Clock widget is late - Motorola Droid and Milestone General

Hi,
My wife got a Milestone some weeks ago and we've noticed that the clock widget keeps getting late (the system clock is always perfectly in time) if the phone is inactive for some time or if it's been used a lot. I've installed another clock widget and the same thing keeps happening. I've tried both widgets on my Samsung Vibrant and this doesn't happen. Did this happen to anyone else?
thanks
Rafa

Bump.......

Fancy Widget
There another clock and weather widget called Fancy Widget on the Android Market. I've used that widget on my Motorola Milestone and it works fine.

We've tried 2 clock widgets already and both had the same trouble.

We've just realized that all clock related apps are progressively getting late. The phones' stock clock is always on time, but all other apps are late. Any thoughts on where the issue is?

We´ve tested without the task killer and the issue persists. I was starting to think this could cpu related, but I think that´s impossible, otherwise there would be thousands of Milestone users complaining about this.

This doesnt happen to me...
I have used several clock widgets from the market and various roms.
How much is the time drift?

The time drift is gradual. It starts with 1 minute and if it can go up to 10...but then if you lock the phone and then unlock it the system updates the time to the correct time.

Flipclock

Hey guys, a few days ago, I updated from Cyanogen5.07 T5 to 5.07 DS. After updating, I noticed more than a few of my apps weren't showing up under Settings>Applications. Weird, I know.
So to fix this, I wiped, reflashed. While re-installing the apps I had on my phone, I tried to download a very particular app: Flipclock medium. After various searches through market for "Flipclock", "clock", "flip", and "medium", I still could not find the app.
I tried a variation of the app, retro flip clock widget, but the clock freezes constantly and stops moving. I would have to remove the widget and replace it again. Obviously this isn't a viable solution.
Additional notes:
I have tried Weather Widgets Donate and Weather Widgets (yr.no). Neither one will keep from freezing. I also know about the 4x2 flipclock widgets that have shown up on market but I do not like the look of these and do not wish to bother trying them.
In conclusion:
Does anyone know if this clock freezing is an issue with CM 5.07 DS?
Does anyone know if it's just me that can't see flipclock medium on market?
Does anyone have an existing APK of flipclock medium (it's a free app)?
Please answer asap, thank you.
Anyone? Really looking for help on this..
Also tried Beautiful Widgets which worked for a while but for no reason, started to freeze for me again. Also generated a lot of lag after a while, as well as showing a force close notification even when there were no Beautiful widgets present on screens.

[Q] CM7 widget issues

I've been using CM7 on my Milestone from the first RC3 build and otherwise it seems to be working pretty well, but there's some issues with widgets on ADW Launcher and LauncherPro. I'm using Fancy Widget and for some reason neither is updating correctly. It updates every now and then for no apparent reason, but most of the time, the clock is stuck in the same time for hours.
Same issues with other widgets as well, such as Pure Calendar
Anyone else having the same issues and any suggestions for fixing it?

Weird clock problem

Sometimes the clock just doesn't get updated at all. Check out the screen shot.the clock on the notification bar works fine but the one on the home screen stops updating itself. This happens with stock clock and beautiful widgets as well.
I am on stock ROM and non rooted phone

I have a different clock related problem: often, when I set the timer or the stopwatch feature and then let the screen timeout, the clock forgets that its timing something. When I go to check on it, it has reset to zero.
I have the same problem here, the standard Samsung clock and the beweather clock stops working at random.I
have got the problem since the ICS update...
Is either the launcher problem or task killer killing the clock. You can use the clock widget that comes with your launcher. If you are using task killer, make sure your clock is in your ignore list.

widgets and MIUI

Has anyone else had problems with widgets?
I have two widgets that act flaky:
wifiwidget - supposed to show current wifi connection, it's flaky.
Also use to turn on/off/switch wifi connection. (which works)
screen on widget - widget to force the screen on. doesn't seem to work at all.
It's handy for when I"m eating or something - and way easier than digging through menus.
Any other personal favorite widgets? big screen ones (like full month calendars)
are quite nice on the MIX.
I have the following working on the EU ROM (TWRP'd, Su'd and Xposed)
WSJ widget
NY Times widget
Newton Email inbox
Dark Skies weather
Fenix (Twitter)
All are working well, after a factory reset and re-rooting ( I was getting tremendous G Play FC alerts)
How is your Mix set.up?
Cheers

widgets that update are getting frozen by the stupid battery saving and security measures built into MIUI. freeze those apps and/or follow the instructions on forbes and talked about in various threads to make sure you get instant notifications. its the same concept.
can't wait till someone comes up with a pure android build so i can get rid of MIUI

Clocks freezing?

Does anyone else notice clock widgets seem to freeze every so often so the time shows incorrectly? I've turned off battery optimisation for the widgets but it still does it
Not on mine... I use Beautiful widgets for the clock and it keeps on ticking (I don't lick my Note 9)....
Are you a 3rd party or the Smasung clock widget? I think I used Sony Xperia widget on my V20. It featured this behavior occasionally if I had not touched my phone for awhile. It would update itself after stretching out and yawning some more. My note9 with in house widget is not doing this.
Using better dashclock and another widget (that's the name lol)
