Hello,
just received the case for my HD2 from pdair, in fact this one:
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000801&products_id=24581
It's not my first purchase via pdair. If anyone looks for a classy case, built of fine and soft leather and manufactured on the millimeter, simply go for this case !
This is no advertisement, I neither get paid by pdair nor am I affiliated with them in any way (unfortunately...).
Already purchased the case for the Touch HD from them.
Actually the HD2 also fits in there and this is what I did until the new case came today.
I'd been a bit concerned therefore if they wouldn't offer the same case in disguise for two different device models.
Well they didn't
I have always preferred "horizontal pouch type" cases, they are most practical to wear, that's at least my experience.
Only downside was:
If you live in Europe, like I do, its quite some distance to Hong Kong and I had to wait for the good to arrive (unfortunately air cargo space over Christmas time becomes additionally scarce).
Let's hope they will have some distribution point in the EU region some time.
As far as I could see there is no retailer in Europe offering their cases.
In case someone knows one, pls post here.
Regards,

I ordered the same pouch. I am using a brando black silicon skin on my hd2 and I hope that with the elastic sides of the pouch I can put my phone with the silicon skin on in the pouch. This is simply impossible with other pouches. (I've bought already 2 pouches) I will keep you informed when I receive my pouch. I think that many others will be interested in a pouch in which they can put their phone with a silicon skin on.

Oops.
I am sure this will be problematic as I said:
The pdair case is no "generic case", as offered by several manufacturers (already was "cheated" myself by such resellers, sent back these cases of course), it really fits on the millimeter.
Yes, there is a rubberized, flexible strap on each side of the case, but as the HD2 itself is very thin, these straps are as well.
So if your rubber cover (or case) is very, very thin, the HD2 might fit in the pdair case with it.
Yes, just post your findings for others.
If it won't fit in and you can't use it or pdair won't take it back (never had to return anything to them), put it on ebay and post to others they can get a cheap good case there for the HD2 ;-)

I had a look on the website, and the cases look very professional. I have ordered one for my new HTC HD2, which arrives tomorrow.
Cheers!

I've just ordered it, from the UK! Its from a company on Ebay for £15 with free delivery. As ghl10000, I've had some of their products before and l'm using my HD PDair case with my HD2, but decided to take the plunge once I found this on Ebay (and used my Ebay Plus Points voucher ) Had one for my N95 as well and have never been happier. Very high quality and perfect fit.

I've received today my pouch and it fits ... tight, but it fits. I've to use some force to close the pouch but I think it will fit better after some time. This is for me the first pouch which fits my hd2 with invisible shield and silicon case. I don't think a better protection is possible. I am to test it out the next days. The pouch itself is well made of soft leather. The only concern I have are the elastic sides of the pouch, but I am not to much concerned about this because I usualy buy a new phone every year. (one is already speaking of the hd3 for the end of the year?)
edit : I've removed the invissible shield on the screen because it is to soft for this pouch - it gives an 'impression' of the innerside skin of the pouch (where the magnet is). I've reinstalled an anti-glare screenprotector which gives no problems with this pouch. The invisible shield was also too reflective in the sun.
i got my alu case from pdair a few days ago (ebay 19 Eur) and have the following problem: it looks like that the elastic band which should protect the hd2 is a little bit too thick!!!
the effect is, that when i close the case, the lid pushed on the corners and a couple of contacts are executed (most in the corners) and the hd2 begins to react - looks like an animated film, but i can´t laugh!
they will ship me a new one (package was prized out with originated for htc/leo hd2)...

how good are these cases. anyone bought them? cant find reviews anywhere. they look nice but want to know the quality

Looks like this one:
http://www.netimes.com/shop/resin-soft-jelly-case-for-htc-hd2-t8585-htc-leo-p-2455.html
which I ordered and is in the mail. I'm not sure if anyone has reviewed it yet; will post when I get it.
i received mine from that company today. they sent me the wrong one. its for hd2 but different case, material & colour. fits great but i'm unhappy. it picks up dust like magnet.

this is hand made case
PDAIR is good Product but for me I choose Krusell rather then PDAIR.
I used PDair for my Imate 9502 and Krusell for HTC HD and now I'm looking for Krusell for my new HTC HD2
Guys -- This is my first post, I hope I'm in the right place. I was just visiting this forum to see what info might exist regarding the PDair Aluminium Metal Cases. I recently purchased one (Product Code: 1BHTH2B51) for my HTC HD2 and am extremely dissatsfied with it. I just want to add my comments in support of others who have previously also expressed dissatisfaction with this case. The problem is specifically the design of the case which permits the cover (with or without the plastic screen protector) to touch the perimeter of the telephone screen setting off various applications randomly (see attached video demonstration). The problem makes the telephone completely unusable while the cover is closed. I have emailed PDair to express my disatisfaction with the case design and their response has been evasive, to say the least. My honest advice would be to to steer well clear of the PDair Aluminium Metal Cases for the HTC HD2 until they are redesigned.

It might be helpful to anyone considering the PDair metal cases as opposed to the leather ones.
PDair Horizontal Vs Vertical
I'm swithering as to whither i should go for a vertical or horizontal PDair pouch for the HD2. I've previously had a horizontal pouch for older phones but the size of the HD2 concerns me, i'm thinking that the HD2 might sit less awkwardly if vertical. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

The best case would obviously be the Piel Frama iMagnum HTC HD2 case, its prolly also the most expensive one. Down side is the long delivery time, i am currently allready waiting for 2 weeks to receive mine.

I bought one of those cases from NETIMES.COM (http://bit.ly/6s1eNy) and it's quality. For less than £3 it's a steal! Quality fitting with great protection. Adds minimal bulk to the phone and is very durable. The scratch resistant screen of the HD2 takes care of itself and the case does the rest. Everyone who has an HD2 should buy this now. Top marks! 9/10.

The PDair luxury silicone case is great Does not pick up much dust at all due to the textured surface.... fits snugly without much play...
I wished someone would make a nice brushed aluminum and rubber hard back... a combination of those two materials would make for a beautiful backing/case for our HD2's

I bought this case here in the states, 4 day shipping. I really didn't want to spend this much for case, but wanted to protect hd2. This is best case I've ever seen, great fit, & protection, corners are real well protected. Very happy I decided to get it.
Awesome!!
I went for a rubberized one also by them instead.
never used a rubberized one before, this time i really wanna give it a try.
+1 for the Piel Frama iMagnum. I got a plain black one and it is by far the best case I have ever had, my friend (who also has the HD2) called me mad for paying so much for a case, but when he saw it, he promptly went out and ordered a custom model with his name on etc. The iMagnum range is beautifully made, perfectly designed and offers complete all round protection for the HD2, if you have don't mind paying that bit extra, I would strongly recommend it.
Would you suggest the cruzerlite androidified ones here
http://www.cruzerlite.com/cases/asus/nexus7/cruzerlite-androidified-clone-army-for-asus-nexus-7#
or the S type skidproof here
http://www.focalcase.com/google-asus-nexus-7-cases-google-asus-nexus-7-tpu-cases-c-199_206.html
This would mainly be extra protection until we get some high high end cases in the coming months, like 60-80$ quality stuff, note that that's indulgence price, I'm not trying to blow money away just get something with really high quality
So in the mean time, what's the best TPU case available for a reasonable price ??
Thanks!!

The Cruzerlit eone also one amazon with prime if you have it.
I'm sure you can pick up an S-line tpu case for $4 or $5 on eBay, why woud you pay $20? especially for a temporary case. I believe the Cruzerlite ones are better quality, but not $15 better.
they are plenty cheaper TPU cases ,check ebay or amazon .
I do not like fingerprint maker TPU case ,I had 1 before ,already bin it
So the Otterbox Defender looks like overkill, is the Siedio Active the N7 case most similar to the OB Commuter series? Is there anything else along these lines, that will offer more protection than a slim tpu/silicone backing but not so thick as the Defender?
Thanks...

The only thing that put me off the Defender for the N7 was the price, I bought the Seido Active and it really is excellent. That said I got a Defender for my phone because it was cheaper and I'd read bad reports about the active holster clip on the Seido for phones.

Thx. I am leaning towards Seidio. But with gen2 N7 coming in July, do I want to spend even $35 more on a case that I'll be using only for May and June? A lot of cases work for WiFi and not 3g of current N7, so I'd be surprised if those same cases fit the Gen2.
Other thing is before my last N7 shattered and I decided I needed a shell case, I already had this nice $40 Rickshaw custom sleeve in the mail. So I might just get a $10 Amzer or KaysCase TPU which I think will fit in the sleeve.
And then maybe a Seidio or Otterbox for the Gen2 Nexus...

Update, got the Seidio Active w/ Cover, love it. Otterbox Defender would have been too large for me, but I actually like the form factor w/ the Seidio installed.
Doesn't add *too* much bulk, it's abt 3/4" - 20mm thick with the case, but it's not noticeably too much wider, still comfortable to hold in one hand, avg sized hands anyway. And most importantly it gives the N7 a much sturdier feel, so I can have peace of mind when out and about.
I like the design, got the Royal Blue skeleton. Quality build and materials, not cheap-looking like some of the TPU cases, but still affordable at $35 (for the black)-$45 from Amazon w/ free prime shipping. Easy to install. Cutouts are good.
And the kickstand is pretty awesome. I like how the cover can snap on the back, in case maybe you're in a rush and don't have time to put it in your bag.
Very happy with this case. I hope it fits the gen2 N7, but if form factor changes I'd buy a new one anyway.

Firstly I don't work for this company nor am I being endorsee, check out my profile. Just sharing this case.
So I've previously used Spigen and other brand cases. Honestly, the quality is decent but way overpriced.
After I received my OP3 I preordered a Tudia case on Amazon. I swear by this case man. It's like the same quality as the Spigen case in the same class, light, effective, and protects well. You have no idea how many times I've dropped my phone at the gym and nothing is slightly wrong with it.
Thought you guys might be interested in seeing my simple thoughts of this case.

I have one of these from Amazon. Compared to the Pleson/LK condom cases and Ringke ones I have...too bulky
If you want more bang for your buck, you have to buy chinese brand case (all case are made in china anyway). And it make more sense for a chinese brand like Oneplus.
Nillkin and Imak are quite good for 5-10$ price range.
Does anyone know where i can buy (in the UK) the official Sony cases? I was looking for the one with the windows but no luck :/
https://www.mobilefun.co.uk/official-sony-xperia-1-ii-style-cover-view-case-black-81456
I have both the Spigen Armored case and the Sony Style Stand version.
Don't bother with the Sony one. It offers no protection on the sides or bottom. It also doesn't lift the screen off the table, like most other covers do.
I got the one with the window but its a dust magnet. Anyone got a solution>
The choice's limited for this phone, I was thinking about getting the sony without cover, but it's expensive and not available around here.
My Spigen Rugged Armor case just arrived today. I am very happy with its build materials, I just need my pre-ordered phone to arrive!
I got the Sprigen case, and I have to say, it might be the best on the market for this phone, but it's not a good case. As someone who has been using Otterboxes for a decade, I feel confident saying that this case looks like, feels like, and is objective, less protective. I, for one, will be buying the next hard case that is released by a reputable brand, and until then I might make myself a bubble wrap pocket for it.
I personally don't like "bulky" cases, especially for the thin design of the Xperia 1 II.
I'm hoping that UAG will design one for the Xperia 1 II, because that's the only "thicker" case I would buy.
I purchased both the Spigen Liquid Crystal and the Rugged Armor cases from Amazon.com.
Both fit well and have great experience with Spigen.
I just received my Amazon order for the Olixar Glass Screen Protector and Sentinal Case combo.
https://www.amazon.com/Olixar-Sony-...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=4Q0VNHMXCB98Z82EEP04
I know plan on returning the Spigen Rugged Armor case since it is still within the return period.
I think that owning two similar cases is redundant.
I bought the XQZ-CBA case from sony.fr for 67€ (express UPS). It looks and feels really nice. I love it.
Hey folks, if you're looking for some scratch protection you may wanna pop along to our website and check out our skins. We appreciate that our skins don't protect against impact drops but they do offer great protection against scratches.
Got my Sony Style with the kickstand version for around $16US from Amazon JP
i found this one and it looks _very_ nice, but its expensive and hard do get in europe: https://shopee.co.th/เคส-Deff-DURO-...ia-5-(สินค้าจากญี่ปุ่น)-i.56772443.3506515099
got this cheap case for fun.
