ThunderBolt Boot Animation and Splash - Android Themes

I made a custom splash screen and i have the official boot animation for the thunderbolt.
Requirements:
Rooted Device with a 480 by 800 resolution
ADB and Fastboot
Instructions:
Just unzip the contents of the zip file to the tools folder of your AndroidSDK (or wherever you have fastboot installed).
Plug your phone into the computer (Debugging enabled of course)
Open a command window
Type adb devices to make sure your computer recognizes the device
cd to the folder where you have fastboot and the splash screen .img
Type adb reboot bootloader
Your screen should say fastboot, not Hboot. If it says Hboot, manually scroll down and switch to fastboot mode.
Once in the fastboot bootloader type fastboot devices to make sure your computer recognizes the device
Type fastboot flash splash1 nexuscustom.img
It will say okay twice
Then type fastboot reboot
Thanks to Iriscience for his guide for installing the splash screens.

Huawei P7 126b fastboot devices ?

Hello,
So I'm trying to install the twrp recovery on the p7. adb is able to see my phone and I can use all the commands. With fastboot on the other hand I cant flash images on there. I can use the fastboot reboot command but I cant use the fastboot flash command. Also when I try using fastboot devices I get a question mark.

Yes, it could be bootloader problem. As I can see you have rom version 126 and AFAIK bootloader was unlocked by default from rom 133.
Before the question comes ...
1. Update Rom to b133 with full Rom and local update or dload method.
2. Check your bootloader and if its unlocked (i think after update it is) flash twrp/cwm.......

[FASTBOOT]Samsung download mode logo

Warning: This will most likely not work with the older cm11 bootloader please make sure you are using the latest bootloader!!
Hello!
Just figured out that the one can take bigger fastboot logo images than 446x56 so I made a Samsung download mode logo that shows when you enter fastboot mode!

On actual device:
I am in no way responsible for any bricks caused by this, the guide and bin file both work 100% and were flashed numerous times by me! Always make sure the downloaded file is not corrupted (size for my logo.bin should be ~1361KB)
How to install:
1: Download this logo.bin file: Download (MD5: 9f3a4250452b8453f83d199db6a962ed)
2: Reboot into fastboot by holding power up and power until "fastboot mode" appears
3: Connect phone to computer
4: Flash the downloaded logo.bin file by typing: Fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
5: If everything went well and no errors occured, type: fastboot reboot
6: Boot into fastboot again to see the result
Something wrong with the image? Want me to change/add something? Tell me via PM or reply to this post!
Reckon you could post the MD5? I really don't wanna accidentally get a corrupted download and flash it

Can you get into download mode?
If so you could pull the rom.zip from the RUU and rename the rom.zip to 0PM9IMG.zip then put on external sd then boot into bootloader and select download mode wait for flash selection volume up and wait til done.

Question Fastboot stuck on "waiting for device". Whatever OS I use.

Hi there,
I have just purchased a Zenfone 8, the bootloader is unlocked (I have the ugly message saying that the phone can"'t be trusted because bootloader is unlocked bla bla bla at startup).
However, while adb works, I can't get fastboot to recognize my device.
I tried on W10 and 11, also on Linux Mint.
Other phones are recognized properly by fastboot, but not the zenfone 8. And of course, fastbootd doesn't work.
Anyone faced this issue?
Thanks,
Anghi

I can get into fastboot mode. Using combo key or even "adb reboot bootloader". But on this screen, then fastboot does not recognize the device
And I have tried both bootloader (in principle fastboot) and fastbootd (the one within the recovery) screens. Fastboot commands don't work under both screens.
I think to get fastboot working I had to install the Asus specific driver on my pc
Ok thanks. Let me try.
Okay, solved by trying several USB C wires.
Thanks for the advices and help!

why are you trying to flash the DFE? Isn't it easier to just flash the magisk?

I flashed magisk but now i stuck on boot logo MIUI and after some time i rebooted into twrp recovery
First just a helpful hint, Minimal ADB hasn't been updated in a long time but it still works great. Just go to Googles site, download the small ADB package and replace the ADB and Fastboot exe's from the download into Minimal and replace.
My phone for example won't work with the old files included with minimal.
Anyway, onto your issue. Don't know MIUI but get the jist of what you're doing. To me this appears that unless this was tailor made for your phone, it tried rewriting the boot partition, not enough space so it tried compressing. Rewrote the boot partition and failed.
So you don't have a boot image or it's corrupt. Again don't know MIUI but it's probably soft bricked and you'll need to reflash or restore a backup which I assume/hope you made since you have TWRP
