I am looking for an app draw that scrolls down/up but has an edge at the bottom. I'm using ADW launcher and the phone is rooted.
Thanks Tomween1

Anyone know of a profile or hack to get more home screens? Every apps I've tried ass something, mainly a new app tray or buttons at the bottom of the screen. I just want more home screens, nothing more.
Your going to have to use a home replacement such as launcher pro or adw and yes they will usually change the launcher
You may be able to keep it at the vanilla launcher via options.

What about Launcher+ on the Android Market?

In the latest version of adw you can choose to have no Main Dock (adw settings>UI Settings>Main Dock Style). If you do this you have a completely clean screen and can choose to use a swipe action, such as swipe up, to bring of the scrollable dock bar. This is what i'm doing when i use adw and just bind the app drawer to my home button.
I'm using ADW, but i have no option for a scrollable dockbar? I know how to hide it and all of that, but no option to add more than five shortcuts down there..

That's the main dock. There is a hidden scrollable dock. You enable it through the settings and pick a means of making it appear (button press our swipe gesture.

Just out of curiosity, is there anyway to change the way the menu looks when you use LauncherPro? I like LP but I prefer the one that has sort of a cubed look to it - when you scroll it has the next page of apps under the ones shown now. 3D look I suppose. Is there anyway to have that menu style with LP? Thanks!
Do you mean the app drawer? If so, Yes. Once your at the home screen hit the menu button, the hour preferences. These are all preferences for LP. For 3d app drawer, got to advanced settings and your should see it.

I think u mean is the transitions? LP lacks it, u must try adwlauncher EX much better than lp.. awsome home transitions

Sounds like he's wanting what Nerz explained. It's the scrollable "3D Drawer", in advanced settings. I'm using it as well in LP+ and it works perfectly.
Anyone know of a launcher that orients the dock to the bottom in landscape? I've tried adw, launcher pro and zeam but none seem to have the option unless I'm missing it.
+1
I always wondered about this but never thought to post here. Thanks for reminding me.
Well here is one option. In ADW (I'm using EX but I'm pretty sure the unpaid app does the same) go into settings, UI settings, main dock, main dock style and choose the no icon option. Now, go back to your home screen and create a 'launcher action' shortcut that open and closes the app drawer. You'll have to make one for every screen you have ... or not. For a while i only had one on my main screen so there was more room on the others.
Yeah, that's what I am doing now (adw w/out dock). I was just looking for a sticky dock with maybe some eye candy.

That's a pretty slick idea.
Thanks!
I just use the swipe down action to open the app drawer. This way I have no dock on screen and can get to the drawer from any of my screens. I'm using ADW free version.

Exactly, though I prefer swipe up for and down for notifications. That way you can even hide the status bar.
Power Launcher Pro has landscape mode with the dockbar at the bottom.
Hello, My wife's phone is all of a sudden showing 3 small screens after the home button is pushed. They are the home screen and her other two screens. She is using ADW Launcher. They way she wants it to be is press home button and it goes to home screen. That's the way it used to do. Thanks for the help.
Change what the home button does in ADW Launcher settings
If that option is not there, because it has not been updated for years, install Nova Launcher instead, much better

You can't say 'ADW Aside' when ADW is the problem
If there is no setting in ADW settings to change what the home button does, you are stuck with it unless you change the launcher
Those 4 little screens you are seeing, are all the homescreens set up in ADW, when you swipe left or right, each one of those screens is one of the swipe pages
