Windows Media Player Navigation

Is there a way to change the navigation for the windows media player library? For example, when I select "My Music" it of course goes to my music, but if i want to go back I have to press the "Back" button up in the corner. I would rather simply hit the left Dpad key to go back.
Thanks.

Musicplayer

Hi all
Do you know if theres is a player where i can the playlist while im playing the music. So i can easily scroll my songs, while playing?
If you mean seeing what other tracks are on an album you are playing then Mixzing. Play as album and then hit list icon on top right of screen. Free on the market
If you mean you want a list of all the songs you have then the standard HTC music player will show that - just hit the music note icon on the bottom right of the screen whilst playing anything

[Q] Damn Music on HTC HD7 Please help

Its really annoying how i can't make my own playlist with JUST my phone. Is there anyway to make my HTC HD7 play one song and STOP because i tend to listen to music when i sleep and its annoying how i have to keep turning it off. Is there a way i can make my HTC play 1 or 2 songs and just stop because the music runs through the whole night which isn't great

You can indeed make your own playlist within the phone, BUT you can't save them. I'm glad you brought this up because I have found a loop-hole for this. It's a little confusing so bare with me!
1. Launch Zune Hub.
2. Select "Music" (the word not the play button).
3. Swipe over until your collection is sorted by songs.
4. Long press a song and select "pin to start".
5. Press the home button to return to the start screen.
6. Scroll down to find the song you've just pinned.
7. Press on the song to start playing it.
8. The song starts playing. Press the home button (or back) to return home.
9. The song should still be playing. Launch Zune hub again.
10. Select "Music" again.
11. Swipe to sort collection by song again.
12. Long press the desired song and select "add to now playing".
13. Press the back button.
14. You should now be at the history section where it displays the song currently playing.
15. Press on the song to get to the "now playing" section.
16. Note that there are only the songs that you just added.
17. Long press as many songs as you wish and select "add to now playing" to add them to the queue.
Here is what I was talking about with the loop hole:
If you would have selected a song to play without pinning it to the home screen, it adds every track on that album to the "now playing" section and there is no way to clear the tracks out of there unless you started to play another song from a different album, in which case you'd find yourself in the same situation; with all the tracks on that album added to the list instead of just that one you selected. You could reboot the phone to clear the list completely or you could just pin a track to the home screen which not only clears the list but also adds that track to the list as well. The only thing is you have to make sure that the song you've pinned to the home screen is a track that you actually want in the list.
It seems as though this is a bug. Hopefully Microsoft adds some sort of "clear now playing" option in future builds and adding one song doesn't add the entire album. Hope this helped!

Toggle pause with bluetooth media button

Hello,
I've got a shiny new media bluetooth button for the car, and of course the first thing I want to do is make it go through tasker so I can get lots of lovely functionality. I've got single press, double press, and long press for the Next and Previous buttons working fine, but I'm having trouble with the Play button. I still want it to toggle the pause, but when I do that (using Media Control: Toggle Pause, Simulate Media Button On), the music player (GMMP in this case) grabs the media control focus, and all the buttons revert to the music player, instead of my wonderful tasker stuff. I've tried setting an exit task with Media Button Events Grab but that doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's possible short of sending an intent - I found a togglepause intent, but I'm not sure how to write it (found from https://stackoverflow.com/questions...of-another-music-player-from-my-code#17286986 ) for tasker, or even if that's the best way of doing it.
Any help appreciated!
If found the intent for GMMP to play/pause, and it works, but the minute it's done, the media controls revert back to GMMP (even though they are set to not to be used).
I tried PowerAmp too (because I found an intent for it), and it will work the first time, but after that the media controls stop responding at all (previous/next/play).
I've even added a new Media Button Events: Grab right after the intent is sent, but it doesn't seem to do it.
