TouchFLO UI

Hi,
Since Hermes and Wizard, alongside general information and development & hacking, are starting TouchFLO topics I created this one.
Allthough much work has to be done, at least the TouchFLO theme is available for WM 6 users. Since we don't have that I wonder if it somehow can be made available for WM 5 users like us.

The only thing working on my BA is the .tsk file for the dark theme.
The today plugin won't work because it's made for wm6 using the wm6 sdk (duh!).

UPDATE:
I got the dialer and wireless/connection manager running on my BA!
The problem that I lost all sounds/mic on my device. The connmanager works and the phone make calls. But I can't hear anything and nobody can hear me. There is no beeps from the fone or anysound from programs. The solution I've found is hard-reset. I'll keep trying.

The today plugin still not working.

Ok, the dialer works but smartdialing stops working after first call.
The problem with no sounds from the phone is with the connmanager. Do not install it unless you want your device to be totally silent.

I have installed both the Comm manager and dialer and I have no sound issues, all my sounds work fine!

same here, no problems with the sound.
I do have the smardial problem though.

Wisbar theme
Is there a black wm6 theme that will work with Wisbar 3?
I cant find one...

I will try the conn manager again (which version are you guys using?).

touchflo ui will never be available in WM5, also it depends on the HTC touch touscreen driver, if simeone post a hacked one it will be available on the other wm6 devices, but for now no other than HTC Touch Has it. The theme and comm manager and smartdialing work just fine with my rom (slows the device a lot but work,you can not open the options of smart dialing), home today plugin is not compatible with WM5

also not mentioned things in touch rom are the new windows live messenger (10.6.00.28.2700) and the new arcsoft mms 4.0.31.21) IA Zip(1.20.27526.0), Smart Dialing(2.5.27526.0), Sim Manager(6.13), Sim Access Profile, Adobe Reader LE, HTC Audio Manager, HTC Audio Today Plugin, (ported them all to wm5, and will include them in my next rom or as cabs). All of you are crazy about the gui stuff (which is not working well in wm5) but forget the important things

The today plugin would be nice but not really necessary. The comm manager have a better aparence and so the dialer.
My dialer displays the options for smart dialing but the problem is after I make or receive a call smart dialing will stop working so I need so softreset it.
As for the cube flip thing I'm not interest in it.
Basically I like the gray color scheme, the way comm manager looks and the dialer. The today plugin I got a mokup working with rltoday but it was too slow to change pages as it uses mortscript to replate the rltoday config file and reload the app.

I actually sold one of my BAs march 06 and got a wizard nib. You're missing out on a lot of sweet new items on wm6.. heres a shot of the htc touch in action

I will be looking forward your next release. What I'm saying about the touch ui it's just about the colors and visuals. If it's possible to change the colors from our current conn manager and have the dial pad like the touch one (bigger keypad) that would be nice.
As far buying the "touch" it's not a possibility right now ($) and the only reason I have the BA is because a friend gave it to me.

I know it is sort of GUI, but when Helmis WM6 ROM comes out (thanks so much Helmi), will it be possible to port the actual touchFLO interface where you dont need a stylus to read email and suchlike to the BA in WM6?

When that ROM comes out the possibilities will be the same as for other devices running WM6 so search other forum sections where available touch apps are discussed. As for the stylusless inbox control I believe the hardware upgrade would be required for its proper work.

I cant find anything usable in other threads, they're just speculating on whether the BIOCUBE will work. Can anyone provide a cab, or some other form of installing it (this is assuming we are using Helmi's WM6 BA ROM)?

there's quite a few actually
chk out the Lakeridgesoftware website in the forums they have a skins and themes section that has qwuite a few for free download, just make sure you get a QVGA version.
Also a quick google search for "4PDA.ru wisbar" will give you a russian site that has quite a few on there that aren't on the lakeridge site, and a efw that are. =)

Yes, I dont actually care now cos helmi has made a wm6 rom for the ba, but thanks anyways!

i downloaded the PHOTO ALBUM file & installed on my Eten Glofiish M700
it installed successfully & shows icon in program list
but when i click th icon nothing happens .. no albubm program starts???
does it work on other devices with WM6 or only HTC??
any tricks to make it work on mine?
i did install on main memory

HTC Album is great! Very very nice, but it's still very basic and lacks some functions such as folder selection, GIF/PNG support, file info, ... but one may argue that it's simplicity is the best thing about it.
Personally, I thank God for iPhone. It was a great motive that made Windows Mobile developers work a little bit harder

Wm 6.1 Professional Works!!!

Yea, ive "rebuild" the shipped KAISER ROM to Wings... but needs a lot of work now...
Screen Rotate works..

Displaydriver works in Portrait&Landscape by sliding Keyboard,
...but only 10 seconds to test, because there is a "Simdoor Unlocked-Please lock it..."Message, maybe a Hardware-Issue...
I want to add some nice tweaks later, to make this ROM useable without touchscreen like on HTC StarTrak or Tornado...
PRO ROM for PRO USER...
Who wants to test?Or help?!?!?All others may use ALCALINES ROM, because its for SmartPhones (only) and nearly bugless.

I'm wondering why using wm6 professional on a device without touch screen...

If so, it is useful; because there are other features within WM pro versus WM standard.
Don't let these guys keep you down. I'd volunteer to test, but I'm too comfortable with Alcaline's build.

I think so, but ive only 10 seconds to test...because there is a "SIM DOOR UNLOCKED-PHONE REBOOTS IN 10 SECONDS" Message after booting,but the Todayscreen appears, in Landscape too,...
Here are my findings:

...now ill hope to remove this SIM Door Issue...better use Alcalines ROM

I meant, on these pro builds on a phone without point input... can you actually do anything? I'm sure you can, i just wanted to confirm.

This is no prob...there are two apps out there, well tested on StarTrak and Typhoon, called FakeCursor and SPHelper.The Pro ROM is mostly useable with Joypad only, but some 3rd Apps need them.

No news for now...ive bricked the RadioPart in my Phone, have to fix this first...
Rom boots well, but i cant locate this SIMDOOR-Issue..i have to bypass this f*ckin GPIOx05.Then the real work may begin..
To cook a WINGS rom u can use any KAISER Kitchen...look at the KaiserForum here...

Arpy, would you tell me what did you change in the kaiser rom to make it run on the s730? I suppose the drivers are the same, but what else?

....at first time, ive changed NOTHING-> extract a KAISER ROM and recompiled as WINGS Rom =>1st Bootscreen with red letters, 2nd Screen with Startup-Animation, 3rd Screen with Windowslogo-=>Warning for an "Open SIM-Door"=>Todayscreen=>Phone Off.
at second time ive changed the whole Sys-Folder from Alcaline with Duttys one (dont ask which one, ive tried them all...)...mostly the same result,with some ROM's the Phone freeze after 2nd Screen...
Strike three:Changed the RADIO.
Ive tried some KAISER-RadioRoms, same results!
Radios works well with Alcalines ROM,..till i stucked with "RADIO ROM FROM HELL".. I can use my phone like before,but cant update my radio...now i try a solution in KAISERFORUM to "Jailbreak"
Fazit:A KAISER Rom works well on WINGS.
But we need a "HACK" to disable the GPIO=05c->SimdoorSensor.

Ah i forgot...Ive changed the XIP too..anyway, same results!!!The Usual way is to use the SYS and XIP from PRO and the OEM from STANDART,..i think..

i keep seeing threads for wm6.1 and how it works but no links to download it and try it for myself.
i tried aclines and didnt work keep saying the file is corupted. im looking for wm 6.1 for my wing any help???

No, thats the Problem.And not enought time to check the running processes or called dll's...
now i playin' around with HaRet and some other COM-Telnet tools,...

Im looking to flash a new ROM onto my Wing for the 1st time and I'd like to kind of take baby steps. I believe HardSPL can lead to bricking and im not really willing to take that chance, So I need a SoftSPL ROM because I just cant put up with how slow the Stock Wing ROM is with the software I have installed.I type 3x faster than the letters show up on the screen
Im looking for a rom WM 6.0 or 6.1 doesn't matter but 6.1 would be cool I would also like to have to do as little after install fixes as possible. I know some ROMS have bluetooth and mms issues that Id rather not have to fix if possible.
Here is what I have installed on the stock ROM, maybe this list can help you see what I need/want in a ROM

Look at the Open Touch Series. Its USPL so you dont have to hard SPL your phone. I currently use 4.0 Lite and it works great for me. 5.0 is currently in the process of being released I beleive some time this week. Check it out...

Yeah, I agree. I would def. check out the open touch series. Easy to flash to, and comes with a lot of goodies.

I have been using the herald-uspl flashcenter for all the rom I found on this board, including opentouch, touch-it, ASerg, ITSPapaBlack, etc, without hardspl.

Thanks guys, I went with the Open Touch 4.0 Lite and so far im happy with it. MUCH MUCH faster then the TMO Rom

TouchFlo 3D On Jade

Hello i have an htc touch 3g aka Jade(T3232) and i want to know if there is any way to install tf3d i've read some of the post but none was clear. THX (excuse my english) and 1 more thing i instaled a tf3d qvga but it says "Tap here to launch TouchFlo 3D and is i tap is says that is launching and then the same thing..."

and he needs a 3d graphic chip, which jade does not have, and he although needs to use the board search option, as we have had this topic already...

I tried in jade.. Animation worked well.. but white sqaures.. also its too slow..

Did you try using the polaris 3d drivers?? or is this going to fail anyways

the poralis driver doesn't work. after installing it you need to reboot. while rebooting your phone freezes and you need a hardreset :/
maybe the kaiser driver works?!?
