Can this be used on every Hero, before i try those clocks
Hi there!
I just uploaded a rather huge landscape wallpaper collection, more than 270 backgrounds that look great on the HTC Hero. If you want some more wallpapers for your homescreen, here's the address:
Landscape Wallpapers (640×480 and 800×480)
There is of course apps for downloading wallpapers straight to your phone as well, like Zedge and AndroLib Wallpapers.
Does anyone know of any more good collections? I think Interfacelift has some of the best landscape wallpapers on the Web.
Couldn't find a specific wallpaper thread here, so I hope it's okay I made a brand new one
Cheers

Deviantart.com has some amazing stuff on it, although most will have to resized to fit. If you collect a few of them you can always batch resize in Adobe Bridge or similar programs.
So I'm toying with the idea of doing a complete pixel based icon set (plus some wallpapers for future theme-ing).
I was wondering if there was any interest from anyone out there in the community. if so I'd be more than happy to crank out some preview icons. I'm talking pixel art in a non-isometric flavour. (Isometric icons, while cool, would be hard to manage in a 60x60 icon size... do-able but might not look so good)
I'm working on a mail icon and will post up when I finish it. Just wanted to get a feel.
Hope you guys can help. I have several different music players on my Thunderbolt (Cubed, Jukefox, Mortplayer, Winamp, Poweramp, Mixzing) and Phantom Player control widget controling the stock Android music player. Its the closest I have found to what I would love to have.
What I would like to know is this:
Is there a music control widget that looks more like someone scribbled or doodled the controls on a sheet of paper, something that looks hand drawn? No background, and the ability to use custom text for album name and/or artist name?
What I am trying to do (im not rooted, so no pictures) is make my GoLauncher look like a note pad. I am currently using Desktop VisualizeR and SimpleText to make my icons look like they are written in lazy handwritting. And I am OK with the Minimilistic text for clock, battery and weather being more stocky. I am also using Simple Calendar and allthough its also stocky, its working.
I have the wallpaper, and my home page is really close, just would like to know if there is a widget for music control that allows that doodled, hand drawn look? Same with a clock and calender widget too?
thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.
for the clock i guess you could use mclock. if there is no handdrawn theme available there's a topic with instructions on how to make one

Is the topic for those of us that know nothing about programming and have limited resources for this kind of thing? And where is this topic?

it's here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875280
you might find some useful things here
or you can look here: http://www.maroonedsoftware.com/index.php?title=Main_Page it's an mclock reference
you might look for a template with the functionality you want and change the font to handdrawn

A full theme for cm11 would be awesome
Ninja Art: Thread Revival!!
I was searching for Windows 95/98 icons because I saw an Android home screen that used those icons. I stumbled upon this thread. Sadly, it didn't seem to be answered.
Someone may not have made an icon pack, but this Deviant user has the icons. You'll have to do it manually for now. I'm going to have fun with this right now.
P.S. The download button is on the right of the page. Took me a while to find it. Clearly I don't use Deviant Art. LoL!!
