Some people on the NC Developers forum were reporting codec issues with 1.1, including failure to play mp3s. I suspect that's the problem you're encountering.
As far as sirius, it just say updating, it opens up and everything like normal, as info pandora and poweramp work fine, and movies play fine on stock and rockplayer
Same problem here, just updated my NC to the rooted version 1.1.0 of the firmware and my XM app just stays on searching for updates and never starts. It worked under rooted firmware 1.0.1. I uninstalled and reinstalled the XM app from the marketplace, which did not make a difference.
Recent update seems to help...
I followed the directions for putting the new 1.1r2 update for NC and rooting it to open it up. After that, I installed the Slacker Radio app and it's working fine on my NC. I'm able to cache as many stations as my SD card can hold (though I've limited it to 5 stations) and it recognizes my account.
I've also turned off/shut down my cell phone services on it for battery savings so perhaps that's helping out.

Went to Marketplace yesterday and saw that there was an update for
Spotify... installed it of course hoping for all these new great features...
Today I noticed that all my Playlists are greyed out and when I try to
play a song I get the message that I can't stream over 2G... and I don't
believe that this was a problem before the update... am I wrong?

Erm. To put it bluntly, you're wrong, you could never stream over 2G. They didn't list any new features in the change log as far as I remember, so I'm not sure why you'd expect those.
Hoping... not expectimg.... hope is the last thing that abandon us, right?
I have been streaming this way b4 and further investigations show that I had the same
issue over WiFi... it's solved all together now though....
My Premium account had expired.... sorry. Weird that it would'nt
just tell me that though...

I just checked for Spotify on Market and it seems to have disappeared!
Anyone else having issues trying to use slacker radio? I have a xoom wifi version, and I've been able to download the app, but it NEVER does anything after attempting to log in. I've tried reinstalling several times and still nothing. It stopped showing up in the android market, and I redownloaded it from the amazon appstore. But it still doesn't seem to work. Anyone else having this issue or know a way to resolve it? Also, my xoom is not rooted or modified.
I have 3g xoom and have yet to experience any issues hopefully things workout for you
Thank you Amazon App Store For My Slacker Radio!!!
I also have a wifi Xoom, and until last night I have been racking my brains on how to get Slacker Radio to fully work. It's now gone from my Xoom's market. So while i was getting my free daily app on the Amazon market, I decided to search for Slacker. Bam! There it was, knowing for sure it wasn't gonna work anyway I downloaded it. It found the one I had installed for the day I got my Xoom Version 2.1.170 I believe. It installed version Version 2.1.191. It opened and let me sign in. No blank screen, there were the channel list. Now I can give it some more love, now we just need a functional Netflix apk.
Couldn't install it from Android Market, but installed and worked fine from Amazon Market.
the new 3.0 version skips songs every 10 second or so. Anyone else having this issue?
Found a thread with the .apk but it doesn't seem to work. I can get it installed; however, it gives me an error with just about every action I try. Any help? Running TNT Lite v4.4.
I actually posted the same question. I got it from the market and was really looking forward to having access to on demand. Anytime I try to do anything I get a unknown error has occurred. I haven't contacted them yet, but I am wondering if a 3G connection is required. On their site it does say that the app requires an android phone 2.1 or 2.2, so that is why I am thinking it needs 3G.
As I told markmac in his post, I was able to open an use the Xfinity app fine on my gtab running the stable CM7 released yesterday.
Works fine, running vegan tab gingerbread rc1. Did have tnt and tried, was a no go.

I get the same error on the Vegan GB ROM.
Last night i flashed the latest Vegan Gingerbread rom and still having the same issue. Just to me clear, my issues are with the Xfinity TV app not the Xfinity Mobile app.
Apoligize, app not working, had themobile. Most functions work.from there website which was strange.
No go on this stock tablet. Unknown error on both sign-in and searching for the channel listing. FWIW their mobile app doesn't work either.
Tried this on my Vegan-Tab 5.1.1 and while I was able to download it from the Market after running the "fix" I too get the unknown error.
I also can't seem to get access through their website despite being a paid customer for all of Xfinity's content. Every movie/tv show that I try hangs at "obtaining authorization"...
Is this the app to control your DVR remotely ?
or
To watch On Demand ?
From my GTab: I just log into Xfinity website and watch shows direclty. Admittedly I only tried it a few times and I probably didn't hit enough videos to cover all three video playback formats.

I'm guessing that you're hitting Comcast's ceiling of three registered playback devices. If you go into your profile & see 3 devices, delete one.
I appreciate the suggestion but I have no registered playback devices, the GTab would be the first.

I tried going to the website and watching movies, but they never loaded. Min got past the authorization part. I am running Vegan GB.
What ROM are you using?
cm7 errors too
I switched from Vegan to CM today to get netflix working. Was happy to get Netflix, but get errors galore still with xfinity tv.... Anyone found a way?
Error is invalid IMEI problem
I finally got the Xfinity TV app Working! The problem was an invalid IMEI error (although it didn't say that). I found a link to a solution for the Nook Color here: http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/188...91598__hl__xfinity__fromsearch__1#entry191598
Now working on Bottle of Smoke a6.0
Hey guys,
You can find a summary of what I've done to my HTC One in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48582638.
On top of that, I've changed my Cell ID to the Google Play version (GOOGL001), I flashed the RUU with the Google Play version RUU, and I've installed the 4.4.2 OTA update from Google's servers.
Everything else works fine. Just when I'm connected to WiFi, videos don't load or stream. I've tried connecting to three different WiFi sources (my house, my work, my parents') just incase there was an IP conflict or something; and still the same problem.
None of the apps that stream video work (YouTube, Vevo, Android's Video Player, etc.), except for Vine. I should mention that video streaming works on any browser, it's just the Android apps that don't work.
Do you think this is a problem with what I've done to my phone, the 4.4.2 OTA update, or something else?
Thanks.
- Brian
I've tried troubleshooting some more and still nothing!
Does anyone know of an HTC One ROM directly from Google? Or can anyone help me out in any other way?
Hi Guys.
I just recently got the AA update to the 7.3 version, and suddenly the Google Podcast App is not working anymore in AA, I'm getting the message that the App is not ready or something similar, I will try to get a picture of the message and share it later...
Someone else is having the same problem? - Any workaround to fix it?
Thank you!!
So do I! Since this week.
Same, it worked the first day I had my new car but now it won't open. Other apps seem to work fine such as YouTube Music

Yes, others apps seems to work, however today I noticed that Waze was running with a message of being offline, but my phone was getting data and working properly...
I Need to check if it's a persistent issue.
So, today it magically started to work!
Now Google podcast App is working normally in AA 7.3
Waze is working ok as well, but sometimes it marked itself as offline "no internet connection".

This is good news. I am having the same issue with the app not working so hopefully it will be fine for my drive to work. I've been using Spotify which I don't like because I can't reorder my podcast lists.

It seems to be ok now. I didn't find a good alternative, so I am relieved.
