HTC Dream/T-Mobile G1: 2.1-1.6 FW

Can someone help me get through the process of downgrading my firmware version on my G1 from 2.1 to 1.6, please?

can anybody confirm of z4root will work on this phone?

P1010 has other hardware components then P1000

like what? other than 3g texting and calling?
im so pissed of with this stock rom.. it hangs a lot and got errors...
when time came ill try it ahahaha!!!!! even if its the last thing will happen to this tab..
i hate this tab... i should have bought the one with sim cards

Have any of you found a way to root the p1010( wifi ) only version? Ive tried z4root as well as superoneclick and niether worked.

z4root works properly.

you have to attempt to root the device sometimes 2 or 3 times for it to work. shut down as many apps as you can before you start worked for me that way. it was same issue had on my xperia x10i

SOC v1.7-shortfuse works for me. only one try and my Tab is rooted.

Did any one of you try one click lag fix? I did however after that the tab doesn't vibrate anymore. See if someone hs solution for this.

Today I had to pick up a new phone. So I got a good price on a galaxy s gt i9000.
Im running 2.3.6 now
Build is gingerbread.xwjw6
And im getting frustrated trying to figure out the proper way to root this thing. Its unlocked and im using it on rogers in canada if that matters.
Can someone help me please.

The easiest way, is to use an apk or rooting tool with PC, use one from My Android Collections , link below. If that is not to your liking you can flash a CF root kernel from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468795

[Q] Beginner with problems Optimus 2x

Hello
I have a Optimus 2x which have suddenly started to get a blurry screen every now and then. So that makes all the letters etc blurry and very hard to read. Ive heard that its possible to fix this by installing a new rom, so I tryed to follow this guide I found. Unfortunaly this dident really help and made my phone worse.
Anyone who can help me fix my phone? I would appriciate that the guide that possible gets linked is very easy and have links that work.

Hi, I would recommend to flash stock firmware again using nvflash or smartflash. Then check if the problem persist. If its there again go for a replacement. For flashing there are really comprehensive guides in this forum.

Try this guide out, Paul is the Godfather of flashing our O2X:

After that you can start flashing all the ROMs and make your device work like it deserves to work.

Oh its the download link for that baseband v20l that doesnt work, so I cant download it...
