Provides quick and easy access to the mobile version of 14 popular news websites and the ability to turn them on or off under settings. As an added bonus you can add two of your own websites to the list. The simple browser supports both the back function using the hardware back button, The arrow up top returns the user directly to the network selection screen, and by clicking the news networks name above, allows you to return to their homepage. The function of the back button and the arrow can be swapped at the user preference under the settings menu. Keep in mind this displays the mobile version of the networks website and I am not responsible nor taking credit for their content. News networks included are:
CNN
BBC
ABC
CBS
NBC
Fox
USA Today
Reuters
New York Times
Los Angeles Times
The Washington Post
Yahoo News
Google News
Chicago Tribune
Version 1.2:
Bugs related to resuming from sleep fixed.
Version 1.3
Added support for the user to swap the hardware and software back button functions.
Added Ads for Trial version and removed the nag screen after every webpage navigation.

Hi I downloaded your app. It's very useful and I hope that it only keeps evolving much more. Thank you VERY much.
I'll be writing a review soon as well, thanks once again.
Oh I forgot one thing.. It kept advertising me treatments about cancer :-\ But I don't have cancer.. :'(
I have had this app for awhile and thoroughly enjoy it's performance and content.

Mobile developer Jay Desai has created an online application that allows users to make their own Windows Phone 7 app and compile them, ready for submission to the Marketplace, without having to enter a single line of code.
Currently, the software is very basic and allows the user to change the background of the app, add RSS feeds, a Facebook page and to read Twitter updates. Desai has signalled his intentions to add YouTube, Flickr and other online services, positioning it as a very fast and effective way for a brand or a website to create an official Windows Phone 7 app for their users/readers.
To make sure users don’t use this tool and submit a rash of buggy applications, Desai has limited use of the application by placing a password on the service. Users must request access via his Twitter account to be able to use the tool.

Hah! Thanks mate
had a bit of a play with this earlier and it actually works quite well for a beta.
Would love to see the ability to return to a previous project and edit it, and some more customisation options, but hopefully that would come in the future.
Hey Xda-Devs!
Thanks for the interest in thirdlabs! I'm one of the co-founders for thirdlabs. I'd like to point out that we have the ability to display the following feed types:
Blog
Facebook
Twitter
Youtube
Flickr
You can also select different visual styles for each of these feeds when you make your app!
Now you don't need to contact Jay through his twitter feed anymore. Just sign up at our website and start making your app right away!
Login in
Enter your feed(s)
Choose your style(s)
Get your passcode
Download TryMyApp from WP7 Marketplace (It's free to try )
Enter your passcode and enjoy your app!

We're currently working on user edit-ability. You'll be able to pull up your previously created apps, add/remove feeds, reorder feeds and change visual styles.
If you have questions/suggestions/comments email us please!! info[at]thirdlabs[dot]com
Thanks!
Any more updates on this? I checked the site a while back but am at work and it's restricted access here so can't check it.
No nothing yet mate!

Hi,
I would like to recommend a twitter client for Windows phone 7’s user. It is called ‘TwittWp’. It is fit to advanced twitter users.
It also provides many cool features:
- Classic browse Mode: Browse the content of the tweets that includes Clickable @names, URLs, and #Hashtags
- Fast browse Mode: Quickly glance at your tweets in plain text
- Dialog browse Mode: Display the dialogs of the people you followed
- Retweet by SMS, Email
- Lists management: Allow users to choose which lists will be invisible/visible.
- The user interface of the lists and search sections are shown by ‘Metro’ mode. It allows users to swipe left or right to see different lists or searching results within one app.
- Nearby: Display the content of the tweet and location of the friends you followed on the map
- In the details of the timelines, provide the main drive route navigation that helps you to find the location of your friends easily
- Multi-account support
- Text expression: Allow users to select various expression when editing your tweets
Click Here to watch the Youtube video of the TwittWp.
Click Here to download the free trial version.
R u the dev? If so please state that in OP.
Sent from my HD7 using Board Express
Please state whether you are the dev or not.
Since the marketplace states fastcode (fscode) as the developer, the users name here at least implies that he is the developer.
Yes, I am the developer. I have confidence in my app. I just want that more people can know my app. Could you make the comment for the quality of my app?
Please upload it on xda.
tnx bro
Please check out this sections template for app releases then. You should be good by then.
fscode
I see your full app is a paid one.
Can you please clarify what restrictions are placed on your free trial?
You will be aware of our rules in that you must offer a free version and support your app if you wish to place it here on XDA, either that or it goes in the paid app marketplace. It is against XDA rules to use tis as a base for advertising a paid product without providing the above.
Could you please clarify the above.
Hello everyone,
I made a WoL app some month ago, but forgot to talk about it here.
I've updated it for Mango two weeks ago, and thanks to the sockets availability in the new SDK, it can now suit all scenarii of use :
- Wake on LAN, on your local wifi network
- Wake on WAN, over the internet, requires that your router redirects WOL requests
It's free, and you can find it here : http://windowsphone.com/s?appid=dd5ce566-39ab-e011-a53c-78e7d1fa76f8

Feel free to send me/post your feedback
Thanks for this beautiful and useful apps.
Exactly what i was looking for.
F.
Thanks, Great app.
Can you extend the app to shutdown/restart and standby (LAN/WAN) computers too ?
Cheers
Well I'll give it a look and keep you posted. But you'll have to install a small executable on your PC to do that.
No problem, thanks!
Ill donate some next week

Thanks dude !!!!
Why can't I find this great app in my marketplace in Netherlands (Pays Bas) ?
There was a problem on the marketplace
But now it's fixed, and I would prefer that you don't distribute the xap freely without my consent. Downloading via the marketplace allows me to have usage stats.
By the way, I did not forget about the feature requests, and I'm working on the following :
- Check if a PC is on or off
- Remotely shutdown the PC
I've written the v2.0 of the app which is almost an RC, and the PC service app (called lighthouse) which is an early alpha for now.
It works perfectly in a local network, but I have problems debugging it in the real worlds (sockets timing out, firewall blocking and stuff). If someone is interested in helping me testing, just send me a PM.
Good job!
Hi everyone, been on XDA since i got my first Android (HTC Hero) and over time I have published a handful of android apps, mostly card games, however my new app is a utility I think the XDA community can really benefit from so I decided to make this post. Below is the market description and link. I’m charging $1.49 for it. Let me know what you think.

Widgets are no longer only for your homescreen!
Floating Widget lets you interact with any homescreen widget while you’re using any app on your device.
Ever wish you could:
- Control your local or streaming music without leaving your current app?
- Have a sports scoreboard up while using your e-book reader?
- View a data usage widget in real time while using the app you’re testing?
- Have a clock on the screen while playing a full screen game?
- View CPU usage while you’re interacting with an app?
- Have the a traffic indicator widget always up while commuting?
With Floating Widget, you can do all of these and more! Check the screenshots and embedded video for setup and examples.
This app is under active development and widgets were not designed for this, so instead of leaving a negative review because of bugs and glitches, please email me at [email protected] with any issues, concerns or questions.
Requires Eclair (2.1) and 4 special permissions:
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW - to make the widget stay visible on the screen
READ_PHONE_STATE - to allow the widget to hide when a phone call comes in
VIBRATE - to signal that the widget is in move mode
CHECK_LICENSE - to validate purchases and prevent piracy
