I believe the latest version is Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10 found in the Wildpuzzle thread among others.
and that radio works well with cyanogen roms???do you recomende to intall?
I can say it fixed my navi prob in cm 7 #17
Radio's are universal. Not confined to any particular ROM. The latest one is said to improve signal strength at the cost of battery life.
so if i dont have signal problems better stay with mine? how much difference of battery usage are we talking?
I personally have stuck to my old version (15.31), because, for me, Signal reception is fine, and, I dont use GPS at all, so, CM7's non functioning GPS is a Non-Issue for me.
The battery difference will be minimal. It's tough to put a figure here though. :/
how do u flash a new radio???
@3xeno... can i possibly help my prob of datanetwork??

i just flashed it
flashes fine
works fine
time will tell if it improves anything
Well I've chucked it onto my HD, and it hasn't made much of a difference at all. It's no worse than 1.10.25.25.
But yeah, it flashed fine, and appears to be working.
Updated Blackstone Radio thread.
Also compiled the radio with BlackstoneRuu.exe in new download.

Hi AllTheWay,
Thanks for that link. I'll try it just before my next ROM change. I have only one complaint with the current radio. I can't make my HD connect to a fixed IP address/mac_address so I have to leave one IP address open just for the HD. Greets to your part of the world
I just did the RADIO flash too! Will report and keep u update in few hours time.

Hey AllTheWay,
I noticed that the package that you posted has the version of the RUUwrapper that gives the false positive in virus alerts. My virus protection even erases it! Here is one that I found packaged with other roms that doesn't give the false positive.
Waiting for the first couple of feedback, then i'ma flash.
flashed without problem. it is working like the 1.10.25.25 ROM and got no errors till now. GPS is a little bit strange in my eyes but maybe i have to test it outdoors (i am in germany). we will see.. but i think its at least working as well as the 1.10.25.25 ROM.. all other things will need some days to tell
just flashed, first thing with tomtom the first fix inside my house is really fast .. before I had to wait sometimes and I experienced the "poor signal" error, phone signal requires some days to be tested, wi-fi works well
I just flashed it - can't see any obvious differences except that my memory usage seems to have dropped significantly. Not sure how if/how the radio is realted to memory usage but that would seem to be a big improvement to me

are you sure? i cannot see that memory improvement in usage.. but maybe its because i use davideucks rom (v5) with that Radio ROM.. but that would be strange as well, or?

I'm just using stock 1.14.405.3 WWE and am seeing a 9% drop in memory usage at the moment.
Like I say, it seems strange as I wouldn't have thought there would be any impact, or if there was it would be minimal.

Similar experience here too, now using stock 1.14.405.3 Orange rom with this radio, memory usage is at 35% at moment with all the HD Tweak cache tweaks made, its usually in the low 40%'s, perhaps the cache isn't in use yet.
maybe i see this improvment not as good as you because davis rom is using a dynamic pagepool, but i think if two reports that, that it is a really good news with that new radio rom, isn`t it?
wich Radio do you suggest me to use ???!!
untill now im using 1.10.25.18 and many people think it has more battery power
please someone can tell me wich one to use? bec there are new ones and i dont realy know if they are better as they are new?
TY very much!!
You have to try them and see how they work for you. How "good" or "bad" a radio is depends on your location, provider, GPS app you use, the color of your shirt, etc.
For me, 1.17 works really well.
I second Harvey... Radio is fully based on your service provider... Try and use it for minimum 3 days...(to check battery drains, signal strength, call drops etc) and then decide to stick on one.
For me 1.17 works well (excellent)
PS: i forgot.... color of shirt is very important for ur Radio ROM... haha kidding...
well, flashed to 1.16 a few month ago - my previous version (ex factory, I recall) was 1.03
big improvement! 2 more bars, big improvement in the car as well
well, personally for me it goes like that..
1.10.25.18 has the best gps fix time for me
1.14 is the most stable
1.16 has not impressed me at all
Anyway, it seems to me radio version is not THAT important. You know, r2a roms are rock stable and have long battery time while r3a drain battery and freeze phones for many people

Hi Guys
Flashed a few roms on my sexy nexy but my brother had recently flashed a radio and told me of the signal improvement. I'm using Kang O Rama rom and wondered whether anyone could suggest a good radio to flash?
Cheers for any help

First one to say it: Wrong Section
Should be in Q&A.
But, to answer your question, I have seen that it really depends on your own experiences with each radio. I found that none of the 5.XX radios worked well for me. So, I'm running the older radio. But mos people say that the newer ones are better. So, you should just try them out. Just be careful when flashing
Cheers for that. I noticed that I had posted in the wrong forum straight away but didn't know how to move it with tapatalk.
Thanks for the info. Anyone got any recommendations?

same here:
5.12 horrible battery and terrible internet speeds
5.08 terrible battery
4.xx no problems
and the same bad reception on all of them
=> UNLESS you actually have a PROBLEM with the radio, leave it alone!
5.12 radio here, wonderful battery and blazing speeds. No problems at all.
So I'd really like to know people's opinions on the radios for the Nexus one and what people use. I am currently on 5.08.00.04 radio and I have tried the 5.12.00.08 as well. I think that the 5.08 works better for me at least. What are your opinions and what do you use? Also does it really matter which one you choose?
I'm on 5.12, works fine.
5.08 works fine on TMob USA for me.

Some people experience slower speeds with the "newer" radio. As the saying goes... newer isn't always better.
My N1 had 5.08.00.04 allready pre-installed and all is working perfect. I don't see why I should upgrade/downgrade
Yea I find the 5.08 radio works best for me I get better bandwidth overall and signal originally I was 4.12, just upgraded for cyanogen

Hi guys, was hoping for a little help here. I'm sure there are many HTC ONE users here from the UK, I'd like to know which radios are working best here in the UK, I'm currently on 3 Network, but have been experiencing poor mobile Internet signals recently and slow down load speed. HOPING that users of the HTC ONE in the UK could provide links to the best UK radio
i've been using the Google Edition radio and they all seem to be the same for me on Three. which one are you currently using?
I'm using the new GE radio and I think it's the best yet, here is a link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2342544
Currently using 4A.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04L on O2.

I was having problems with the signal on my phone while making and receiving calls with the radio that came with the latest update so I first flashed the radio from the GE 4.3 rom and noticed an improvement and signal problems so I then did the full conversion to GE rom and firmware.

Yeah Nexus, same for me - Ive tried around 4 radios so far and to be honest, I dont notice a great change in reception or speed in any of them, at the minute im on Google Edition 4.3 4A.18.3263.15_10.38h.1157.04L, which I believe is the latest GE Radio, but had hellish problems with internet last night in a low reception area ( 1 bar ), mobile internet was on/off - on/off constantly , but could make phone calls fine, anyway guys thanks to all of you for your input and it may be worth posting links in this thread in future, just to keep us uk users running on the best possible radio/
thanks added to all who posted, cheers guys
@ maxal, may have to try a full GE Conversion , but love ARHD so much lol
