Hi,
When browsing these forums from the stock browser I noticed the following issue:
- unable to log in. You can enter the username and password, but pressing the login in button has no effect
- Page button sometimes work and sometimes does not.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

I actually have an issue that whenever I use the XDA app it forces me to re-login. Have the same app on my Droid X and don't have this problem. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing ? I didn't see anything obvious.
I have same issue with Tapatalk Pro...have to enter a password each login. Erased data with Titanium Backup to no avail. Wish that worked.
Same here. Asks for password every time on NC. On my EVO it works properly.

well, I'm having these issues, too. Who are the 'powers-that-be' that could be notified to see if we could get it resolved?

So I installed XDA-Developer Tapatalk for my NC in order to browse this forum. It's great except that whenever I leave the app. It "loses" the login info. and I have to enter it in again when I restart the program.
There also doesn't appear to be an option to save login/password when I first open the program. Anyone know what I'm missing here?
I can't tell you why it does not work but I can tell you that the full tapatalk pro app works fine and saves my login and favorites and such.
That's interesting. It shouldn't be a problem with XDA tapatalk b/c I have the same app running on my D2 with no login issues.
There iss indeed aa problem though. Both not tiring the credenntials and the back button completely exiting the program when you are reading a thread. Tapatalk works perfectly though.

Guys,
I am having this problem with Tapatalk pro. I can login to this site as an example, then reboot and come back to this site and I receive a login error, and have to login again.
Has anybody made any progress on identifying what the issue is?

Used to work for me till I installed market support, at which time Tapatalk started "forgetting" my password.
Perhaps that might help point to a culprit?
1. Which programs are affected by Enabling multitouch?
Should it enable pinch zooming in the browser? So far the only app i see it working on is Maps.
2. Whats a good browser replacement?
3. Is there a way to get the Xda app to remember your password. I seem to have to always manually sign in each time i go to a different app.
4. Does any1 have the calendar.apk handy?
Thanks

I believe it relates to apps which dont have it coded in, but support it... Im sorry its not that helpful but the classic browser works with it, but not without the enable where as firefox works by default.
I like firefox because it can sync with your firefox on your computer. This makes opening tabs you have open there open to you if you wish, and imports your bookmarks. This works for me since I can sync my phone/nook/pc all in 1 go.
I dont use it.
No sorry.
Wondering if any of you are experiencing this. I set the three NC forums (general, development, themes) as my favorites in my XDA app on my NC. Seems like most of the time I go into my favorites from the XDA app, it says "Connecting to server" and then just spins and spins and never gets anywhere. The only way I can get it to actually refresh is to back out of it and then hit refresh.
Any way to stop this? It's just annoying.

I also find the XDA app to be a bit quirky. At times it makes me log in and other times it doesn't. When it doesn't is when I tend to have the same problems you've mentioned. The only way I get around it is to hit the back arrow, then menu-refresh. No solutions - but glad it's not just me having issues.
Crashes for me every time I do a search. Aria with FR008 final

the login issue is so annoying. If you back out of the app completely you have to login and it throws up the admin doesnt allow this error. What i do is hit my nook button to get out of the app so the login stays active.
All the other issues described i was unable to recreate sorry :/

Same here.
In fact, the login issue happens on all devices when using the back button...

Yea, I'm glad you mentioned that. I checked with my husband last night and the app behaves the same way on his Samsung Galaxy.
It keeps starting up with google.com even if it's set to another page under setting. I already shut off all location based features (GPS, etc), but not sure if this relates.
Is there any fix on this or it's a common bug?
Set home page then shut down phone, then restart phone, it should load now.

Tried already. Actually, in the settings, it displays the url as the one I set as a homepage, but even that it will still load google.com when the browser is launched.
Everytime when going back to the browser, it will load a new window and go to google.com
Is there a file in the system's directory that can be deleted to clear the cache? Not sure if this is possible if the phone is not root.
Try clearing cache, history, etc. in the browser settings, then remove the battery, install battery and see if that works.

Still no help, already tried the following:
Cleared all cache, set browser to factory setting, removed battery, removed SD card. Rebooted still loading google.com
Any other method besides going for the last step which is a hard reset? If there is a file in the browser's system directory that can be deleted to reset the preferences.
Are you typing in a valid url, if not it goes straight to Google, just a thought.
Download Dolphin Browser from the market, see if it works ok from that browser. It sets your homepage correctly. I had the same problem as you with the stock browser, but my instructions worked fine for me.

I tried firefox, opera mobile, dolphin all started up with google.com (same as the stock browser), even I set it with another "valid" url, they all ignored it.
I guess there is not a choice but a hard reset.
And of course the url is valid, it's a major one, which I have to enter manually each time because the browser ignores it.
Does anyone have an idea if this has to do with the location setting for GPS?
I have no idea where to ask this, so I'm just gonna throw it here.
I have a very strange issue with the xda app that started happening a couple of days ago. Whenever I'm connected to my home wifi, the xda app logs me out, and I can't login because it gives me the "wrong username/password" error, and also the news feed doesn't seem to load. As soon as I switch to mobile data it allows me to login (with the same saved user/pass combo), and everything works perfectly fine.
I have absolutely no other issues with any other app while on my wifi, and also the xda forum is accessible via browser, just the app that gives me this issue. Any thoughts on this?

Yes, I have tried that earlier, however this morning the regular app suddenly works fine, so we'll see if it stays like that. Could it be that a certain ip range got banned or something like that?
