[ROM] Embrace MIUI 12.31.03 | English | Deodexed | Adblocking - Droid Incredible Android Development

This rom is a modification of stock MIUI 12.31.0 featuring updated/removed apps, wallpapers, themed widgets and more. It is currently in testing stage.
The goal is to keep a stable stripped down MIUI with minimum applications and focus on customization.
This is a early rom, some things may not work (however I have had no issues thus far) Please do not whine if something does not work, instead explain what is not working, use screenshots if possible (menu+volume down) and let me know if you can replicate the issue.

My only question is "why?"

1. A lot of people have been having problems with MIUI Releases hotfixes come out but do not get added to the roms.
2. A lot of people use launcher pro along with MIUI this saves them a step
3. People don't like ads, especially not ones that take up half of the screen on certain websites.
4. MIUI is a testing rom, by removing/replacing the broken applications and aspects of the rom people can have a stable, minimal MIUI.
5. I am bored, seriously this is a big reason. I decided to get bored and start customizing a rom to my liking, I feel others may like it as well... some will some will not.
6. Some people that I personally know have had friends of theirs root there phone and install a rom for them and were uncomfortable using recovery to flash hotfixes so their friends (usually me) than hotfix the phones, update it to the way they want, etc... its a time waster to have to do updates after every new update to MIUI this one will be updated after all the hotfixes for the roms are out.
7. Why not?

Thank you! I love this rom

TBH, I've never tried MIUI on the Inc. It used to be my rom of choice on my Nexus One. So I had no idea that all these apps were broken, so that makes sense to remove them. But why remove the notifications? That;s what threw me off.

Just the notification tones. I find most people use custom tones. I will most likely release a version without them removed.

I know this is kind of noob question but I'm going to ask anyway. Can you change themes like other Miui roms? Thank you for your time.

Yes you can

I leave miui and all of a sudden there are people releasing miui roms for the Incredible. Where was everyone when I was asking for help cuz I was getting burnt out with weekly releases?
Good job tho...
When I return to miui (maybe when they move to gingerbread) I hope people don't disappear

I actually started this while you were working on 12.18 I think it was, didn't have enough time to get it all sorted out before the 12.24 release, which I found too buggy to work with. 12.31 is great though!
It seems like everyone is releasing very stock roms though. I am trying to slim them down a bit and give MIUI noobs a place to start.
You are a hero to us all n_i_x!

Thank you embrace for your hard work.and yes, nix please come back.i love the incredible dev community.

Alarm clock?
Just curious why you removed the clock app? There is no way to set an alarm without it right (short of downloading another alarm app of course)?
I like the minimialist design, but personally I would like to have that + the ringtones (or at least some option besides the obnoxious 'rave' one.)

Thanks a lot for this Gimpeh!
Tired of all the crap running in background and wasting memory and cpu. Rooted and was going to use Titanium or Root Explorer to kill the crap, but yours looks a more organised method.
Will apply it tonight when home and see how it goes.

That's actually the point of most of these ROMS. Provide a fast & stable base to work from. Everything you wanted/used is available in the Market. Just add back the things YOU want (and thus none of the stuff you didn't use in the first place).
good fast rom. nice to have options. I too am looking forward to obsidian but its not here yet so i say lets play with whats here. who knows i might not like obsidian i have no idea so i'll try all that come out and hopefully learn some things along the way. Thanks for the rom

[ROM][AOSP] Lithium NG (next generation) v0.0.5 *Official Thread*

I would like to make this the official Lithium NG thread as I'm on the dev team. I will be handling the xda thread. Follow me @luniz7 and I will RT this thread when it is updated. Do NOT contact me on twitter for issues with Lithium NG, use @LithiumMod instead.
What is Lithium Mod?
Lithium Mod was originally derived from the ROM Kangerade made by JRummy16.
What is Lithium NG?
Lithium NG (Next Generation) is a new ROM developed from AOSP source. We have borrowed bits and pieces from other respected developers (mainly cvpcs and cyanogenmod) but always make sure to give credit where credit is due. The end result is a stable, blazing fast AOSP ROM with a sleek look and minimal bloat.
Whats different from other Vanilla ROMs?
Focus on reducing footprint (minimal bloat), and sleek stock themes (at least we think so )
What features are included in Lithium NG?
Currently, we have a LithiumMod Options app. Inside the app are the following options: Bash Environment, Block Ads, Dock Desk, Dock Car.
Under the tweaks section is the ability to change the LCD Density and Disable or Re-enable JIT.
A lot of the members of Lithium Mod are themers so there will be a lot of available themes in due time.
Team Lithium Mod consists of JRummy16, ronx, jdlfg, CaptJager, userdelroot, and myself-luniz7.
On to the good stuff.
Get Lithium NG v0.0.5 on ROM Manager in the Free Section under Lithium Mod. The default theme has had an overhaul (blue-ish), and an optional (red-ish) theme is available as an option when installing via ROM Manager.
Or if you dont have ROM Manager get Lithium NG v0.0.5 HERE

Been using this Rom since it came out(like my every day Rom). This Rom is one of the best ASOP Rom I have run on My Incredible. Very stable and super fast, and one of the best life span for my Battery. Keep up the good work been using Lithium Roms since day 1. The only thing that bugs me is like any other ASOP Rom, you can't attach a ring tone to a text that you download from your SD card. The only option you get is one from the stock ring tones. Any solutions or programs out their for this problem. It is a pain in the butt to switch Roms just to send a text with a ring tone.

[ROM] Geared Romage v.02 (WIP)

This is my first attempt at Rom development. After flashing many Roms from great developers here on XDA I have decided to try my hand at it. I'm sure you might ask what's different about this Rom compared to others you have already used. All I can say is this, I have taken the elements that I have grown to love from my favorite Roms and Themes and baked it into something I can be happy with. I hope you will be happy too!
-This is a work in progress-
Everything is not quite what I want yet, I still have a ways to go.
Link is in 2nd post!
Here is what I have so far
I am working on converting all green elements to red- not quite there yet but close.

So I was just thinking and the notifications will probably be a little too "filled" with the recent apps there too. I personally use my phone alot while im usb tethering and more stuff pushing the notifications downward would be very annoying to me. Just a little thought i had.

How is it working so far?
Nice ROM, I Haven't Installed It Yet. But I Have Two Questions:
1. Can We Change The Font In Your ROM Into The System Default?
And Two
2. Can We Change The Battery Icon? I Personally Don't Like The Number Percentage On The Battery.
Other Than That, I Like The Look Of Your ROM, Good Job!
I Went Ahead And Installed The ROM Last Night, Overall Quick And Snappy ROM.
The Only Things That I Didn't Like Was The Themed Market, Also It May Just Be Me But My Battery Drained Pretty Quickly On This ROM Which I Found Strange. Not Sure Why.
Other Than That, Great And Snappy ROM. I Look Forward To Seeing What You Cook Up Next For This ROM
I am working on a Theme port atm so that is why I have been so slow for an update. You should see this Theme this weekend as long as I can get the original Themer to reply with a go ahead permission. I am also working on some new updates to this Rom so hopefully if all goes well you should see an update to it as well.

I made the very basic for this so far I will take requests as well. There will eventually be a MM for all of the icons. They will only change the ones on your desktop but not in the menu. So enjoy. Dinik is the creator of Valeria. I just made an addon pack for him and now I am making some for android. All credit for Valeria goes to Dinik. Don't use his work for anything without his permission. Don't cook in my icons of his in any other rom without my permission and/or Dinik's permission.

Thanks mate!
Reserve post # 4 for later.
Looking forward to some screen shots my friend. Nice to see another addition.
Thanks mate. Give me like 20 min. Then it will be all yours...
thanks iw as looking to playing around with a new rom tonight. this one will be it.
Uploading a mirror now guys...
Mirror is uploaded. Enjoy guys! I will check in later!
Flashing now. Will post up initial thoughts tomorrow.
First impression is "Wow" Very smooth. Trying to get used to the Z Roms. I miss the power control in the pull down, but I like the skin option, and especially the carbon skin.,
I do like the recent apps in the pull down, but when using the power control widget, it of course isn't themed to match the carbon rosie. Just a small pet peeve of mine, but I am not smart enough to fix it!
I wish someone could figure out how to mod the Rosie for these Z Roms.
Nice Work. Thanks.
Sounds good mate!
I am working on the themes with another guy and I am trying to work on some mods so please keep that in mind... Report on any issues. I look forward to your feedback...
Cheers,
Shokouhi

What do you want to change in the rose? It can be modded just like any other sense Rom.

this rom sounds tasty
i think i may give it a go when i can "risk" not havin my phone for a few hours...
2 questions though - since i'm probably going to use launcherpro - is there much to really gain with a "z" rom?
guess i really dont knkow much about the z roms, googling info soon though lol...
i'm going to run it for an afternoon either way, just curious cause the senseless version of RR is rockin reallly good right now, cant think of much else i'd gain (thanks lou
kindof a part 2, but is the z rom "present" in rosie/sense only? i'm thinkin lp probably will mask most of the rom
How about your "fixes"? are you planning on needing a "full" wipe flash? cause honestly i dont mind resetting all my phone... but would be nice if i plan on doing a nandroid and actually going through ALL my settings agian lol
but hey, rom looks good - look forward to giving it a go
i would like to say thanks in advance for sharing your work

Well mate I did not mean it that way at all. Correction I am working with Wes. LOL!
Now with fixes I will work on that and look into that. I will get those things rolling as soon as possible but they do take time. Therefore enjoy the rom in the mean time. I think most would agree not only is the Z rom serious eye candy but it is optimized for speed. IncDoes did an amazing job with the port. With the cooked in kernal from Chad you can get quadrant speeds of 1700-1775 or so from our tests. So you be the judge.
Read all the post and had to try out. So for so good. Was sluggish on first start-up but after restart is nice and fast. Nice job.

I am glad you are enjoying the rom mate. They will only continue to get better from this point on. I am sorry it was sluggish at first. I tested a few times flashing and did not experience that at all. I will monitor the thread and see if that continues to be an issue for other users.
I think it was that I was setting up all my accounts and updating programs. I really like your Rom and it will be on my inc for awhile.

The kingdom and shooter are, which is part of this rom. Haven't had a ghost call yet
Let us know if it does happen, and we'll add te script to fix it.
In the words of Bart Scott CAN'T WAIT!...to flash this lol. Looks amazing. Downloading now. Will report regularly.
Awesome! Great work on this ... I can't wait to flash. A few questions:
1) Were you able to reduce the RAM usage somehow? On the other 3.0 ROMS, I often get the HTC Sense Loading screening when backing out of apps and I understand it's due to not having enough RAM on our Incredible.
2) Any mods planned for this? For instance, transparency, batt percent, etc?
Thanks again!

I've been really quiet on the forums but I've been switching back and forth between Synergy/Kingdom and now this one. I'll post back after flashing with some of the issues (if any) I find.
First off newtoroot, HUGE thanks for all the work you do making our phones awesome! I don't mean this to be criticism at all toward you or any other developers, your work is greatly appreciated.
It just seems that there have been so many ROM's the past 2-3 weeks, that the developers have started and moved on to other projects as different leaks or whatever have come out.
I'm currently on your Optimized Shift ROM, and have had pretty good results, good enough to use it as a daily. Which direction do you feel these ROM's will be heading in the next month, more development in the 2.1/3.0 arena or heading to pure 3.0 as this ROM?
Great job guys, am downloading now. Keep up the great work!

good question man and ill be glad to answer.... now optimized gingersense was my first ginger rom and i started experimenting with 3.0 on it but i decide to do the following Optimized gingersense is going to be all sense 2.1..... Optimized shift will be a mix of 3.0 and 2.1..... and this rom will be all 3.0. they will all be updated as i see fit and have the time for. now my more popular roms will be updated often, but i can promise they all will

Okay so I did your typical full-wipe coming from the 6-5 Kingdom Release 1.1...booted up and go the following pop up:
"SYSTEM UIDs Inconsistent"
Wipe Data Partition or your device will be unstable
With a feeling lucky button???
This looks awesome!

I get "Error" when trying to turn on WiFi. And on the lockscreen and status bar it always says "Looking for service". Anyone else? Wiped the heck out of everything.
