Incorrect, i have an unlocked i9000m. I will only sell if the price is right however.
i9000m works quite well using sim unlockers
i'm not gonna bother paying for a unlock code
waiting for software unlock
i can do a trade cause my phone is already unlocked and ready to use where ever i paid 640 for it.
some one please buy sushantp's i9000 Euro version.
just a friendly bump ^

I live in the UK
i live in the uk and my samsung kies program itself updated, the offered me a firware update to 2.2.1 after this, but no before. apparently, looking at a list of the available types the t-mobile uk 2.2.1 isnt out yet, so i dont know where mine came from, i think the thing i looked at tld me it was a portuguese version. very odd, especially as my phone jst came back from samsung repair and they said the had reflashed 2.2 onto it

I would say just about all of them. If you are with Telstra then you can only use a few modems that would give you the NextG network.
There is an OZ thread that you might want to use for this.
K.
i bought a used Galaxy tab, the guy sold me , did tell me that he got it unlocked from some shop. its working fine and i have rooted also.
the question is if i go for updating it throught samsing kies, as ginger bread would be coming soon, will it get locked again ?
thanks in advanc to all the gurus!!..

Hi all
My daughter has a galaxy mini, originally on Tesco mobile, that i would like to up grade for her. I think it is currently running with 2.2.1 (FROYO)
Any suggestions for the best upgrade to go for (via ODIN)? Gingerbread 2.3.6 seems to be on here as a tutorial but as it was from May i was wondering if any of the newer firmware releases are suitable?
Many thanks

100% safe to boot with no bootloader at all (which means breaking it is near impossible)
i'd recommend 2.3.4 or 2.3.5
