[Theme]Android 2.0

I have made a quick theme that looks like Android 2 from the SDK. Some icons are a bit big and the search and power control are a bit bigger too. I'm looking into those problems.

EDIT:added poll for quick feedback on my 1st theme(it was quick and dirty since my RC copy of Win7 seems to hate the way I use WinRAR.... so I had to find a different way to put files in zip)

Hey,some people may want a theme that looks like Android 2 but don't want the laggy,no wifi or BT 2.0 rom that's out now,or have no theming experience.....I just went ahead & did this for myself,and shared it with xda for people to use/improve.

Good job bro I just wish it had some Android 2.0 wallpapers.

It was a number given out by @FNC on twitter so you would find it sooner or later....plus the number gpes stright to voicemail,and I just put that number and pic in to test my theme.

Here is my Eclair theme, I kinda got bored with it but you guys are welcome to use it for a starting point.

Cant find 1.5 themes :(

yea i already used the search button .... when i do search i only see about 1 post that has ok themes but were are the good ones?? can someone point me in the direction ! im still on 1.5 cause the audio issue i cant stand it !! but i cant find a dam theme ne were

thanks i went there but theres crappy things under the 1.5 title .... the others say there for 2.1 ... i cant use those with 1.5 right??? i search and maybe i dont know the correct terms but wats 1.0 ? is that refering to 1.5 themes?

Sorry bro, I don't know what to tell you. I've been using 2.1 since the first leak hit. I haven't kept up with 1.5 at all. But like I said, the beauty of android is being able to do it yourself! Try downloading one of the themes you DID find, ripping into it and seeing what makes it tick....then changing it to suit your wants and needs!
EDIT: And sorry, no, the themes under the 2.1 title won't work on 1.5.

[Live Wallpaper] NEW VR Tunnel LWP by chopsui!!

Hey guys, just wanted to inform u of an awesome new LWP that i have been using on my slide with CM6... I found this in the N1 themes section but i thought i would post it here in case u guys dont wander like i do ... OP is as follows...

Ok, so the test versions I posted still didn't work on the Milestone. This probably means it's something very simple that I'm overlooking. I've updated the original file but the changes are pretty minor and shouldn't affect the N1. It *may* work on the Droid but I kinda doubt it. I'm going to try to get some help in the google dev forums. In the mean time, please spread the word if you like it. The more testing, the better!
Keep in mind that this is only a test version and that I plan to put it in the Market at which point you'll want to uninstall this one and get the real thing.

[REQ]Girly theme for wife!

Hey everyone! I just switched over from Sprint amidst all their drama and got my wife and myself each a Nexus S. I've been telling her all along how awesome Android is because you can theme it, OC it, UV it, and do pretty much whatever else you want but now I can't seem to find a theme that she likes.
Basically I'm not looking for something with hearts, rainbows, and unicorns. She just wants something with pink accents instead of green (and possibly the android or monsters as she is a fan of both of those). Maybe if possible theme some of the widgets so those can be pink-ish too.
I hope someone can oblige a man trying to get his wife addicted to android and I thank people in advance for their input!

And then change the background and add customizable widgets? that pretty much does it lol...Unless your looking for system tweaks to where bat color and everything is change in that aspect.

I'm looking for the changes to the battery color and the other notif bar icons. She thinks that if its just white like that it looks boring. I understand its a lot of work for something that is so small in its spectrum of use and I would be willing to make a (small, we're in college and very broke) donation to the creator because I am really trying to get her to see what is so cool about Android and the first step is getting her to feel like her phone is personally hers.

Actually, I'm not gonna lie, when buying phones yesterday knowing you were the mod in this forum was a big reason I liked the Nexus S. You're pretty good at keeping the drama down and since I like you I am more reserved about starting any myself since I don't want to cause more s*** for you hehe.

Someone made a purple version of my MattedBlues theme for the Evo - I can port it to the Nexus S if she likes it. Here's the link to PurpleMotif: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=820576
Keep in mind the theme has progressed a GREAT deal since then...but let me know if she likes that color.

Thank you man, that is really kind of you! As it stands with sonnysekhon's theme and theimpaler working on another one I don't want you to put in work on something she might not use. Its really nice to see that some people are willing to put in the work for the femdroids out there too though, so thank you all so much!

Sorry to bother, but I just rooted my wifes Nexus S and was going to flash this theme for her. However it's saying the file is invalid. Any change you could pm me the .zip?

Try redownloading it, could be a bad download

I've tried several times. Mediafire is saying Invalid or Deleted File. It's not a big deal. I'm sure more themes will be coming soon.

Oh mediafire, I thought when you were trying to flash it it was saying that Sorry about the confusion

No worries. No need to apologize at all. I've been putting off rooting her phone for a while because I've been working on my nexus 1 with all the new nighties and stuff. I found a link that details how to theme. I just have to sit down and work on it.

[REQ] Das BAMF Sense 3.0 ReMiX

I have used Das BAMF ROMS since I got my TB. Been using the Remix versions and "tweaking" them abit for my taste. Made the plunge to Sense 3.0 and love it. I would love to see if BAMF could create a REMIX version that had the following:
-BAMF logo in the lockscreen circle.
-3D mod baked in
-transparent pulldown notification/ 5 bar signal
-the black dialer
-black market
-Transparent clock BG
-soft key menus like the FROYO remix.. transparent/just icons (if possible - most customizations seem to need the Stock HTC skin)
-full screen friend stream - black/semi-transparent
-BAMF boot animations and shutdowns
-4x5 APP drawer semi-transparent
-non paginated scrolling
-black MMS
-black Email
All I can think of ATM..

uh oh?? what did I miss? I have looked for those patches, but only see a couple specifically for the Sense 3.0? Would the "patches" from REMIX 1.8 work? I got the impression they would not?

No definitely not, don't do that! Typically us BAMF'rs don't request updates or anything along those lines! If it drops it drops...It's more along the lines of hush hush and checking the forums frequently for updates, it's just not discussed!

oh okay..yea, I'm not gonna be mad if it doesn't happen, not would I keep pestering for this.. It was more of a "if it happens, it happens", but if you don't ask, you will NEVER get I have NO COMPLAINTS at all about the BAMF ROM's - just MY wish list LOL
Planning to flip them some money for beer regardless!

How are you liking the 3.0 besides the remix reasons? I've been thinking about trying it out

it's the best 3.0 sense I've tried. So much more stable than any of the others and chock full of features. I put the dark horse theme on it. Looks as good as it performs...
and OP, just be patient. They don't usually have a remix version of the ROM until it hits "release" status. So wait until then for theme requests, right now, they're all busy with the actual ROM

Correct, that was for the theme shop.
Regarding the Remix version, I can only speculate but, I don't see it happening until the "Final" version of the 3.0 rom comes out.

Hmm, I must have misunderstood that tweet. I thought it was regarding a different phone, but if it had to do with this rom & phone, it sounds amazing.

Bamf 3.0
Much thanks for the developers that keep us up at night waiting for the next update BAMF sense 3.0 simply amazing great to see ihtfp with BAMF

I'm liking 3.0, but my favorite widget doesn't work right
Multiple Icons, maybe I can live without it. The new lockscreen with weather is sweeet!

I'm a big time noob when it comes to rooting and such. In fact this is my first post.
From what I am seeing/reading, it looks like this is the best ROM to go with?

What favorite widget doesn't work? What its it doing?

More icons. Where you tap to open is off by maybe 1/4"
