Finally got the Ghost Armor skins in at the kiosks. Beats the hell out of Zagg protectors. Full body and screen only are both available. Mine is super shiny now!

Looks like exactly the same thing as Invisible Shield to me. What's the difference?
I've owned both Ghost Armor and Zagg on many different devices. I've found that Zagg has a rubbery feel and yellows out in about 6 months or so. No such problems on my Nexus One that has been covered in Ghost Armor since I got it a month after it was released.
My MacBook Pro, Nexus One, and Nexus S are all Ghost Armored. Next up is my Nook Color.
Various pics of my Nexus S in Ghost Armor. Some of the pics are a little dusty. This is about 24 hours after it was done. No bubbles or "orange peeling." I'm pleased.

edit: These were taken with my Nexus One
Interesting. I'll be curious to see how my Invisible Shield looks at that time.
It's definately better than nothing. I haven't tried the BSE pretoectors yet either but I hear people like them. I still think the Ghost Armor is smoother, but still has the non slip surface I want.
The one for my MacBook is full body, including the trackpad. If it was covered with Zagg I would have been driven bonkers weeks ago because of the slight rubbery feel.
Blue Acid,
Looking at your pics, it looks like Ghost Armor doesn't have the same texture as the InvisibleShields ("orange-peel" texture). Is this true?
I'm debating between these and Clarivue, which I believe has a slick texture vs. rubbery/friction.
How do these screen protectors work with swype?

Does anyone know where I can buy Ghost Armor in the UK?? Is there a UK site that sells Ghost Armor products?
They have a site but don't sell the matte version I want. Had it on my evo and it was sweet... just google ghost armor

It is much smoother than Zagg. Haven't tried any other protectors other than Zagg and Ghost Armor.
GA is almost as smooth as the glass itself. At certain angles you can see the slight ripples of the protector but you can't feel it.
My roommates both have Vibrants with GA and they handle Swype just fine.

Granted, it'd fairly cold out and in my house as well but how long did it take for your skin to fully dry? I'm still getting a little screen door and some bubbles on the case battery door. Love the fit but my touch screen is a little unresponsive. Seems my back button especially has this issue. I didn't use the phone for about 8 hours after I installed this. It seems great quality and it feels so much better than the zagg. I'm hoping my back button didn't just start acting up. On my 5th nexus here.

Mine was bubble free and done the same day. Gave it 24 hours to firm up fully. The Ghost Armor people have a machine they use to heat the whole skin up so the bubbles are gone immediately.
Does it cover the gloss black rim around the front of the phone?

Mind posting pictures? I've been reading about issues with smudges and such and I decided I'd do some research into screen protectors. I had one on my Epic but it was the Zagg one and it felt crappy. I like the feel of the smooth glass but I do understand that I can't expect one to be that perfect but from what I'm reading this would be my best shot.
Bump for pictures hehe

Does anyone else's screen protector have dust collecting under the spot where the screen curves down into the bezel? its above the speaker grille and also below the capacatives.
I ordered a zagg and I'm hoping that it doesn't also do the same thing.
Has anyone come across a screen protector that doesn't suck/ do this?

Well im on my third zagg invisible shield, the previous two where not a perfect fit. Thats why they where also collecting dust at the bottom part where the keys are. Te third one ive ordered of their site and its much better fit for my nexus. There is no dust under it after more than two months of use.

Good, I just ordered one from Zagg and hopefully it fits like yours does.
I have an Xtreme Guard (here) and I don't have this problem. Fits perfectly.
My Nexus S came with a Zagg already installed, and yeah, I kinda hate it. I'm too lazy to order another one and put it on, so I'll deal. I was just wondering if anyone's screen has an orange tint to it? I just got the phone (3 days), and when I put it next to my Captivate, the Captivate's screen is much more vivid and has no orange tint to it. Is this because of Zagg? It fits very well, by the way.
Well i have slcd i9023 version, and its colors are still like before. I agree that the texture is a bit getting used to but when you do it doesnt really bother you. And on the plus side the annoying fingerprints are greatly reduced.

I have SGP steinheil ultra oleophobic and fits perfect. No non-sticky parts, neither dust under the protector.
Previously i had a case mate protector and it caught all the dust of the surroundings down the protector in the corners

yeah, the texture doesn't bother me, as long as there's no air bubbles, which won't be the case because I'm hoping that it comes with the solution and squeegee instead of the static cling method

Anybody have on on their Nexus S 4G? If so how has it held up? I have the Skinomi full body on my SGSII and it has a very distinct orange peel look to it and gets damaged by my fingernails or any hits it takes...
I figure for $8 it can't be that bad..
I have it and I love mine. Pretty much every skin of this type has orange peel but I think this has less than zagg.

I'm about to post a review on a case which has some pictures so you might be able to see the orange peel, but my camera is bad..
I've had BSE for about 9 months and I love it. It's protected the phone very well from the couple times I've dropped it on a marble floor, so I think the shock protection is worth the minimal cost alone. Orange peel effect is minimal as well compared to Zagg and Ghost Armor. I'm about to order another full body skin, because a couple corners are finally starting to come up. Highly recommend.

Thought I'd post an update here. I actually dropped my phone on pavement from about 4 feet today. Fortunately the BSE did its job and the device came out without a scratch. Just the protector was scuffed a bit in two corners and started coming up a bit. Thankfully, I ordered a full replacement a few days ago. Definitely happy with the protection offered by this product.

I got mine 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love them. It is way better than the Skinomi. I can barely tell that the back has a skin on it.
I have been using BSE for years. I tried skinomi on my NS just to try something else.... took it off a week later for a new BSE.
I have 8 android phones and two tablets covered in BSE... love it.

I use BSE for all my android devices. Love it.
with BSE, I also agree it has the least orange peel affect, but I believe it's one of the thinner screen protectors. once something gets dented into it (like keys), it stays there forever from my experience. I currently have zagg and even when something dents it, it'll "heal" itself after awhile.
for 8 bucks though, BSE is definitely best bang for the buck. I use zagg for the screen (I got it discounted) and BSE for the rest of the body
Hey everyone, was just curious to know if you have tried out the Tech Armor HD screen protectors for our Note 2's? I ordered some from amazon seeing as they were prime eligible and go for under $7.00 I thought I would give them a shot. I'm glad I did. Installation was very simple and covers the entire screen. No orange peel effect or any kind of screen distortion added benefit too is that it doesn't feel like it's there. Keep in mind that you also can barely tell that the screen protector is on there unless you look at where the proximity and ambient light sensors are. I will post pictures soon. One downside is that it does tend to smudge a little but cleaning with micro fiber cloth quickly eliminates that. Also if not aligned correctly the edges will lift due to the curved glass display. Just thought I would give people a heads up on a cheap screen protector that works great.

I posted some pictures of these in the screen protectors thread. The cut is too close to the edges. I put a TPU case on after getting one installed almost perfect and it peeled the screen protector right up.

Usually I use Phantom skin or skinomi but I got this as well cause it was prime eligible. It's a dry install and it is one of my favorite screen protectors. It is a truly a glass feel. I highly recommend it. I agree with the op that it does get smudges pretty easy. Does anyone know a screen protector just like this one but supposedly a better quality.
It's a dry install

Another thing I forgot to mention was that the spen doesn't scratch or leave indentations on the protector too.

Tech armor is basically Ghost Armor. I've been using them since my Vibrant GS. Very good screen protectors. They have kiosks at my mall.

I have had a tech armor screen protector since day 1 on my phone and I have to say I am super impressed with it. There are no bubbles at all and the anti-glare and anti-fingerprint is great. Somebody mentioned smudges and it does leave some smudges, but they come right off if you wipe it. The only gripe I have with it was that the screen protector was starting to come up near the home button because the very bottom of it is very skinny, so it's hard to really get it perfect. I took small scissors and just cut that small part out and it has been great since. I've had it on for 2 months and still looks great!
I would definitely recommend tech armor to anyone looking for a screen protector because of the high quality and this is prime eligible on Amazon!
I've had JLG, SGP, and 2 different Glass SP's on both of my Note 2's and I got some cheap Tech Armor HD protectors to tide me by while I was waiting on a replacement MIME protector. Tossed them on both the Notes and gotta say I was very very impressed, especially for the price. I don't think it has quite as slick of a feel as the other "premium" protectors that are 3-4 times more expensive but if you are looking for an edge to edge screen protector, look no further! This thing covers serious real estate. Like previously mentioned, you must take care in initial alignment or it just won't work.
Tech Armor is the best dry skin protector. I have used Ismooth and I am very disappointed with the product. I like how tech Armor covers the whole front of the screen.
Can you guys send me a link, All I see is the screen protector is for a S3. Unless it fits for the note 2 too. Thanks in advance guys!

What are the best options for screen protectors right now? Has anyone tried the spigen ultra crystal for the g2, i have had good experiences with them in the past. I know that with my galaxy nexus the glass was curved so much that a normal screen protector couldn't fit across the entire screen and the wet apply screen protectors were a mess and looked horrible. Does the g2 have the same problem?
I was wondering the same thing. Anyone bought a screen protector they're happy with? Not a big fan of the wet application type
I used one of the wet application ones from Phantom Skinz (sp?) on my Nexus. It worked so well that I plan on ordering one for the G2.
I actually got the ones from T-Mobile and was quite surprised on how much I like them! They are a dry application, very easy to install, not sticky at all (feel very much like the natural surface before the screen protector), and what I like most...very, very clear and fingerprint and smudge resistant. The only downside is they are a little bit more than I usually spend on screen protectors, $17 for 2.

Wow that seems like a good sign, the best screen protector is one that you can't tell is on the phone. I'm curious, how much of the screen does it cover and do you have any pictures of it installed that you could share?
I got the only one that AT&T stocked. It's a glossy as opposed to an anti glare but the fit and finish is spot on and I can't even tell it's there. Very pleased.
/except for the glossy part
I picked up a few screen protectors from xtreemguard .com. pretty much the same thing as best skins ever. Used code fall80 for 80 percent off. Order was 3 bucks for shipping and two screen. Shipping was fast. Not amazing but definitely the best under $10.
I'm currently rocking the XOSkins wet application screen protector and like it so far.

I have the iloome flex tempered glass screen protector on order so I picked up the Supershieldz off ebay (6 for $5 shipped) as a hold over. They're dry application, fit well, and have decent clarity. Probably not terribly different from most plastic films, but man it hazes up from fingerprints like nothing else. I cleaned it off today with rubbing alcohol and it has already picked up some mild scratches. Guess you cant expect too much for less than a buck per screen protector.

I use the Spigen Ultra Crystal. My third phone whith them. Would not use any other. It actually seems just a tad small but I guess that leaves room for a case. It leaves about an 1/8 of an inch around the sides.
I use to pay the big money for ZAGG. When I bought my G2 (9/12) there wasn't anyone that had screen protectors, so I bought the 3 pack from VZW. I still have the first one on, and no issues. Paid like 10 bucks. It works fine for me.

Well this time I just tried a bit different.... its not Zagg one...its not Spigen..but this time I tried Privacy at Fommy.....
heard a lot about it from one of my friend and after wearing it on my G2.. I can say that the thing it says..it delivers..now I can easily check out my official mails at crowded place and am not worried about the guys standing around me as its not visible to them..that is something I really like about it and moreover it is very finely gripped on the phone and does not even give the feel as If I have placed something on the screen.....I know its quite new one but I am liking this product...

I'm looking for a good case for the Note 4 I am waiting for to arrive.
As of now I have a Note 2 using the UAG hard case.. What are some suggestions y'all have for a case for the Note 4?? I prefer a "slimmer" design, but one with good protection. OtterBox is just too big and bulky for my taste.. I would also like to know what y'all think about screen protection.. We all know the DIY screen protection film, but what's everyone's opinion and experience with the "adhered" glass protectors, a stand alone or included with a case... Hope this makes sense.. Also hope this is in the right section, I tried "Accessories" but the forum was blank and gave me a error.

I spent a whole 7.55 each off 2 cases with swivel belt clips off ebay. Anyone who pays more than $20 for a case just isnt very bright. I dont need slim or flashy, i need protection and durability. Did the same with my nexus 5, never cracked a screen. I dont use a protector. If i drop my phone, it bounces. This case is gantastic. Its a generic 3 piece hybrid with belt clip. Yeah, I ended up buying a Caseology and the tempered glass screen protector.. The tempered glass should do me great, working on cars day in and day out really takes a toll on the flimsy screen protectors. With everyday use it gets pretty dull quickly since I can't always wash and sanitize my hands before responding to a text, etc.. My past 2 phones I've used the UAG cases and they're great, but I'm ready for a change in look. Thought about getting one if the cases (forgot which one exactly) that the guy Flossy on YouTube reviews. It was all aluminum, gold finish, bezel and back for the phone, looked so damn nice. Where he lost me though was when he said he lost a bar or 2 of reception. Still might buy one also anyway cuz it was pimpin LOL.
