?? the rgb565 is in the 7z attached to the post. use fastboot to flash it. requires s-off. if you dont know how to use fastboot to flash these read the OP, there is a link to a tutorial.

Yes, put in root of sd and flash and your good to go..............
I flashed this file, and after a very long boot I have this wonderful clock. Thank you for your time. Worked on Fresh 2.3.2.

I used root explorer to copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media/. Make sure to make a copy of the existing bootanimation.zip just in case you need to restore.

Please let me know if you get this working for the G2x. I installed this on my G2x and it did in fact work except that when you select your MMS recipient it would FC, otherwise it seemed to work fine
