please help me..... i am very much scared....

i flashed 5faif ROM 1.4 using the guide everything went well, it even said update complete,
but to my surprise, when i rebooted, tattoo image came, 3 android animated icons came & htc logo also came.... then it went blank.... it got struck there....
i tried every option in the recovery.... i used maverixx's recovery image.... it says aborted.no matter whatever option you choose....
i am very much scared... please help me.... those who have flashed successfully, kindly input your invaluable advices.... help me get my tattoo back please....

Boot into recovery mode ( home plus power ).
Conect your tattoo to the pc and then follow this tutorial and flash it to the original rom.

thanks.. i did that... i was very much worried that i bricked my phone... now i am happy that i am returned to factory reset..... thanks

finally i am a happy man... i could install 5faif v1.4 ROM on my tattoo....
now i am yet to explore its pros & cons.... but i found it difficult to install applications... why is that ??? anyone knows why ????
anyway, feel is better.... & wifi connects pretty good.... & setcpu works perfectly...
i didnt try other root previlege requiring softwares..... willl let you know once i do that... thanks for the great guide by shazurl..... keep up the good work bro & to others who are actively involved in developing android softwares & tweakers... thumbs up....

You could try cachemate (delete cache) and root explorer that need root.

Hai guys I need help badly , here's the story, I bought my Samsung Galaxy S few weeks ago and I love it, few days ago I connected my Galaxy S and opened the Samsung Kies and it said there's update available for the firmware, so i went on and click it, then the whole upgrading firmware started. Then i checked the firmware, it is android version 2.2 aka Froyo. I was happy at first , but then i realise my phone lag badly! i cant pull down notification drawer, the drawer will stuck and in order to use my phone, i have to click the back button, so that the stucked drawer will close, and i cant type properly, lag lag and lagggs! WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED GUYS? CAN ANYONE ANSWER ME PLEASE? IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIX THESE LAGS? should'nt Froyo be faster and better? please please i need help... should I use Anvanced task killer or anything?
p/s: im from Malaysia anyway, anybody from Malaysia had the same problem? please anyone help me please

maybe boot into recovery and clear cache/dalvich cache and factory reset.

Just instal a lag fix like voodoo 5

First thing you should do is a complete factory/data reset. The upgrade process isn't very good

Hai, so if i reset the phone it'll go back to Eclair? and then connect again to Kies and update to Froyo again?

@ gadget check: Hai erm is that available in the market? the voodoo 5?

Just search for it on XDA and u will get all the steps to speed up ur SGS

I think the things he is experiancing is more than lag its as above mentioned upgrading can leave things slow and reseting clearing cache etc is recomended.
Turn phone off then hold down power volume up and the middle button till it goes into recovery also you could use quick boot from the market its free and it will boot into recovery if the 3 button mode doesnt work.
No it wont put you back to 2.1 but may wipe contacts apps etc but the plus is a clean start.

help my phone cannot start due to my well stupidity i have to admit, i click temporary root using z4root on my SGS and used the android mart's voodoo lagfix, after that it reboot itself and then now it keep stuck at the black and white wordings(the one that appear when u rebooting phone), i am now in recovery mode, saw the working android and the word downloading, but it's taking ages! please help me and tell me what to do Crying!
should I connect it to USB? i clicked USB debugging before this happened, oh my please helps!

i had the same problem with vodoo fix. what i did was, i flashed my sgs again for xxjp3 & downloaded the OCLF (one click lag fix) from market & run.
i have got the qudrant score of 1700. hope it will help

hey thanks for replying, but my problem is that my phone is stucked at this screen where an adroid is working and the word downloading appears, and my phone wont start , any idea? did i just bricked my phone?

Hi all,
Please help me out.I brought my phone 1 week back and installed cyanogenmod 7 on it.But after using it I thought its not so good in terms of look.So I decided to revert it back.I downloaded andoird 2.2 firmware from LG website and used KDZ to install it.But when I was installing it phone restarted automatically and LG logo appears and a black screen came.I tried to install many time but still stuck on this.Please help me..I blocked my internet connection and I tried with different modes like emergency and diag and disabled LG modem in device manager.Nothing is working.Please help me and whether I can get it to LG service center and whether they can find it out that I flash my phone.So that I can repair it telling it is in warranty.Please help me guys.This is my first android phone.

Did your button always flashing? What ROM version did you use?

yes the buttons are always flashing after LG logo and when I get the black screen I
am using V10A_00.kdz india version.Please help me

Please don't be panic, it also happening to me few times ago...

Find another version of ROM, try V11B.

Speed dont work after flashing

Hey guys,
I hope u can help me. I flashed my phone and it works some hours and go off.. after this I can't started it, no S/W update appears..the screen was black.. but it started in the APX mode.. but got no connection to the phone. all drivers r installed. sometimes it works on the "nvflash" so I updated it but it hang up.. so the update was not compled. now the nvflash show me that it got some bad files and wont start or do something. i tried every program that could help but no one was helpful... do u guy know what to do?
ps: im sorry 4 my bad english..
