you need good file explorer not the default.
i use resco.

for me date settings dont work from advanced config only to replace file manually,
probably its for old manila...

I do believe the file in question is services.jar found in "/framework/services.jar"... i do not know if this is the same file that controls the font color on the Sprint Hero... but you can check

I opened the service.jar file and the only file in it is manifest.mf and i don't think this file can be modified.
I think the file that I need to modify is status.xml.

I've been working on a theme and I have been trying to change the color of the bar that shows up for the volume control and for downloads, etc. I have looked all over the ROM and themes trying to find the .png for it, but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me what it's called and where it's located? Thanks in advance.

I think u should be able to find it in "framework-res.apk" file under settings/framework

framework-res.apk\res\drawable\progress_horizontal.xml

Its not a .png you can just edit in photoshop. You have to decompile and edit the progress_horizontal.xml file.

what color do you want I can change the hex code for you without using apk manger.pm me and let me know

Chaging fonts CM7

Hey there! So, I saw this option to change fonts on CM7 RC 5.7 and when i open it, I try to selecting the fonts file from root /system folder and tried copying to sd card, select and applying again, but nothing change. How do I change it? What's the difference between the change font option and change text font option? Thanks and sorry for bad English.

Hi there , if you want to change your font, tap on "Change fonts" then, tap on "DroidSans.ttf and select your font. Also Tap on DroidSans-Bold.ttf and change it with same font..

Two more questions(If not against the rules), can you indicate me some website to download new fonts? And can I use any type of fonts or it needs to be "ported" for smartphones? Thanks!

Maybe you can try google webfont or try googling for free fonts. There's a lot of free font out there, but i don't know is it compatible for android or not. I never change my font befor.

ihint.net is the best site to download fonts for me.. but this site use Bahasa/Indonesian, not english. But you can translate it if you don't understand using google translate ._.

Those fonts by gianton are the best thing I've recently found on this board. Spent the whole day browsing fonts and flashing them

Search if it's in the hub, if not, check the gianton thread with the new font and check if there is the font.
If there isn't, you've to request to he the zip with your font

"One_Font_Roboto_new" is not working from HUB
the downloaded file is empty

Font Changer
Hi All
Its simple to change font just download any third part app from playstore but you should be rooted and busybox installed and you should be aware of the location of your fonts for that just do a little search with root explorer and then set the right path and boom shoot the desired font.
