Hi Guys,
I tried researching this and came with some roadblocks and got confused in regards to the basebands and such.
So i have a Bell i9000m using i9000xxjp2 for baseband (firmware is the GT-i9000-eng 2.2 master 332 test-keys.332)
and I would like to flash to the BELL I9000M 2.2 Froyo Firmware I9000UGJK3.
Is this possilbe to do? Safely? Is there any risks? I understand how to use Odin and such.
Thanks guys in advance,
Tim

As far as I know, this is not available anywhere.
UGJG8 and UGJH2 are both available from http://samfirmware.com. UGJG8 is just a slightly older firmware than UGJG9. UGJH2 is the current stock firmware that all Bell phones ship with.
Hey guys...
I have SGS from bell, But I bought it from someone and using on Fido.
I was able to unlock it and it is on 2.1
I wanted to upgrade to 2.2 but I read so many reports on problems when upgrading.
all what I know so far about my phone :
pda: I9000UGJH2
PHONE: I9000UGJH2
CSC: I9000BMCJH2
I don't know which version of kies was used for this updated version because I bought this from someone on kijiji.
so in simple language, what are the first few steps I should do to verify if I can upgrade safely ?
notes:
I don't have backup and don't yet how to do so.
sorry if my question is repeat but I got all confused with so many posts on I am not sure which one apply to my situation...
please help kindly,

Hi everyone,
I've searched for references of this "UB" firmware version trying to find when a Froyo update via Kies will be available, and found virtually none.. I did find however, that this code is for Brazil.
So I wondered, does anyone know what firmware version can I use to upgrade to Froyo ?
Thanks.
