SwiFTP? - Captivate Themes and Apps

I love this App to access my phone files via WiFi,I got a question about it. I noticed I see my External Card and I can Copy and Paste files to it from my Computer but I can't seem to be able to say Copy a File on my phone's sdcard and Paste it to External Card or vice versa. Is there a way to do that with SwiFTP.

Need help: File names in SD card become CAPITAL when browsing in WM65 ???

I'm using WM65 nowe. When I use card reader to copy some files or folders from my computer into my SD card, the names look just right on my computer.
BUT when I put SD into my mobile phone and browse them, the names of some files/folders (not all of them) become capital.
I've tried XP and Win7, still the same.
e.g.: I copy two folders named conf and media - into my SD card, but they become CONF and MEDIA in my mobile.
How could this happen? Somebody can help me with this?
Still nobody replys??
What a tricky problem~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

root in SD

Can anyone tell me how to copy .nbh file to root of SDcard pls? I click on kovsimg.nbh file than copy than i click in my computer to my portal device than right click on storage card and paste. But in boot menu still no image find :s . can anyone explain me how to copy in root of SDcard pls?
thank you
Take a look at this, read point 2.a
If you find it useful, please click thanks button.
when you connect your phone to the PC check choose connect type "Disk Drive" instead of "ActiveSync"
now you will see the sd card as a separate folder in your explorer/total commander/file manager and can easily organize/copy/move files and folders on the card and between PC and phone w/o any format conversion (that you suffer when copying files in activesync mode)
Best, DK

[Q] Needs help on file transfer

Hello. I'm using miui which I think is based off AOSP ICS.
The problem is when connected through usb, the storage drives don't show up on PC side. I've tried sd card mount app, but without success.
Please help me and tell me how I can get this done so I can move files back and through the usb cable.
THANK YOUUUUUUU
Use Droid Explorer.
Installed Droid Explorer for pc, and installed it with Android SDK, mounted sd cards using app, and managed to get droid explorer to recognize the sd cards.
But the interface is kinda of weird, and I can't copy over or make a new folder within droid explorer. The only thing I can do is copy over individual files, and then make a folder using my Phone's explorer then putting them into the folder.
Is this the only way to transfer files to my phone besides using wifi trasnfer or taking the external sd card out of the phone? isn't there a way to just get the pc to recognize the phone's sd card and just use the windows explorer? (is this due to the AOSP ROM?)
EDIT: FOUND EASY FIX. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1556367

[Q][HELP]Sd card not writable after fix on Kitkat 4.4.2

I'm having problems with the new sd card kitkat permissions, I have rooted my phone for that reason,I have applied the fix but nothing seems to make it work.
The sd card is readable, I am simply unable to write anything on it from my phone.
1. I am using a rooted device, no need to tell me a need a rooted phone.
2. I have used 2 different apps to modify the permissions file
3. platform.xml as been correctly modified
4. I am unable to copy files to the sd card from my computer when its in my Z1.
What is wrong with my phone and as this happened to anyone else ?
If you have 2 apps they may be causing conflicts
Please post a copy of your platform.xml
Here's a copy of my platform file.
That seems correct.
Try to create a file on your SD card using any explorer app that is not installed in system (i.e one you download from the play store)
If that works then the fix is working, it may be something to do with your PC
I can't create any files or any folder from ES file esplorer. I can't even create one fom file commander.

Try putting your sd card into your PC and seeing if you can create a file directly onto it that way
I'm able to create a file from a computer but only from an adapter, not directly in my phone.
Sent from my C6906 using XDA Free mobile app
I take it you mean that if you put your sdcard into a card reader or sdcard slot in our PC it works, but not when you are connectint the phone via usb cable
If so, what error does it give? Can you copy things off the card?

Yes I can copy things to my computer.
If I try to delete something off of it, it will act as if its deleted but when I remove it and plug it back its still there.
This is the exact same problem I have! Something happens to the cards as 1 out of 3 cards is perfectly fine but something you do with the phone ****s them up permanently I think.

[Q] Why Do Folders On My Phone's SD Card Disappear on My PC?

Hi,
I'm feeling really stupid and I hope someone can make sense of this for me.
I've always been confused with the virtual paths that recent Android versions use in the file structure, and am having a hard backing up my SD card to my PC.
I actually want to copy this file:
/storage/emulated/0/AuthenticatorPlus/authplus.db
to my PC so I can copy it to a different device, but would like to a backup at the same time.
I inserted the card into my PC and copied everything onto the PC, only to discover that I couldn't find the folder or the file. Worse yet, I realized that while I have what looks like hundreds of folders on my SD card, I have exactly SEVEN in my backup folder on the PC.
And now I'm having a hard time matching up the files on the PC to those on the SD card. For example, I found a file in the Downloads folder on the PC. I found it on the SD card, but the path is given as
/storage/3737-3334/Downloads
Huh? Can someone make sense of this for me? How can I copy my authplus.db file to my PC, or better yet, back up my entire SD card and make the backup look like what I see on the card?
Thanks!
P.S. I just decided I'd try uploading the file to Dropbox and when I selected the SD card, Dropbox showed me the same folders I'm seeing on the PC! What am I looking at?

That's because /storage/emulated/0 is considered a virtual SD card meaning a fake SD card and this is usually where downloads go.. The other one /storage/3737-3334/ is the actual real SD card that you put in the phone yourself.. The SD cards name is 3737-3334 that's why it shows up like that.. Basically the system downloads everything on to the fake SD card and it's your choice to copy it and paste it into the real SD card because anything that's in the fake SD card will get erased if you have to factory reset or anything.. Both of them the fake SD card and real one should both have to close to the same folders in them like music, music pictures, pictures media, media etc. etc. You get it? You manually HAVE to move the files to your real SD card FIRST and then you can remove it and copy it.. Just highlight everything in the fake SD card and then copy it over to the real one it's really easy.

Wow, I've seen that 3737-3334 before but I have never heard this explanation. I knew we were dealing with virtual paths but had didn't know I had access to a location. This makes sense. Thank you!
