Where are the epub books stored in the NC? I checked out a few books and can see them in Adobe Digital Editions, but can't transfer them to my NC because my macbook isn't recognizing my NC when it's plugged in.

Anyone know of an eBook Reader for Adobe DRM PDFs? I tried using txtr, which seemed the most promising as it asks for an Adobe ID. It doesn't seem to work and I've tried all the suggestions of using the ADE on the PC to open the file on the tablet first, or upload to txtr.com and download.
I also tried Aldiko, which was listed in the Adobe Digital Editions compatible Ebook readers page, yet had no place to put in the Adobe ID.
Has anyone been successful in getting this to working on any reader? I'm trying to read Adobe DRM PDFs from the library.
I know Roebeet was working on the Pandigital Novel before this. Roebeet, is there an app that can be harvested from the firmware that could enable DRM PDFs?
Adobe EPub files work with Overdrive Media Console
Our Library uses the Overdrive service for eBooks. The marketplace has their new V2 Overdrive Media Console app which allows you to download ePub books directly to the Android. It's still uses a browser for your logins/checkouts but after choosing to download the Overdrive Media Console takes over and it's downloaded directly into the App.
So, this is an Android only, computer free mobile solution for Adobe DRM ePub files only, the pdfs still aren't supported by the Overdrive App. Too bad all books aren't offered in ePub format.
Title pretty much says it all. I have a bunch of .mobi books I would like to read on my Captivate, and both the Kindle app and the AEPReader don't seem to work. Thanks.
I had my whole library in .mobi format from my winmo phones. When I switched to android, I couldn't find a decent reader4 that could usae them. I just downloaded calibre and converted all of them to .epub and imported them into Aldiko reader.
Worked out fine for me. Aldiko is a nice reader.
My Nook is running software 2.2.1 and I use the Nova Launcher.
I can copy books from my PC to the Nook. However, when I go into Library they appear under My Files. I can open them from there.
However, If I try a Refresh it doesn’t put them into my Books folder within Library. I can open the books (pdf or epub) from My Files but I want them on Books, so that I can copy them into my own Shelves (it’s not possible to copy from My Files to a Shelf). Can anyone let me know how I can do this?
I know I could use Aldiko or Calibre but I like the Nook reader app and want to keep the Nook as standard as possible.

I've found the solution, should anyone have the same problem. I added the books (pdf and epub) into Calibre. I then copied the books from the Calibre folder to the Nook and they appear in Books!
I spoke with B&N tech support and was told that it is impossible to sideload ebooks to my nook. In the past, this was evidently possible. One of the reasons I bought the Nook was to be able to create a sideloaded library. Is it possible to sideload ebooks purchased from B&N or are there other ebooks that may be purchased that can be sideloaded.

You should be able to connect your Nook HD to your PC over USB and copy over your ebooks (e.g., epub files) to one of your user media content folders.

Does your Nook show up in Windows Explorer when you connect it to the PC via USB?

It is possible to sideload book's purchased from b and n if you remove the drm. google remove drm on nook books i would post a link but im not allowed to yet. i can also try to help.
For eBooks that you have already and are trying to add to your nook, i would try calibre. It's easy to send books to devices using it

Thanks!!! I was able to transfer epub files using your suggestion!
I'm using calibre and has several books there. I'm trying to move them into the Fire with USB.
I've send them to the device memory card but they aren't shown in the kindle books app. Do I need to refresh the list of books on the device?
