Is there an email app that has these two features?
1. The ability to "select all", then delete.
2. When forwarding an email, open "contacts" to select the recipients.
Thanks,

K-9 Mail
1. The ability to "select all", then delete. -- YES
2. When forwarding an email, open "contacts" to select the recipients. -- INDIRECT. Start typing, and it will show matching contacts in drop down as u type
Thanks for your reply disblo009. I have K-9 now and have had Maildroid and both will allow "all" delete but not "contact" selection. And both will match a contact to the first few letters typed. It's just that I usually forward emails to about 20 people; however, it's not always the same 20 people; therefore creating a "group" with the 20 address', as recommended by the developer of Maildroid, doesn't really solve the situation. The email program that was on my Captivate when I purchased it would allow you to use the contact list to select recipients but not allow "all" delete. It seems as though anyone who receives and forwards emails would appreciate these features; however, I can not find one program that has both.

Is there away to delete emails without having to go into the account, and delete the message from there?
I can see the message is junk mail and would really rather just have a quick delete button!
also, is there a way to turn off Delete confirmation on SMS messages?
To delete a mail you have to open it and then Menu \ Delete. I'm agree with you than a direct option to delete it was very good
I would also like to be able to mark them as read... the same way it happens with text messages
Totally agree! I would like to see one of the soft-keys have a 'delete' function...
Hi
I'm trying to add a mail address from a received mail to an "old" contact; when I tap on the address i can choose between "Send email" or "Save in contacts", but the save options let me just save it as a NEW contact.
Same thing happens when I try to add a number from an SMS to an old contact...
Is this a bug? Is there a fix?
Thanks!!!!
Does it work if you turn off TF3D?
Hi!
Annoys me as well, I guess that this is one of the great features that the designers over at HTC came up with.
Actually you can do it for SMSs from "unknown" numbers, by tapping the SMS (from a unsigned number) in the TouchFlo SMS tab you will get a contact page for that phone number. If you then slide the tab selector left to the contact card icon, you can hit save at the right soft button. Then the contacts list will open and you can choose an existing contact to add the number to, and even choose what kind of number this is (work, office, private, etc)
The problem is that if you hit an email from the TouchFlo email tab the regular winmo messages application is launched instead of the TouchFlo messages application used for SMS.
The ideal situation would be that emails where handled in the same way as SMSs

PK

paalkr, you are right, in this way you can save sms number to existing contact... Thanks, it's a good workaround!
I hope someone will find a "fix" for email addressess, too....
Anyone knows how do i add multiple contacts in one go to a particular message
i.e. check recipients names and add them without pressing enter again and again
its really irritating to add 27 recipients
if you are sending to the same group of persons you can try this...
#click on the To: field, click menu (bottom right) and select Add Recipient...
#Contacts will open, select the person by clicking on it. it is added and you are back in the sms compose window. click Menu and add again all the recipients one by one like the steps above.
#once you are done adding all required contacts, click and hold inside the To: field and select Select All. all contacts are selected and highligted.
#click and hold again inside To: field and select Copy
#open Pocket Word or Notes, paste it and save the file.
#next time when you want to send a group message again, open the Word or Notes file we created, copy everything and close the file.
#compose you message, tap and hold inside the To: field and click on Paste. all your contacts should now be added at one go.
you can also try searching for third party contacts manager which allow creating a group and sending a message to that group in one go.
hope that this help.
Thank you very much

Hi,
In messaging app I see list of sms received. From the initial list details I can figure out that few messages are not useful to read. How can I multiple select them and then delete them.
Currently I go to each message, have to select it and it bring up entire message and then from menu I choose delete thread.
Like in PC we would do CTRL and SHIFT to select multiple messages cannot we do that. Also if just one message of the list can we delete it from initial list itself.
Regards,
In my S8 I was using messages version 4.4.30.50 and it had the ability to schedule text message. I don't see that in S10. If it's truly not there, do you guys know of text msg app I can switch too that gives scheduling?
Yes, the option to send schedule messages is still there.
Go to messages app, open a conversation (or start new one by selecting the contact and when selecting the box to input the message) select the plus sign and select "Schedule Message".
Thanks got it!
