I can't stay logged in in Tatalk or XDA App on my Nook. I can login fine, but when I leave and come back to the app, it tells me the password is wrong.
Pain in the neck having to login again everytime. Tree uninstalling and reinstalling but issue persists. Anyone have a solution?

Working okay for.me so far with Froyo.

I had the same problem until I went to froyo on my phone. The nook is android 2.1.. Unless you're having this issue with the froyo version?

I'm running stock 2.1 rooted on the Nook. No problems with Tapatalk on my Nexus S or iPod Touch but on the Nook I have this issue.

Interesting that it differs based on 2.1/2.2, I hadn't noticed... Been a long time since I used tapatalk on my Nexus One since getting the Nook Color.
I was under the impression that this was a function of the forum requiring logins on each connection. I googled that somewhere..

On the XDA app it makes me login every time I launch the application.
I tried wiping data, etc. to no avail. Anyone else having this issue?

Does anyone know if the paid version of tapatalk remembers the password? If so it might be work the $2 or $3

On nookie froyo, the xda app crashes after login.

I'm running "brianf21"'s eMMC 0.6.7 image and have tried to use the XDA App on it. It kinda works. However, it crashes when I attempt to open up a topic. Has anyone else encountered similar behavior on their NC?
Thanks,

It only crashes when I'm logged in. If I'm not the I can browse but can't dl or post. Kinda sucks so I go to xda on the browser.

It's a known issue. It will only work properly if you purchase tapatalk from the market.
That's weird cuz it worked untill I followed the steps to get netflix working. Related?

I don't think so. My XDA's been broken since I got it, then I started reading up on it and that's what I found out. Works fine on my phone, but not on my Nook.

I don't think so either. Crashed before and after Netflix for me. My solution is to uninstall and reinstall. Then it works again (for how long, I do not know).

Does this mean I have to read XDA through the tapatalk app... or have both installed to make the XDA app work?

Uninstall/ reinstall didn't work for me. The only other thing I did was to over to OC it but it works great besides this damn app. Can't see it being this. Xda any ideas????????

the xda devs free app always crashed on my nook once I logged in when using CM7. The paid app works fine.

the problem is nook does not have imei number, if you use the imei hack that you can find in this forum, it'll work.
Had the same isuue, upgraded to premium and now it works perfect!
Sent from my NookColor using XDA Premium App
Just buy the premium app. Works perfect, not one fc yet.

Does the premium need an imei?

So glad I found this thread. I flashed CM7 beta 3.1 last night and was pulling my hair out due to XDA FCing every time I logged in. I had hacked the IMEI for Swype on my previous 6.0.3 Stable install prior to installing XDA.
Another crisis averted thanks to XDA!
I had a few crashes before I upgraded too. Now there is no problem.

I also upgraded. Just having the app keep me logged in is worth $0.99!

Since everyone may gave noticed the new Facebook update broke notifications among other things. I'm requesting an old .apk where notifications can actually be clicked on.

Which version number do you want exactly?
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
I don't believe its the apps fault. More likely a issue with Facebook itself. Sometimes tapping on notifications works ( like today for example). Other times it clearly was not working.

For an older version of APK try to check at AndroidDrawer.com
Its more reliable due to the md5 checksum.

That keyboard failure means you installed the wrong gapps file. CM10.1.3 needs gapps-jb-20130812-signed.zip. You probably installed a newer one. You should go back and reinstall the correct version.
