[Q] Stock web browser fullscreen with FROYO is it possible? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
is it possible to make the web browser fullscreen with 2.2 (hide the notification bar)? With 2.1 it was possible, but now it's not. I did not find any solution. It would be a great feature. Other browsers are not as smooth as the sgs browser, so to change the browser is not really an option for me.

I have stock froyo browser full page bar the address bar at the top .

You just need to
deodex -> decompile -> add the notitlebar property in the browser's manifest -> recompile

[Q] Status bar - How make this more attractive

Hi i have question, How make status more attractive than in Android 2.3 ? In 2.3 it is so ugly for me :/ I try to instal theme but i dont now how I only would change status bar. Any .apk file to do this ? I'm begginner at this
AT LAST i find someone who agree with me about how ugly the gingerbread bar is!
As for the themes you flash them in recovery, worked great for me so far.

Just follow the how to guide for finding the framework and systemUI apk and add the theme you want for everything but the statusbar from system --> app folder if you use a CM 7 rom

Changing notification drop down short-cuts and bottom shortcuts

Hi,
i am wondering how to change the default notification drop down list .
Currently is the default WiFi,Bluetooth,GPS,Slient Mode and auto rotation.I would like to change to my custom perferences.I saw a JKay Deluxe mod for it but it's only for LA4/6.I am on KL1.Anyway other way to do this?
Also,I would also like to change the bottom shortcuts,current also default(phone,contacts,s memo,messaging and application).Besides using launchers,can i change it using the stock launchers?

mate only you can change the dropdown menu is to get the LA4 or other cooked roms...
for the bottom shortcuts, you can use other launcher like launcher pro, ADW, GO launcher, and many more that will suit your needs...

How abt rearranging the icons?eg application in the middle..
So to make change to a rom that is not the same fw as yr current rom's,i can either flash via CWM or mobile odin right?

You cant change notification short cut in Stock ROM, but sure you can edit bottom(dock) icons
Open application - Press menu button - edit
Now you can long press - n move desired icon from n to
Home/application icon is static, it can't change. rest of you can.

one more qn...now i am on KL1 and am interested in getting a custom rom with different fw..Checkrom on LA4.can i just go ahead and flash the zip on cwm or must i dl a LA4 rom or a custom kernel first?
If you are having CWM, then flash custom ROM with it.

guys i cannot use my pc because of some unlucky situations, so i cannot edit xml files.. can someone share a link of flashable zip for zeus v6.22 that helps my problem of music notification bar.

dear Huexxx, i know it but i deleted the stock Music.apk with a backup program, then this notification bar showed up again.

AFAIK there's no settings for stock launcher. You can only add-remove pages, change the wallpaper and of course add/remove shortcut/widget

Hidden camera settings on 5.1

Hi,
Can anyone guide as to what things I need to edit in the build prop to get the hidden settings.
I really want quick capture so using the modded apk isn't an option.
