Metamorph over flashed theme? - Droid Eris Themes and Apps

My son flashed a theme into my phone after installing the latest Taz rom. I want to go back to my old theme that I installed using metamorph. Can I just install metamorph now and install my theme, or will it mess up my phone since it has a flashed theme on it? Thanks for any help!

It should be fine because the image files are only changed. So go for it.

Simple Question!!!

ok so im new to all this, and i have a theme flashed to my phone already... but i want to flash another theme should i just flash this theme in top of the first one? or should i wipe the phone first?
you should be able to flash the theme on top with no problems. but if you run into problems flash the rom on top without wiping to go back to the original theme.
then flash your new theme.

[REQ]Stock themes/rom themes

Can some one please post the CWM flashable stock themes and superclean, backhole, kaoscinate themes, thanks

All themes are flashable in CWM. Just flash the one appropriate for your firmware and rom version. Oh, and it might be best to read on this before making threads like these.

do you mean like a "back to stock version of all of those roms?"
really just reflash the rom is the best bet...although i know it does add back apps you deleted and change launcher/etc...i mean its not hard to make one, but you ll have to hope someone wants to bother with it
Yeah like the how the ROM orginaly looks when you flash it, and id rather not reflash the whole ROM, I have this theme problem with super clean wenever a I flash a theme over another theme so I need to flash the super clean theme in the middle of flashing a new one, soooo can some 1 please post it

theres already a thread that tells you how to extract the theme from each of the roms, maybe you should search for it.
I'm bad at extracting?? Can some1 please post it??

ACS Updater Fix <for me>

Yes im a noob as you guys would call it but i was one of the many experiencing problems with the new acs updater package. When we tried to update to sfr 1.2 via the install from sd card option, we were sent to the blue recovery screen. Also when we went back into the acs updater, everything disappeared. So i figured using common sense i guess, lets start over. So i installed sfr 1.2 the old fashion way and its working! I was running rooted epic, cwm orange, vision kernel, and sfr 1.1....i upgraded to sfr 1.2....cwm purple...and changed kernel to the Genocide kernel.....and just downloaded a theme using the acs updater. It works fine...i dunno...hope this helps...and i hope this post is in the right spot..if not..please forgive me!!
Yea, I was having issues where i had to pull battery

Metamorph/restore question?

Let's say I metamorphed some icons. If I flash a new Rom, that has custom icons built in it, will it overwrite the previous changes I made? Or will it stay the same. am I supposed to do a backup too when I didn't have the custom icons then flash the new Rom? My questions go for roms too I guess then. Let's say I flash the ICB Rom but then I want to switch to the monster Rom. Do I have to backup/restore then flash the new one? Or just flash no problem and have it overwrite the previous one. Sorry guys there's a lot of questions but it all serves the same purpose. Thanks for your help!

I didn't know MetaMorph worked on the D3. What icons were you flashing? I want to change some in framework-res, the Contacts app, and the browser.

Well I downloaded some off of droidpirate. Not all of them worked but some did. Like for example. I got a purple USB connection icon. A red battery indicator ex. But for now I just Metamorphed for some gingerbread icons and statusbar( the green glow one). I'm also stock deadened. But do u know the answer to my question? Lol

Whatever you flash *will* replace any/all images.
You also do not *need* a backup, but its always good to have a current backup just in case.
Also, after you flash a rom, you can always metamorph a theme back over it.

Metamorphosis issues please help

Ok so I got metamorph and downloaded this theme that says its compatible with most likely all devices. I moved it to android themes folder and extracted using metamorph. After a clicked apply and rebooted it still shows my old battery.
I'm kinda a noob and don't know what's wrong. I use an HTC liberty rooted and running cm7.1 and ADW launcher came already on the rom.
Sorry it says I can't post links yet so PM me for it.
