Hi again ...
I "modified" this application for my personal use with the intention of integrating the sense interface style.
You Can Create labels with a long home shortcuts click on your Android home with sense interface, you can set your labels, save and import settings, change icons (sense original an other icons) to the labels, set bookmarks, multilanguage support, and more.
I hope you like it and enjoy
NOTE: Only tested on 480 x 800 dpi
Donations:
Donations are welcome. I don't do this for money, but feel free to donate if you find my work useful.
NOTE: This application is free and can be downloaded from the market, the changes that I make are not with any purpose of profit ... I do not need
MOD EDIT: To post modified apps here at XDA, you must:
1) Give the title of the original app
2) Give credit to the original dev

Hey me again. I just have one suggestion so far: I've noticed that when I open an app from one of the ' folders' (like Starred Apps for example), the folder doesn't automatically close when you go back to the home screen. So it would be cool if you could fix that, thanks again for the great app

works on my Vibrant. this app is freakin sweet.thnx
Very nice app man! It's what i was looking for weeks!
Thankyoouuu!!
thank you verry much!!!!!!
ich love this app!!
great app,one thing though, could you please make the icons for the folders appear at the same height as the normal sense ones? For example the internet icon from your app is a bit higher placed on the screen than the normal sense one.
Edit: Found the bug, if you add the folders to homescreen from within the application the icons are placed jsut right,if you add them from android homescreen they appear missplaced.
And one mroe thing, how to i add bookmaks?
Works great with my htc wildfire!
Thanks man!
can u make an option to remove the name of the label i like to just see the icon with no name under it
thanks a lot for this useful app.installed for 3 days.it is so great.
I have AppsOrganizer 1.0 installed. When trying to install this app, it asks me to uninstall appsorganizer. Is this the same app maybe?
The name for AppsOrganizer is com.google.code.appsorganizer
Great on desire hd! However the sense style graphics you added are slightly blurry

Ok cool... only down side is if you use something like apps organizer (like I do) which creates shortcuts to app groups. You cant put one down there cause, although it uses shortcuts, they are not in the app drawer.
We (myself and energizerpanda) are proud to present you an icon pack (150 x 150 px) based on Symbian Anna. Some of the icons were taken from a system dump, and some of them were self-made.
The current pack has several icons, but feel free to post which icons do you miss, and we will try to create them.
Changelog:
05/07/11 - First release !
17/07/11 - Added icons for: Evernote, eBook Reader, Winamp, Cozi, Pocket Informant, Waze, Folder Organizer
Screenshot:

Don't forget to express your opinion !

Looks great, gonna check them out when I get home from work!
Very nice icon pack! I searched the theme you based it on & downloaded those as well. Going through them to see which I'd use normally & which more important (to me) ones are missing.
Going to use some generics now (generic Twitter instead of Plume), but can you provide icons for:
eBook Reader (I use 3 readers, so anything you'd like for now)
Cozi (attaching image)
Pocket Informant
Waze
Since I don't see good generics for them. Very happy to add these to my icon collection since I tend to change icons every few months!
Edit: Regarding attachments, please use the the 3 little loops tings on Cozi (not the text), and likewise the little car for Waze. Actually, for Waze, may be better modeling off the icon I see on the appbrain page (http://www.appbrain.com/app/waze:-community-gps-navigation/com.waze)
We will update the pack as soon as they're done.
Sorry but how do I install these?
Copy the icons to your phone and download Desktop Visualizer from the market.
Thanks for sharing
Here are the requested icons by polstein.
I tested them on my phone and they look fine.
For the moment I can't add them to the pack but you will get them soon enough!
How can i resize them to 72x72(HDPI) without losing its quality ?

A number of different ways. Most common as mentioned is Desktop Visualizer. That's a widget that lets you pick an app/shortcut & use a custom icon. It also has an advantage that you can have it point to an generically named icon - then you can replace the icon, reboot & DV will show the new image. Very useful if you change icons every couple of months for fun!
(also why you might see me on several threads requesting the same icons over & over again
An easier way might be to use an app called Folder Organizer, which also allows you to change icons & text labels.
Advanced people can modify the apk of the install & change the icon, but has some drawbacks that go along with it. But it's also the only way I know of to change an icon everywhere (like in recent apps lists).
--
I see the new icons I asked for, they look very nice. I especially like the textured background on Informant. How many icons did you want to crank out? I always hate overloading designers, but if you're willing I'll keep handing out requests!
Keep on requesting. Don't forget to thank energizerpanda for his hard work. I am only with the organization and researching.

Looking good, downloading now!
can someone please make an lp pack out of these?
thanks for the hard work, always loved the anna icons
@cavihit - We're working on making a LauncherPro pack but we have to add more icons.
Latest icons:
Please help me with your opinion about these icons because I need to know if I can add them to the pack.
Icons look good! So far the only one I'm not thrilled with is Waze (more because of their cartoony look that doesn't match the rest of the set).
Something I noticed last night when I replaced some of the generic icons in favor of the correct app icon: Some of the original generics look better anyway!
F'instance, I was using the 'carhome' icon instead of Waze, but I think I'm switching back to carhome.
Another example is generic Music vs Winamp (currently on Winamp). Still another is Calendar vs Informant (currently using Calendar!)
Now in a couple cases I needed the specific app (like Cozi, and there wasn't an eBook one).
Of course, best of all worlds for me is to have options & change them when the mood strikes
I'm making every icon for its specific app. (If you use the Calendar app then you should use the generic icon found in the pack)
I hope you all understand that I try to create icons that are not in the pack and not to replace the generic icons. (Only if requested)
@polstein - Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm gonna post new icons when finished so please test them and reply!
Hi all,
It's been about 15 months since I last used my Toshiba TG01 but my HTC Desire recently died and I'm back to the world of WM for now.
Anyway,
I used to make the occasional theme for Wisbar Advance Desktop (WAD) and thought I'd have a go at making an Ice Cream Sandwich Android based theme (portrait only) to use. It's fairly simple, but I like it, so I thought I'd share it.
Features:
- 3 Homescreens
- ICS clock widget
- Weather widget
- Calendar widget
- Pull-down notification bar (like android) giving latest SMS info, next appointment info as well as BT and WIFI toggles
To install:
1) extract the contents of the attached .rar archive
2) Install Mortscript
3) Go to \Program Files\Mortscript and tap the yellow mortscript icon
4) Copy the folder 'Message2Reg' to \Program Files
5) Copy the 'Messages' folder to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs
6) Install Ice cream sandwich.wadesktop (when asked where to, choose \Program Files\Lakeridge\Wisbar Advance Desktop\Themes)
To enable theme:
1) Ensure WAD is running
2) Tap and hold screen - choose 'change theme' from popup menu
3) If this theme is not listed, press menu then scan for themes
4) Once this theme is listed, tap it to highlight it, press menu then set as portrait theme
That should be all done.
Optionally, install Winstart to replace the usual WM start menu as I feel it provides a nicer experience and scrolls smoother etc.
Anyway, hope you like the theme.
Regards

Hi there,
So I updated the theme a little bit, nothing major.
What's new?
1) Data connection indicator in status bar - grey shows connection available and goes blue when connection is in use (see pic 2). Unfortunately it cannot specify G/E/3G/H etc.
2) Calendar widget. Tap anywhere on the calender to launch the calendar app, tap the arrows to change months.
3) Weather widget. Save the attached medium weather icons wherever you want and go into WAD settings to direct the medium weather icon set to that filepath. Then change WAD settings to whatever location you want weather info for and add a weather icon (medium) size to the same page as the weather widget and drag the icon over the widget.
4) Added next calendar appointment info to pull-down notification bar.
I think that's everything
Regards

Quick info for masrterk; If you are looking for someone who can do magic with SPB MS is MR.Skippen but I think he is out of the game. You should even try.
Have you seen LeSScro's version of ICS for WAD? It's quite nicely done. You might take a look at it if you haven't seen his.

This theme is just great!
I would use it on my i900 (WQVGA 240x400).. but since my phone is so old now... Is there a chance to get this theme on my resolution? Or I could simply adapt it myself, but I don't know how, except for the image files? I quite used wad2 until now, so I don't think it could be that hard.
Thanks!

I don't have a WQVGA device to test it on, so I couldn't really make the theme for your resolution but by all means, feel free to do so yourself
As the resolution is 50% of the size of WVGA, I would have thought that you could probably just take all the image files from the theme, make them 50% smaller then put them back on the phone, overwriting/in place of the original image files. After that it should just be a case of re-positioning everything so the spacing is ok for your screen.
Maybe it's not so simple, I don't really know, but good luck!!

Just changed from ADW to Launcher7 for the default homescreen and its perfect. Disable animations and you've got nice big easy to read icons for the 6 or so apps that anyone would typically use on a NST.
Agree, but I do find myself wasting a lot of time making transparent white icons for all my apps.

Thanks! Hadn't heard of this before. Definitely like it for my Nook Simple Touch.
Took a little time to tweak the font colors, tile pictures, etc. But I now have a simple clean interface with only a handful of tiles: Amazon Kindle, Nook Library, FBReader, Gmail, Amazon Appstore, and Android Market.

Sorry for the late response. I've been on holiday. Here are the icons in case you still want them:
I am currently using ADW, and I would like to try Launcher 7, but I cant seem to find Launcher 7 on my nook... When using the search market app, I can find all sorts of themes for go launcher but not launcher 7. I can find it when searching on my laptop. does this have to be sideloaded? Or can you get it through the market on the nook when connected wirelessly?
EDIT: Got it downloaded with some file juggling, seems ok so far...
so how can i set launcher7 as my default home? i try after pressing N and i only have the option for relaunch or [nook] home.
ideally i'd like tiles in this order (all 1x1)
-------------------------------------------------
| |
[Nook]Home | Library |
| |
----------------------------------------------------
| |
Glowlight | Search |
| |
----------------------------------------------------
| |
Relaunch | Settings |
| |
-----------------------------------------------------
however i cannot seem to add a tile for [Nook] Home, or make launcher7 the default home app
Nook touch tools and home manager for both issues.

Hello. I am using NST Rooted 1.2.1. No exactly been able to change settings to enable the working of launcher7 as the default page on boot. Nook Touch Mod manager doesnt have an option for the same.
two more questions
Hi, Launcher7 looks really cool so I am trying it out.
Ran into two problems:
1- I can't seem to change the tile icons (from the ones that some generous users linked). I try to change the picture from 'image on sdcard' but my gallery is blank. How do I add the PNG files so that they show up in the gallery?
2- Is there a way to create a tile that simulates the upper left (book) button on the nook-status bar? (The button that brings you back to the page book you last read). I think it would be awesome to have a large tile just for that button, since I only read one book at a time.
Thanks for any help!

You don't use gallery. I use Total Commander instead. Install it, then you'll be asked to choose the default app for the task, and choose the commander. Also you could use any other file manager.

Yes, just choose the reader.apk as the app. I only guess it works (as the upper left), because I use CoolReader instead.

Hello guys..
I just made a good looking theme of Sword Art Online.
This theme is compatible with Gingerbread and up.
The tools you need to make this are:
SS launcher the original
SAO Widget
They're both can be get from Play Store. :fingers-crossed:
ATTENTION
This is not a custom launcher to give you SAO appearance. This a theme for SS Launcher to give you a feature of SAO appearance.
Why SS Launcher?
To make this theme works on every OS from Gingerbread and up, SS launcher is the closest launcher to make it possible.
If you're ready, here are the steps
It is a quite long step, but it is not difficult...
- First, install both of SS launcher and SAO widget
- Then download the attachment I've prepared for you guys. The file contains my SAO theme package and the wallpaper.
- Now open the SS launcher, press settings button from your phone, and delete all the desktop page (just press the trash icon), except one page called Home.
- delete all widget on the home screen.
- Next, extract the "SAO - Qijos" and put the "SAO by Qijos.zip" in a folder.
- In the SS launcher home, press settings, and then press 'theme', then choose 'load theme'.
- Choose the "SAO by Qijos.zip". If it appears a notification to clear template and other stuffs, click Yes.
- Now press the settings button, and then press "New Page" to create several more pages. It will come like this
1. Make a page named "2" as cover page, click OK.
2. Make a page named "3" as cover page, click OK.
3. Make a page named "ap" as application drawer, check the 'hide' click OK.
4. Make a page named "4" as cover page, click OK.
5. Make a page named "5" as cover page, click OK.
- Now you have 6 pages in total. Then go to home page, hold it at the center to make the menu pop up, then click Load a template
- choose the first template for that home page.
- then go to "2" page, hold again the center and choose the second template.
- go to "3" page, choose the third template.
- go to "4" page, choose the fourth template.
- go to "5" page, choose the fifth template.
Now you will end with 5 pages. Not yet to make it perfect..
for now,
- press settings button of your phone --> theme --> animations --> set speed to "0", Type = Rush, Effect = 5, then apply change.
- go back once, select the Pinboard Visibility, and uncheck App Drawer and App group. Go back to home page.
- press settings --> preferences --> set Orientation to portrait, check the Full Screen, check Keep Last Page, and check the Disable Swiping.
- Now the final step is, go to home page, hold the center and choose new widget.
- Choose the SAO self Hp Bar, adjust your settings, put to the top of your page.
- make another new widget, select SAO Teammate's Hp Bar.
now hold the SAO self HP bar, and select PIN
and also the SAO Teammate's Hp Bar, select PIN
Enjoy the elegant theme of SAO.. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
P.N.
If some of the menu doesn't work, it means the app is missing because between you and I might have different applications.

I made all the sub menu and some icons and also their calibration by my self.. I just save it to template list so when I have to share this, all of it will be saved..

Big Thumbs up! :good: Love this theme. ssLauncher is a very powerful launcher, and with this theme (which is already purely amazing), you have barely scratched the full potential that I see. Amazing Job.
By the way, some of the features that you use are only in the pro version. For example, no scroll and pinning a widget. Instead, I just made the widget on each screen. It is a memory hog, but whatever, its worth it!

First of all.. Thank u very much..
Yes.. Because to make it perfect,, it needs the Pro version of SS launcher.. And I only made the theme version without lack of features for the Pro version. But if needed, I will try to make another similar one for the Free SS launcher version...

First of all thank you very much.. Yes, it's the same for me for the first time. And then I try to make a theme that gives more elements SAOnized.
So I putted my idea to realize this theme that gives more power of SAO

That's come from the SAO widget.. It also happened to me sometimes..
If you use several Task Killers, set SAO widget as an exceptional from being killed, otherwise when you kill the task, the SAO widget may not work properly...
Moreover I believe the SAO widget still got some bug that made it doesn't work in perfect condition, so when the SAO widget developers update it with bug fix (I hope there will be), try it so the widget could work properly..

I have a SAO rainmeter skin for my computer been looking for one for my phone, this is perfect, thank you soo much for the layout. Is there a way to have the logout tab turn off the phone? Seems kinds dumb but I'd think it'd be cool.

Thanks for the comment...
Actually it is possible to make it that way... But I think it is not really necessary for users that want this theme that way, because they might accidentally turn off their phone from the launcher... XD
So, I just made the Logout tab into an application that turn off the screen.. But you're free to make it turn your phone off if you wish so...

I think there are apps that can do that, but you can also use custom build.prop.. but I never tried myself about making the build.prop...

Thanks for the advice, I'll try a few things to see if I can make it work. Love the theme, only one that stayed on my longer then a day.
