Stuck on installing new radio

So I have been stuck at 1.5 forever. I got the phone the first day it came out and rooted it as soon as it was available but got lazy about it after that and never messed with it.
So I finally decided to install Cyanogen Mod 6/2.2 for the phone and took the plunge. I followed the instructions and everything went well up until the flashing the new radio (2.22.23.02). It seemed to go fine until it prompted me for a reboot and first said installing, but now it's been stuck at Formatting CACHE:... for over 10 minutes.
I haven't touched anything and was hoping someone could let me know the proper course of action. I'm using Amon_Ra Recovery image BTW.
Also, I had already downloaded everything in anticipation of the 2.2 upgrade and the DangerSPL zip file is 0KB. I'm going out on a limb here and assuming that's incorrect.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/mygwqxgmdz2te2j/haykuro_new_spl-signed.zip
there is danger SPL.. also is it at the recovery menu saying formattin cache, are you able to move the thru the menu using the track ball?
Yeah, I can move through the menu just fine. I just don't know what to select.
Ok thats fine then Lol... your ok you can continue to do what you wanted to do...
once flash new radio it will want to reboot so reboot and it will isntall new radio and should go back to Recovery
let it do its thing once you are able to move around in recovery menu you can continue with the steps of flashing new rom..
Oh, ok. Thanks. I just thought something was wrong because it was still flashing messages at the bottom like it was doing something until it got to that formatting cache, and I thought it would have automatically rebooted if it went correctly since I had already selected reboot.
Again, thank you.
Oh, and the haykuro spl will work fine instead of the death spl? Is it just another version of the death spl?
Flashing Radio
Please follow the instructions that correspond to the custom recovery image on the HTC Dream to flash the radio.
Amon_Ra's Recovery process
1. Download the latest version of the radio (2.22.23.02).
2. Place the radio update.zip file on the root of your SD card.
3. Boot into the Amon_Ra's Recovery.
* Power off the HTC Dream, and reboot holding the Home button plus the power button.
4. Once you enter Amon_Ra's Recovery, scroll up & down with the trackball, and the trackball button to select.
5. Select Flash zip from sdcard.
6. Select the radio update.zip.
The Nexus One will reboot during this process.
7. Once the installation has finished, select Reboot system. Now the HTC Dream's Baseband version should now be 2.22.23.02.

Prerequisites
1. A rooted G1/Dream
2. A compatible radio (IMPORTANT: If you just rooted, the RC29/RC7 install includes a 1.x radio and you MUST install one of the 2.x radios below before DangerSPL)
* 2.22.23.02 seems to get more bars for T-Mobile US customers, though non-US users might have better luck with 2.22.19.26i.
* (HardSPL/Engineering Spl Users) Radio installations can be had by fastboot flash radio radio.img after extracting radio.img from the .zip
* Either of the following radio versions is acceptable.
o Radio 2.22.19.26I
o Radio 2.22.23.02 (G1)
o Rogers Dream users: A 3.X radio is Danger compatible (eg 3.22.26.17)
Failure to meet the Prerequisites WILL result in a BRICK!
Files required
1. DangerSPL: Download
2. Latest version of CyanogenMod 5/6
3. Corresponding latest version of Google Apps
4. Roger's & Orange Dream ONLY: Corresponding latest version of the EBI1 kernel
Steps
It has been brought up that Clockwork Recovery struggles with this guide, so Amon_ra is v1.7.0 recommended. If you have CM or older recovery, upgrade to Amon_Ra first.
Please if you need to diverge from these steps for any reason start over from step 1 when you return.
1. Boot into Fastboot (Power on the phone holding the camera button) This will either show a screen with dancing androids or a "rainbow" splash. Here you will find the hboot/radio version:
* radio 1.x: You will need to upgrade this to a 2.x radio before running this process.. please upgrade and re-do this step (Ie. verify you see the updated radio in fastboot before continuing)
* radio 2.x: You may press MENU+SEND+END at the same time and proceed (unless hboot-1.33.2005 is installed; indicating you already have DangerSPL)
* radio 3.x: You may press MENU+SEND+END at the same time and proceed (unless hboot-1.33.2005 is installed; indicating you already have DangerSPL)
2. Copy DangerSPL, CyanogenMod 5/6, and the Google Apps (also the EBI1 kernel port if required) to the root of your SD card.
3. Reboot/Boot into your custom recovery by holding down the 'home' key before the G1 splash appears.
4. Make a Nandroid Backup (ext not required) (recommended for upgrading users, not required for freshly-rooted users)
5. Flash DangerSPL. It will install and then ask you to reboot to finish the installation
6. Reboot as prompted at the bottom of the screen. This will finish installing DangerSPL and reboot back into recovery so you can flash your ROM.
7. Once back into recovery Wipe Data/Factory Reset
8. Flash CyanogenMod 5/6 THEN the Google Apps (also the EBI1 kernel port if required); then reboot (Boot may take longer than normal)
9. Login to Android/Google as usual.
* Optional: Reboot to recovery, and issue a Nandroid Restore, then follow the regular instructions .
o This command will attempt to restore user data.
o Restoring will also restore your previous Firmware, so you have to follow the instructions to get 5.0.x again
o Note: If this causes undesired consequences (ie bootloops, FC's, etc) then run Fix Permissions/'Fix UID Mism

Lol i love that whole mix up.. to clear things up...
Death/Danger/Haykuro are all but one in the same, jus different ppl use the name
If you ever notice they are all the same hboot which is 1.3.00 or something like that.. and those three names require the same method, flash new radio then the SPL... so those are the same jus different name
There is only 3/4 SPL
Hard SPL
Engineer SPL
Death/Danger/Haykuro SPL
G1 original SPL

[Q] CWM

Does anyone have CWM link and instructions how to install?
I would like to install EU retail JB
Thanks
First, you will have to unlock your bootloader (this will void your warranty.. So there will be no going back!)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32576654
Get CWM from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974097
Then you will need to enter boot mode and flash CWM with:
fastboot flash recovery [cwm image file you downloaded].img
and
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Before you follow these instructions.. I would advise you to do a bit of reading, in case things go bottoms-up. (They usually do.)
AW: [Q] CWM
Unlock your BL
Enable USB Debugging
Connect your RAZRi with your PC
Run the CWM. bat or CWMblack. bat (for the black Edition)
Follow the Instructions on Screen after the 2nd reboot into the Bootloader

Stuck on 6.0.3.1 CMW on T-Mobile. Don't know how to update

Rom manger isn't showing me a update for 6.0.4.3 and I don't know how to update said recovery so I can flash a 4.4 ROM. Sorry I know I made another post about this but I have no clue on what to look for and how to manually flash a recovery. I'm S-On and bootloader unlocked if this helps
Download links for the latest CWM are in there. Download onto your computer, and run the command fastboot flash recovery (CWM recovery image file name).

[RECOVERY] ClockworkMod Touch v6.0.4.5
Edit: Oops, corrected command. There are some instructions at the start of that thread.
I have no idea on how to run a command lol. I'm a noob at this kind of stuff. I'm running Windows 8.1 if that helps
How did you unlock your bootloader? If it was with some Windows tool, look for an option to flash a custom recovery.
Or else, I'd advise you to start doing some reading. Sections 0 and 3 outline what you need to do. I don't have Windows 8 but I heard there's some peculiarities with the drivers, so you should do some searching on how to get adb/fastboot working on 8.

Can't OTA Update Relocked Phone

Today I unrooted my phone and relocked it so I could update my phone to 4.4.3 but every time I try to update it the phone will boot into fastboot mode and it reads "security warning" under where it says "Relocked". It does that every time I want to go to recovery.

You need a stock rom and stock recovery for the OTA to work.
I'm using both a stock rom and a stock recovery.
Why are you trying to boot into recovery if you have the stock recovery installed?

The screen will read "Entering Recovery" for 1 second then goes into fastboot mode.
Might want to try installing the stock Android system recovery again (doesn't sound like you have a recovery installed at this point). Sounds like that's what your issue is. You can also use a RUU to get back to stock and then take the OTA update.
To run a RUU, would I need to unlock my bootloader again?

No.
Well, I tried to run RUU and FUU and both of them failed. I can't get passed step 1. Can I install a custom recovery and try again?
Make sure the firmware version of the RUU matches what you have installed. If you need a reference hit the second link in my sig and scroll down to the section regarding Hboot versions.

I just got my sprint m8 hk edition 2 days ago, after which I htcdev unlocked, rooted, s-off'd(tried firewater got whelped) used sunshine successfully, flashed captain throwbacks latest twrp, then proceeded to debloat. After I got the notification for the 1.54.654.13 update I fastboot flashed back to stock hk recovery 1.54.654.9, and got that ota installed and only had to reroot was still s-off and unlocked. Fastboot flashed cap's twrp again, then I got the ota update for 1.54.654.15(didn't realize this thing needed so many updates, I now know I still have 2 or 3 more to go) So I flashed back to stock hk 1.54.654.13 recovery, tried installing 1.54.654.15 and it reboots and tries to install it makes it to about 25% then the pic of the phone gets a red triangle and I have to hold pwr and volume up to reboot. I've redownloaded and reflashed the stock hk 1.54.654.13 recovery multiple times as well as deleting the ota update and redownloading it 3 times to no avail same result every time. Soooo, my question is do I even need to update step by step? Or should I just download the latest firmware 2.16.654.4 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729173 and install thru my pc. If so, I believe I need to relock my bootloader then ruu to 2.16.654.4. And last question, do I lose s-off by ruu'ing?

You do not lose S-OFF ever. Only way to go back to S-ON is by doing is manually.
I believe it was the first or second OTA but you had to be completely on the stock ROM (the OTA looked for certain .apks in folders and if you didn't have them [ie. you debloated] you can't OTA).
Since you're S-OFF just go flash the latest firmware (no need to relock and RUU).

You can get the firmware zip that doesn't have the new recovery so you don't have to reinstall recovery again either. If you don't have the H/K version it is this one you should download from OMJ's thread:
Code:
2.16.651.4 Modified Firmware w/ modified hboot (no red text)....removed boot & recovery (fastboot flashable): [url]http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567714842[/url] credit to @nfinitefx45 for the edited hboot, thx!
If you have the H/K version download:

Command is: fastboot flash zip zipName.zip

i did fastboot rebootRUU then fastboot flash zip firmware.zip it ran thru and after I rebooted my wifi won't turn on and my software version is still the same and my sdcard is borked too heeeeeeeellllllppppp
Not sure what to tell you about your Wi-Fi or SD card issue. Are you using a custom kernel? As far as the software version goes, that won't change by updating your firmware. That will only change by flashing a custom ROM. Software & firmware are not the same.

Trying to go back to stock rom with root access, anyone help?

There are probably a ton of threads asking the same thing but I need help...lol
I have Sprint HTC ONE M7 (m7wls)
Recovery - ClockworkMod v6.0.4.3
OS - 6.23.651.10
HBOOT - 1.61.0000
Current ROM - CANDY5
TAMPERED
UNLOCKED
S-ON
I tried to flash the zip of the stock rom i found here on xda but i got zip signature verification FAILED...Help
First of all, you might consider using TWRP instead of Clockwork Mod to flash the zip. I've had more luck with TWRP on my One.
Personally, anytime I want to run stock rooted (which is most of the time honestly), I use it as an excuse to do the ultimate cleanup of my phone by running the RUU. I've written a guide on how to do that if you need the help. The guide will get you back to completely stock unrooted. At that point, you will need to reunlock using the HTC site (since you are s-on), flash a custom recovery (the latest TWRP works fine for me) and then use TWRP to flash the SuperSU zip. At that point, you'll be stock rooted.
