[Request]Vanilla aosp theme

I wanted to request a vanilla theme. That's all... For DI01 preferably.

It'd be interested in this as well. At least something that is AOSP-ish looking.

Please teach me your ways... I actually don't know how to package a zip or sign a zip for uploading, so...

I second (or third) this -- but also don't know how to pull a theme out of an existing rom.

you don't need to zip it.. just pull the framework-res.apk twframework-res.apk (something like that i know its twframework something.apk) then just push it to your phone via adb

So those two APKs are all that we need?

im not responsibile for your actions, if you brick your ish its your fault.. Im simply trying to help out those that want the aosp theme.... So with that being said **try at your own risk**
im not giving instruction on how to use these since anyone with experiance would know how to....
CREDIT DUE TO AOSP Magic by bubby323 for the theme and rom I've simply ripped the files needed to port the theme

Okay, here are the files needed. THIS IS NOT FLASHABLE IN CWR. Unzip the files, and push to system/framework. I would like to see if someone would make this compatible with DJ05. This is a bit different from bubby's, as bubby's has a few incorrect icons, most noticeably the signal meter. Also, you need the services.jar in order to get the black text in the notification bar. If anyone would like to package this up to have it work with DI01, please do so. Also, any of you theming masters out there, could you please port this for DJ05, I simply do not have the time or patience, lol.

That would be money. Can someone do that?

I intend on doing this sometime as my first theme/port but it might be at least a week before I start because I have an upcoming exam and other work to do for my classes.
If someone else wants to undergo the task though be my guest

to add the battery...the xml has to be edited and the images created/imported into the file

[Theme] WIP CM7 NexTheme

Ok here is one of my all time favorite themes, NexTheme!
This is for CM7 posted at 6/1/11 - 10:40PM in the CM7 thread.
Currently it's only the Framework, SystemUI and Settings. (which themes most of the phone)
I will be going through and theming the apps later this week (crazy busy at work this week but I'm trying to have the apps done by the weekend). If anyone here has seen my work on the OG Droid you will know I'm very detailed and have added quite a bit that the original theme did not have so stayed tuned.
If you find anything missing please let me know so I can update it, (not the apps of course at this point). Oh yeah I threw some old school animations in it as well.
As always please make a backup just in case.
This is a .zip file and installs like any other .zip, just don't wipe when flashing.
Let me know what you think so far, good, bad or indifferent.

I will get some up tonight. But just so you know NexTheme is based off stock HTC.

i have a blue version and a purple version of "nextheme" that I am uploading righ t now. Hopefully I'll be able to post links and photos...
The way I "theme" is basically just the entire rom and the theme chooser to make it more complete. Seems like the theme chooser won't theme everything.

Just wanted to clarify, since you flash the uot kitchen zips like any other zip yet it adds the theme to the theme chooser...

Any chance of an update on this?

Alright here it is. Pull whatever you want from it. Everything is here apps framework exct. You could take this drop it on your phone and flash it if you want.
The standard drop on SD card flash via Rom Manager.
But i would love for someone to just take the framework for system and apps and put it on a Tmobile theme engine.

MiUi Screen Animations (1.9.16) Only works on MiUi and the newest build.

Here are a bunch of animations that I found. I made flashables. I will make sure that these are updated once we update EVERY build. These animations will work on any phone running the latest MiUi build. Have fun and enjoy. Bounce Animation (clickme)
Fly In and Flip Animation (clickme)
Twisted Animations (clickme)
Stock Android Animations (clickme)
For those having problem's with their phones not taking the flashables i made
First download the animation you want above.
next your going to want to pull your framework apk from the current rom your using by navigating to system>framework>framekwork.apk, place it on the pc your going to use.
rename the framework.apk to .zip and open with what ever program you use to view zips
Now that you have your stock apk renamed and opend in your zip program navigate to the res>anim folder thats going to be the folder we are going to drop the modifeied xmls in the animation zip you already downloaded
now navigat to animation.zip file you downloaded and also open in your zip program
open the anim folder
copy all of those modified xmls and paste them in your stock anim folder that we left open replace anything it asks you too
now you can close out the custom anmation we wont need it any more
now close out the stock zip as well
navigate to the stock file we just moded and rename it from .zip to .apk
and your done
push the frame work apk to the folder you took it out from and enjoy

Can you also make flashables for the overscroll like on CM7? The glow doesnt fit MIUI, CM7 iphone-like bouncing is way better imo ^^

please make sure to mount system / data / cache are all mounted before flashing

Ive been trying and when I get the framework.jar jut right ill post.
But so far I cant find the float params in the original. and most values are in hex not decimal.

I've been working on this mod for a few days. Its built into the framework.jar and is nowhere near as simple as pulling the jar file. Even the smali file he provided works with almost nothing. This is something that can be done by building from source or smali edits. I've looked at both and source looks like the way to go on it. I'll help get it over here if I get it done first. If not then someone can help me.
