When you install it seems to install another app called jumpertest I think its a error log thing or something but if anyone can figure out how to remove it that would be awesome.

Did you see accounts access required to run this during install seems odd that a music player would need to use the credentials of an acount.

Ahh, it should say that in the original post. I just finished trying to incorporate it into the ROM directly via 7zip and it didn't work that way either. Oh well.

Thanks man! If they add a proper genre browsing, it will be perfect. That's the only thing differentiating this from the iOS music player.

It has an option to automatically download lyrics.

Is it missing something between the album art and play button there should be something there

running bionix 1.2 and this app is working beautifully, i was using the honeycomb music player before this one. its not a huge deal for me bcuz its not a feature that makes or breaks this apps awesome but the equalizer bar display toward the bottom of the screen are missing

- cannot figure out how downloading album art works / cannot select and choose?
- how to download album art for a single album?
- cannot select music folders for scanning, I dont want to play all of my ringtones and everything else.
- cannot edit/download id3 taggs

How do you search for music in this app? I tried pressing various key combos.. nothing.. i need a text box where i can type the track name..

anyone have a newer version of this? i love it but the newer one is better

This one and Honeycomb music player are my favorites.

I tried using this launcher when the system dump got out from the nexus s 4g, the graphics....at least the app icons, look like crap so I went back to adwex.
The icons look fine when its on the nexus, but on the epic it doesnt look good.
Use two different launchers and switch between them, you will be able to tell the difference.

Icons are a little distorted not enough to not make me use it though....It runs smoother than the stock TW launcher and the TW 4.0 launcher.....I use zeam launcher too which works great but I have had no issues...the icons aren't
as crisp as above stated...but to each his own.

Flash this... Works in 2.3.4... Could do the same on 2.3.3, not sure. If anyone tries this, please report back.

you should use the updated theme with the scrollable pulldown. it gives you the auto rotate option and data on/off switch. very handy imo

Maybe adding soon...

Deano0714 have the aosp mms.apk and it works fine maybe you can add that also.. But I love the theme.. I'm basic so this is perfect!

Yeah, I may add the app also, I just feel adding apps may be more thn some people want just added to their phone if thy already like to use something else.

Null/null, I havnt tried actually,but from that it looks like stock music player won't work, but double twist might.

I might have fudged something when I ported it, Ill take a closer look tomorrow, but null means the hook isn't there or something.

Who wouldn't wanna have the aosp mms with the theme.. Would defeat the purpose of aosp gingerbread.. But I love your theme

Apollo is terrible IMO..anyone whos switched to aosp what media player do you use?

I've settled on paying for neutron player..ya its expensive but..I really like it. I just wish they gave you more than 5 days to try it.

I've settled for zplayer. Sure, it costs money, but I find that it works well and I actually like the styling of Windows Phone/Zune.

Apollo poop
I am using PAC man rom and it came with apollo app as a system app, it truely sux.Everytime I try going to equalizer it forces closes.Sometimes the app itself force closes.Does not also response to headset controls.In my opinion PowerAmp is the best music app ever but it does not work in PAC man rom. Atm I am using MixZing premium,free to download from 4shared, gets the job done and also has an equalizer.

Don't know what you're restoring that's breaking breaking those things

i literally tried 99% of players and now i use stock player for making playlists and updating album arts and player pro pro version for stuff. works awesome no problem and the widgets are the best

i use vlc for video...and play music for music

i like apollo...lol
the next on the list would be aosp music player (simple version of google music...not as flashy and no cloud storage)

I used double twist which is awesome.
