allows you to type in any text you want, for this instance I'm using it to display the colon ( : )
Let me know if you have any other questions!

I got as far as the clock part. Getting it in digital format.
It's the layout and size of everything that messes up.
When I try to make the time bigger, as shown in your screenshot, it ends up overlapping and cutting off the minutes.
Can you give me a rundown of exactly how you did yours? D: thanks.
NVM I got it. :]
Took like 10 minutes lol.
Had to use two different sized widgets to do it. align it, set each field, etc.

Maybe I'm just missing something, but it seems like there's a severe lack of decent looking, customizable grid style calender widgets. With so many other "minimal" style widgets for everything under the sun, why doesn't something like this exist?

No need for month/days of week text, ugly headers or crazy amounts of frills, just a really basic 1px bordered grid with a transparent background.
Any suggestions? Closest things I could sorta find were:
Month Calender Widget: I like how small and basic it is, but there's no transparency options and it doesn't really have a visible lined grid.
Android Pro Widgets: Full featured, but much visually bulkier and text heavy than I would like like. There's a few more customization options in the paid version but from what I could tell they wouldn't really give me what I want. Someone also suggested a skin for this existed that was exactly what I wanted, but I can't find it.
Thanks to anyone who could point me in the right direction!
