Ok, so I installled Adobe Flash Player 7 on my Tilt. However flash content still does not load. Have I missed something else? Is there a tweak to display flash content within IE?

Uninstall Macromedia Flash Player 7. Restart your device. Install Adobe Lite 2.1 and then install Macromedia Flash Player 7 again. It has something to do with the order in which your install these programs...

I uninstalled Flash 7 reset, uninstalled flashlite 2.1 reset.. installed flashlite 2.1 reset, then Flash 7 reset... tested digg swarm and Zillow
...still no go

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but since IE isn't a true browser (technically Pocket IE) flash doesn't work on it.
I truely miss it now during football season since nfl.com is pretty much flash based for the scores.
where can you download adobe flash lite 2.1. They dont have it available on their website.
well... the best alternative to the IE is IMHO the Minimo (Firefox for PPC);-)
or what browser do you use on your desktop : IE or Firefox?

If you DO need Flash, use Opera Mobile instead. It's the only other browser for PPC / SP to support Flash. Also see my related reviews.

It, theoretically, should support Flash.
Give a try to Opera Mobile to see whether Flash is used by it.

This isn't really needed - the Flash 7 plug-in SHOULD work w/o the Lite version. The two are completely independent.

Still not loading flash content for me. I've tried PIE, Opera, and Picsel browser; and... no dice with all.

I really hate to admit this but the lack of flash on certain websites is like only seeing half of the Internet I understand that even the iPhones have this same issue.
I hope someone will come up with a solution. This is my #1 complaint with Windows Mobile devices.
Does anybody know how to make settings to see Flash based web sites. My bank uses a flash based web site and account site and I couldnt see anything. IE mobile opens it but Opera have a blank page.

This is not a flash plugin or installs like that. It actually is a standalone flash player to play flash content (flash files). It helps developers to test their flash based applications (like games etc).

Well it opens up videos in opera on youtube style sites.
This does not work for me? Am i doing something wrong? Just installed Adobe Flash Lite, but flash sites aren't viewable in Opera
Isn't Flash Lite installed on the diamond on-delivery already... quite sure that it's in the manual... going to check...
According to the manual it is pre-installed...
But it says it's to play flash-files.. so it probably doesn't works through opera...
You need Flash Player 7 not flash lite. Trust me.

"Note Adobe Flash Lite only supports playback of Flash Lite (not Flash) files."

I have installed 1.37 rom and find something, if you disable plug-in support from settings. flash works fine on Opera. with full support.

It's officially out today!
HOWEVER... it's still listed as not available for my Xoom LTE. Not sure if they forgot to check the box for this model. If someone can get the new tablet friendly APK out there, I'd be obliged. I've already submitted a message to Hulu support.

It's good to know how to do it, programs like ASTRO File Manager or App Backup & Restore can backup the apps installed on your phone or tablet as APK files, which can be installed on any device. It doesn't back up app data (You need root and Titanium Backup for that), but it's great if you want to save old versions of apps in case someone releases a bad update, or if you want to copy them to a device that doesn't have the Android Market or something like that.
Then you stick 'em on some sort of site that lets people download 'em.
Installed fine, however getting DRM not supported error...
I'm running EOS ICS on my CDMA Verizon Xoom, and no dice. I installed it on my Transformer, no problem. Used Astro to backup the apk; however, it says its private and won't allow me to. I've tried to install from the device and the web based play store. No go.
I don't think it's compatible with ICS yet, because my Galaxy Nexus is also non-supported; however, I have ICS on my Nexus S and it installed just fine, so...idk
Runs on my xoom just fine.

Im using market update version -
As of last night, my Xoom LTE could install the app off the Play Store. I could also start a video, but the connection wasn't great it seemed, and I got a network error after like fifteen seconds.
It seems like the only people who have gotten the official app to work on their Xoom, are people with the 4G LTE Xoom. Although, it does not say it will only work on 4G LTE in the Google Play app store, there seems to be a pattern. I wonder if a build.prop edit could fix the issue?

The 7/29 updates to the NBC Olympics apps (both "NBC Olympics" and "Live Extra") say they are not compatible with the NS4G. I'm not sure if this is because I'm running a 4.1 rom, Has anyone got those running successfully? Thanks

The Android Market says it's incompatible and won't let me download it, but I'm running it on top of 4.1.1 and it does work. I had to get it from 1Mobile.com

Same issue here too with just an NS. I briefly downgraded to 4.04 and still could not download it.
Any one have a link for the BBC apk? I know it's not available in the US.
I don't know if it's posted, but I just realized that sideloading the APK downloaded through playstore beta program (another GMS phone) it makes HD work natively on mate 40 pro.
After all we have L1.

Just tested on Huawei MatePad 11 with latest Harmony OS update. Found to be working up to 1080p. The normal app was not even giving HD. Thanks mate!
