help with g1!

hey im new and i got a g1 thats stuck on the bootloader screen the colored one..it has no image file i was told that some one tried to root it and messed u0p. i just want to fix it and use it nothing fancy so if you can help me out thanks!!!

Download the nbh file for the phones region and flash it.

Is There A Guide To Make Custom Boot Animation For SGS I9000?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a guide (On here or another website) to make custom boot animation for the SGS I9000 please as i could not find one Thanks

I would have a read of that board and look at boot animations offered .

Same here.
I've even taken other animations apart, altered the images using the original png files. Put it all back together and they don't work.
Can't work out what I'm doing wrong.

Any Senior Member or Rom cookers can help us out here plz.!!
Even i was searching for how to make my own bootscreen and put it to my rom.(looking for a tutorial)
Also looking for how to make my own themes and icons(if anyone can share me a link)

Android on htc touch pro 2

Ok im trying to install android on my sprint htc touch pro 2 And im doing everything right but when i run heret and the white text comes up And then it goes into a bootloop sayin 4.4 already on my phone whatever that means! i reset my phone and memory card a million times and still same thing! can somebody please help me asap

If you didn't know about the tp2 android forum, you probably have the wrong android on your sd card.

This may be old and too late or worthless to help but try this package:

It's the multiupload link towards the bottom of the post. Format your SD card and unzip all of the files to the root of it. Then go into the "Startups" folder on your device and pull the one for your Rhodium. I imagine you have the RHOD400 so try that startup.

Just did not know it, I apologize, however it is something that you change the kernel so if he does a developer do not think you can do

Hi friend !
That is called BootLogo or SplashScreen , First of all you need to convert your .PNG picture to .rle by a tool you can search in Google , after that you need to replace it in ramdisk of your kernel after finishing kernel making and flashing your kernel you will see your boot logo !

Brother you know an easy way to edit the ram disk, it's dangerous?

You can brick your device ( I think) when you screw things up accendently..
However it sounds very easy alltho i have never tried it..

I did some mistakes but i m still alive without problems
powered by The Stig's kernel(3.4.33)...some say it can create cores on its will...

Easy to replace, just replace ARIESVE.rle in the ramdisk.
Use the android kitchen, or even Virtuous Ten Studio (als decompiles boot.img now )

Why would you wanna do that? It`s not like you see it 99% of the time... Just sayin...

how can i change the splash screen of my s advance???
could someone help me please, i'm getting crazy.....i found some guide, but was only for sgs2, or htc.
where i can found a splah screen original of s gsadvance ?
now i have cyanogen mod 11 (based on android 4.4.2), cococore kernel v 9.x(i d'ont remeber x), i have change the boot animation, but now, i want to change also the splash screen
PLEASE HELP ME ( i've search a lot on the web, but i don't understand how do this)

Splash screen, screen before bootanimation? I think that it needs modifications on kernel. So you can't do it easy. You need change it source, and compile it... If I am wrong someone else will tell the right way.

ok , thanks,(yes , i was telling about splash screen before animation, the written " samsung galaxy s advance gt-I9070", because i have already changed boot animation with a custom )
I see on the web , that it seems to be easy, for example ,sgs2, has also un app on the play store that help you to do this, and there are a lot of guide for other device, like htc, sgs2, ...., , so , i hope someone could tell me how i can do, and i hope it will be easy

Hm, yes I saw on I9000. Some user push jpg image to some partition. But we need to find out what is for our device, and were it is located. I am not sure, I let some developer to get in.

yes it was, but i wasn't able to did , (i have tried all morning, and also it was too difficult to do.....( i only risked to brick my phone, i was very scary , but fortunatly , i was able to reflash my custom rom, and i also had done a back up with titanium)
so, some other guide please ? someone else could help me?
