Hello Everyone,
I am not sure if someone else had this issue. Its related to the default MP3\Video player on HTC HD7. If i dont open the Music & Videos for some time or may be days and when i choose to play music it does plays it but with no sound coming from spearks.
If i play a video at the same time the sound will be there if a call is coming the sound will be there, but only mp3 wont play.
And the only optio i am left with is to reboot the phone and then it again starts to work fine. I also tried checking after syncing the phone with Zune but nothing happened.
Can someone help me here with some clues or if someone else is also having this issue.
anyone else had this issue. or i am the lucky one to have this issue

Hi all,
I have a Problem with the HTC Music player... everytime i want to hear music over my bluetooth headset, there is absolutely no sound. If I switch to WMP, its works fine.
I found nothing to configure in HTC Audiomanager - Thought it uses the System-Volume? I turned it to max, but also no sound... Switch to WMP it works fine
I'm using the latest 1.93-Rom, so I can't update to anything
Has anyone the same problem or any solution?
Many thanks
Same problem here. Same ROM. Worked nice for about a month, now I can't get the sound from speaker nor BT. WMP/Core player work and stream ok. Any info on this?
Weird thing, after deleting almost all of my music, the HTC player seems to play unexisting songs, I mean it scrolls the dot displaying remaining time etc. With no sound whatsoever.
Is there a way to restart the player so it clears the library? Or to reinstall it. Don't wanna go through hard resetting the device.
Tried soft reset and pull the battery out thing all right.
Hi
A few days ago I installed the JPC firmware on my phone.
I didn't install the One Click Lag Fix.
Now I'm having problems with .avi files - the audio is way too slow, and therefore it looses sync with the video after less than a second, and it's getting worse each second.
Dis anyone experienced that?
What can I do to solve that issue?
BTW, I used the default video player and other 2 that I found on the market (MixZing and mVideoPlayer) both with the same result.

No sollution yet :-(
I noticed a very odd, and big, bug today on my Moto X. I had just got around to linking it to my cars bluetooth and noticed after I ended a call the music didn't resume. Upon opening Pandora I found the music was on fast forward and would not let me stop it. If I was to skip to another song the new song was also on fast forward. I have since tested it on another bluetooth device to rule out my cars bluetooth as the culprit, and it happened on the other device as well. I was also able to reproduce it using YouTube (so it's not a bug with Pandora). I have done a factory reset and the bug remains. I am wondering if anyone else has this or if this could possibly just be a problem with my phone?
Here is the workflow to reproduce the bug:
Connect phone to bluetooth device that supports both phone and music profiles.
Open up youtube and start watching a video (audio will play through bluetooth)
After about 15 seconds click the home button
Call someone (I called a 1-800 number)
After about 15 seconds on the phone, hang up
Now go back to youtube and press play
The video will be playing in fast forward (no audio) and there isn't a way to stop this.
Once you disconnect bluetooth you can then play the video fine
*You may have to make a phone call 2 or 3 times before this happens, but it will happen - at least on my phone.
Can others please test to see if you can reproduce it? My phone is stock and running kitkat with all apps up-to-date. I have also tested this using my Nexus 5 and it does not have this issue. I will try to record a video tomorrow to better show what is happening.
same problem
i am having the same problem, but mine doesn't appear to be connected to bluetooth just all media is fast forward with no audio.
tested so far:
1) audible
2) youtube
3) videos recorded locally stored both on SD and Local drive
4) downloaded videos
5) played on mx player pro, vlc, stock media player
I am rooted and running lollipop on my note 3 N900
I am trying to stream music through Bluetooth in my BMW iDrive and I cannot get it to work with apps like Spotify, TuneIn. My phone is a Sprint HTC One M7 (4.1.2) and it streams fine the mp3 stored on the phone (played through the HTC Music app), so I know it is possible and it should work, but not with those internet streaming apps. Previously, I was using it in my VW and it has always worked great.
I tried many time the usual unpair/pair thing, I updated the BMW software to the latest, and still nothing.
Before upgrading my phone, I wanted to check if someone has any idea on this?
Possible to upgrade the Bluetooth stack only maybe?
Nobody experienced this?
Any idea that could help me? What else could I try to debug this?
I upgraded my phone to the KitKat version and now everything is working fine.
Just updated to the Samsung Note4 from a SG5 and SG4 before that with many other Android phones.
I've been running into the issue that I can't find anyone else reporting or a resolution to and hope someone here can help.
I listen to podcast or Pandora. Unfortunately this version of Samsung Android, does not allow setting any other application as default for music or media playing.
When ever I connect through earphones, or Bluetooth the Music app automatically plays. Even when another audio app is running and when using either the earphones or Bluetooth button to pause or play will automatically start up the Music app and start playing.
I've partially stopped this by adding Bluetooth Connect & Play app from the Play Store. This is just a small fix that doesn't always work.
Interestingly enough when I turn off my car after listening to a Podcast or Pandora, I turn off the radio 1st to disconnect from the Bluetooth and also stop it from starting backup when I get in, the Phone immediately starts up the Music app and starts playing from the phone speaker.
I have already done a factory reset once.
I have contacted Samsung Support, only to be told that these features are "Samsung manufacturing design."
I have couple of options from what I can tell, Root the phone and change out the ROM with something that is close to stock but works, or Return the phone and take advantage of my 1st gen version of Jump and switch to the second phone in a year, which I am seriously debating. Might just go to the Nexus 6, maybe back to the Samsung GS5 which worked great, or join the herd and go with iPhone which really annoys me to be honest. I like being able to customize my phones which is what is really frustrating with this issue.
If anyone has any suggestions, similar experiences, or general helpful comments, its much appreciated.
Rooted the Note 4 today.
Disabled the Samsung Music app.
Set Google Play as the default music player, but the issue continues as it appears to be a Bluetooth communication issue.
What ever the default music app will respond to all Bluetooth controls, regardless if there is another music/media app running at that time.
Does anyone have a suggestion other than removing all MP3's on the phone and/or deselecting a default media app?
Thanks.

Just to post an update that others might be able to find helpful.
I found a old forum post about this exact issue on other android devices. One suggestion was an app called Media Button Router. It so far seems to be a work around for now.
