Hi
There are lots of them on eBay,
just try to use a keyword like "original" or "genuine" htc handsfree
cheers
I answer
As long as the socket is 3.5 mm, and should be, isn't it?
I picked one from eBay,for 7.99 and I got tools with it to fit the earpiece in my Mozart 7.
ear piece
top tip... thanks!
i've been using the earbuds from my old samsung champ and the sound quality is outstanding!

Hey anyone know of a 3.5mm headphone jack - Ext-USB that works with this phone? I've been searching everywhere, but haven't found anything that works.
i got one with the phone well it was a 2.5 i think and i got an adapter from Radioshack... it's very ugly and dangles i really wish phone companies would just put 3.5 mm jacks right into the phone -
you can also google mini-usb to 3.5 and can find some.
yeah. i'm using the one that came with the phone but it's so bulky. I was just wondering if anyone found something better.
I am currently using this one:

I've had a for about 2-3 months and it works great
T-Mobile Store
If you got to your local T-mobile store you can get an HTC branded 11-pin mini usb to 3.5 mm headphone jack for around ten dollars. I've been using it for a couple months and it works great since it was made to work with the Android HTC Dream. It's a little more pricier than you can find it online, but it's definitely reliable, the connection is sturdy, and it's not terribly overpriced.
i dont recomment the one above because i bought it and when it tangles over time the black rubber part breaks.. try

Which rubber part breaks off? (So I can be careful and elongate the time my cord exists)
I gotta admit, if I wasn't paranoid about buying stuff over the net, I would buy that. It's exactly what I was looking for originally, something sturdy (mainly the one piece connection that is likely to break) and simple.

perfect i saw this on ebay a while ago, but didn't know if it would work with the vogue. thanks so much!
Im just using the adapter for my Dream. Works great, has a built in microphone and hang up button that the ones online DONT have. Connection is fair, sometimes you gotta tighten it a bit.
This is the one that I'm using:
http://www.oriongadgets.com/product_info.php?products_id=2087
It looks like it's bigger but I like it because it's got more cable, which to a degree makes it more flexible in where I can put it. The little block includes a mic, and also has the connector for charging and 3.5mm output. So I can charge and listen to music, or charge and talk using standard headphones/earphones with the built in mic.

i would go with the brodit holders. i have had them for my last 4 phones and they are great . The fit is great, however they arn't as cheap as some... but you do pay for what you get.
a good company to get them from is dsl developments. mine should be here in a min so i will post a few pics if your interested
Ordered this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HTC-TOUCH-HD2...UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL?hash=item518ed1309c
Came today with charger, holder identical with the one provided by O2 UK with Orbit 2. It's holding HD2 very nicely.

Same here. I've already got the Brodit active mount installed it's the 4th one now. It's one of the first things I buy when I get a new phone. I use a RAM suction mount instead of the vent clip option. It's so easy to use just slide the phone in and out.
Ditto. I've just fitted a Brodit active mount for my HD2. Good quality mount that holds the HD2 firmly vertically or horizontally and the power connector lines up perfectly. I never regretted buying Brodit mounts for my past two phones and this one looks to be no exception.
same as above Brodit holder every time, good quality, good fit, not cheap but with a £500 phone its well worth getting something thats not going to drop it eh?
Brodit all the way! btw, there is a active thread already on this with many posts

Why not having a look on www.brodit.com.
I already installed the active one but removed the cig-plug (whole cable) and replaced it by a USB cable. So I'm also able to listen music while charging.
Works like a charm.

Hi Joerg,
How did you do this, my car stereo has a USB input and I'm also hoping this maybe a partial workaround to the Bluetooth issue.
Is there a line out in the micro-usb-plug, too? Like in the older HTC-devices or can i only get sound over the 3.5mm-headphone-plug?
On my polaris i used a htc adapter, where i pluged in a 3.5mm-sound-cable.

The Audio line out on the HD (mini USB) was not available so I can't imagine it being reinstated for the the HD2.
That´s bad. So i allways have to plug in two cables.
it looks nice. Thanks!
However, having a look at it, it seems like it's not possible to keep the HD2 horizontally (I mean the support holding the HD2 seems to be only for vertical use). Is this correct?

Would be intresting, if someone has this carholder and can say something about ist.
Landscape holding is important for me, because i want to use the hd2 for navigation.
What about the Motorola Moto Q-Holder? Can i use my HD2 landscape with this holder?
Has anyone tried this car holder that does not need a wind screen sucker: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DASH-FRICTION..._PDAAccessories_PDAMounts?hash=item518ed5ac3f
I have ordered one, so will see it is works or not.

Be interesting to hear your thoughts about this one. I've just ordered this one.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290380864077 should be here tomorrow... I'll post my feedback
is there a htc hd2 speaker dock so i can play music right off my hd2 and charge at the same time kinda like the iphone cradle ?
im looking for something portable i can take to the beach or bring by the pool or out in the backyard
Have a look here:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/deluxe-htc-hd2-desktop-charging-cradle-p22701.htm
You do need external speakers with this though...
its only for charging, there are no speakers.
i also wanna warn you, had problems with mobilefun.
i bought 2 po-s510 (leather pouch) and i waited for 4 weeks.
i cancelled my order and ordered the pouches in another shop.
surprisingly, mobilefun did delivered it one day after i got the other two.
so i got 4 pouches, although i cancelled my order.
i sent back and waited about 6-8 weeks for my money.
im happy, cause i get it now, but i never will buy anything at mobilefun.

I cant vouch for the quality but I came across these on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-Mini-Sp...ries_MobilePhoneBatteries?hash=item439b0ae7f3
Could be what your looking for and if its not its not like you'll break the bank.
ps. I know the pic is a Touch2 but the ad is for HD2
I bought off the Kidigi Cradle Deluxe form mobilefun.co.uk. I was a little late with the last batch order, which is why the order took 2 weeks instead of one. But in the end I received the cradle in good condition and works fine. It charges and syncs the Hd2 with your computer and you can plug speakers in the back to listen to the audio from your hd2 through the cradle. At the back of the cradle there is a seperate compartment for charging an extra hd2 battery. I think I am going to order a second one because of my positive experiences so far with the first one.
could you make some pictures please with hd2 in it?
thanks.

hi, forget about this thing. i bought one, a year ago for travelling. the are made for the iphone and so the hd2 dosent fit in. i think thats the reason why the seller nowhere writes hd2 except in the title, maybe its writen accidently, see the pictures i made. and away from that, they are cheap crap and have a lousy sound.
if you want some nice external sound watch out for something like this there are different brands. you can cascade them, and they make nice sound for such small devices.
regards mad
yes they are really cheap, price and quality. I remember giving them away for free at the shoe store I used to work at with any purchase of $10 or more.
Right when i purchased my HTC HD2, I knew that the headset that was budled with the phone was going to be utter crap... so I decdied to go searching for the "Perfect" Headset... (Music is very important to me.. and I'm not into the Blue-Tooth headsets) so I ended up purchasing these...
V-Moda Headset
I never heard of the brand but after some research and personal use.. They are by far the best ear pieces that I have ever owned... I highly recommend these to anyone who's currently in the market for some... although they are priced a little higher then most headsets.. I say that they are worth every penny and the quality in the Sound and Looks department is apparent.
Here's their website
www.v-moda.com
5/5 *if anyone has any questions feel free to post*
Cheers
I bought a set of V-Moda's about 2 years ago when the first iPhone came out. It had a recessed headphone port, and very few headphones would fit without an adapter. I ordered a pair for about £100 as they sponsored modmyifone and were highly recommended. The sound quality is great... very bassy, and they look good too. Mine have a single button on the mic which lets me answer the call or use MSVC. They've maybe moved on a bit in the last year?
I'd definately buy another set.
Yea the model I bought came standard with a 3.5 jack... but it did have an option for you to send proof of purchase if needed and they will send you a 2.5 adapter.. which i thought was kinda cool... great product
just figured i'd add the fact that i see that Best Buy is carrying these... and there's a V-Moda sale for these premium headsets... so yea.. just incase some others are interested for rocking some nice headsets with your shiny HD2
Hi all,
Not sure if this will work with the N7 but for the price but I have ordered one.
Logitech mini boom box with Bluetooth connection for £40 from tesco direct = bargain price for a reasonable portable speaker. Will post a review once I get hold of the thing in a couple of days.
Cheers Jon
That does seem to be a good price.

Yes amazon are doing the same boom box but in black for £73 so it looks ok . I thought to get one for the bathroom / kitchen etc. Currently I hook up the N7 to a veho Mimi but its not Bluetooth as such although the sound is awesome.
Logitech Mini Boombox at Amazon - for its size and money the sound is great. It has a microphone so it can be used as a speakerphone. I tried that and it worked wonderfully making the conversation much more pleasant than using the built-in speaker and mic on my phone.
