Framework Modifications for Sense ROMs

Creating a new thread for my own UOT framework modifications for various ROMs
The current mods are with Froyo 1.84.xxx based Sense roms (i.e 2.2.1) and will not work with Gingerbread roms.
The Mods are
1) Circle battery with percentage
2) UOT style Charging animation
3) Coloured animated themed statusbar icons
4) Powerbar icons red theme
5) Flying animation
Caution
Please note that I do not take any responsibility if your setup gets messed up.
Please try and look up your own ROM's specs. These mods may not work if incorrectly flashed into a different ROM.
The mods will change your framework-res.apk and if you want to go back to your stock theme then keep a copy of the original framework file found in /sys-parts/framework/ or in sd-ext/framework depending on your ROM.
HOW TO FLASH?
Download zip file (do not unzip)
Save on SD card
Boot to ClockworkRecovery
Backup your current rom in clockwork and then clear cache partition and dalvik cache before flashing.
> Select Install Zip from SD card > Choose zip to install > Navigate to the saved zip file and click install
Reboot
Please let me know if it works. Also if you have any other specific request (such as fonts or alternative colour pack ) let me know and i can give it a try..

I have Updated post with new mods for Frankinstien HD v1.0 ....enjoy
We will have to ask Frank to provide a powerbar in notification window. If he can provide one only then will i be able to change the icon colours.....!!

im using it on my runnymede 4.0,works great,got all the top bar notifications different colours and now my scrolling is different,such as spinning round or fliping up if that makes sense,abit like using adw ex if that makes sense

ANoTher Theme for Topogigi v2.0 [v2 10172011]

ANoTher (Almost Not There) Theme for your Optimus 2X P990
Designed for Topogigi's ROM v2.0.
Similar to my old v1.1 theme, this is pretty much more of a compilation of packs rather than a fully redesigned theme itself.
I simply got what I really liked amongst the many sources that we have here in XDA.
The theme includes the ff:
Smaller font size for the status bar clock (regardless of system font style) - v2.0 ROM default
CRT screen off animation - v2.0 ROM default
AOSP lockscreen - v2.0 ROM default
Vertical battery with meter (hybrid charging animation) - thanks to UOT kitchen
Trebuchet Small font - thanks to UOT Kitchen
Transparent sliders for the lockscreen - thanks to UOT Kitchen
A snazzy "Optimus 2X" brand on your status pulldown bar - thanks to 75markus & Paki0402
Status icons for wifi and signal turning green whenever a connection to the Google servers are established - Mjuksel
Removal of notification power toggles and notification music controls & semi-transparent notification area (clearer than v2.0 default) - Squide
Plus! an integrated convert-ext4 zip (Topogigi ROM users will be able to relate. )
All in a compact flashable zip! - Major thanks to Sileshn for merging and compiling everything for me. This single, flashable zip would not be possible without his help.
Again, all things in this post are intended for Topogigi v2.0. Make sure to nandroid backup before performing any flashing. I will not be responsible if you mess up your phone.

Well, let's go and edit all the system's apk files, and change all the icons to begin with
After that, some framework themeing and editing some system apk's (colors in sms/mss, dialer etc) !!
I also have some webspace to use for it
Lets get a shared dropbox folder also to work on it simultanious !

Oohhh... I'd like that. I especially would like to have an mms.apk with a dark background. And a smaller font size too. Thing is, I know knothing about apk compiling, any link for a tutorial on that?

Under concept, it should work with both.
Since they are both based on the Euro v10c rom anyway. It was just customized per country/carrier.

Sorry but I'm really not sure. Since DJDroid is based off v10D, it might. But I haven't tried it.

Muztah Aldaya. Well, the theme itself doesnt really affect battery life. But the stock Rom really works well with the battery. 1 day moderate usage, or 2 days light usage.
So far, Im really happy with LG stock.

When I made the icons, I thought that when charging, it would appear the green only one at a time with the correspondent level charging percentage, but no, it shows the current charging percentage on blue, then it shows on green the rest of the percentages very quick, lol, I could change that with something else as at first it looked weird, but now I think it's kind of cool

do we need updated battery icons for the newest (april 3rd) nightly or can we use the old ones?

i tried it with the 3/29 mods and i got stuck at the lockscreen, I would wait for new ones.

That's weird cuz I just flashed my Axiom circle mod and it works perfectly. My mods are based on the 4.0.4 SystemUI that was in Pete's 03_29 build which hasn't changed in the 04_03 build...
Did you follow the instructions and ONLY flash the mod after the new ROM has at least booted once and is setup?

Thanks for the quick mods ! Do you no if it is very difficult to remove clock from statusbar ? That is the only option I miss in Peter's rom .. I like to have a weather clock on my home page and I thing it looks kinda crowded having two clocks .

I am working as good and quicly as I can in order to update the theme. Therefore, I hope you all enjoy it .
Possible errors:
If you get the following error “Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device’s screen size” hit apply anyways
If you get the following error “This theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied” Apply the System Theme, Restart your device and try applying again. Do keep in mind that these errors are common on pretty much every theme out there.
Deleting data of Theme Provider after applying System Theme can fix issues sometimes. Settings -> Apps -> All -> Theme Provider -> Delete Data. (Thanks to XXMrHyde for the tip).
Feel free to report any errors you might explore.

I don`t know why there is no official (HTC) dark Theme for One-s,
it looks much better than the light one,

Nope. Just download and install the .apk file without recovery or anything .

What about Tablet UI in this Theme? (for CM9)
(doesn't work for me)

Small bug/flaw, when you open the email application the top bar is split into two pieces, one is green and the other half is white.

Details:
This theme was built for Insertcoin rom, but should work on any rom.
It uses the VRThemer which injects the images into the apk's. Meaning your tweaks will not be affected.
Instructions:
Flash your rom normally with all your tweaks.
Let your rom boot up.
Select the correct download.(There are 2. 1 for Inter,AT&T,VZW & TMO. The other is for Sprint.
Flash the theme in recovery. No need to wipe.
If your phone sticks on the boot screen, just hold the power button till it reboots.

I'm sorry I didn't see your response earlier, yes the milestone 6 is 5.0 but the svn is 5.5 and there isn't a milestone for it yet. It's all good though I just changed the clock and it works perfectly fine now. Thank for this awesome piece of work!

Depends on the rom. I will post an alternate battery flash. But here's the thing. If your rom supports 1% increments, Then flash the alternate battery. If not, then you need to stay with the original. I will post it in the op.

I see the white battery but the % does not match. its only off 4% not a big deal.. I like the theme.

That's strange. Must be something with the way they sync. How about after a reboot?

I should have responded back. I installed OMJ mod pack to delete gps icon and re flashed theme.. All is good again
