have you heared about java?
java scripts?
Start with Eclipse and the Android SDK. That'll keep you busy for a bit. Watch out because some newer vesions of Eclipse don't play nice with the SDK. Once you get that installed and create a virtual Android on your PC then google "android and java" that'll find you a million or 2 links to learn about programing in Java and using it with the Android platform.
whats sdk
how do u get a virtual android
You should be more serious..

lol well i have windows and linux dual booting on both laptop and desktop lol
Run as sudo
If it still doesn't work,then
Menu>Users and Groups>assign your account administrator and root permissions.
Might not be completely accurate as I am not using Ubuntu right now

get a nexus 7
really??...we can install Ubuntu on our 2x???
http://www.ubuntu.com/devices/phone I hope we will can in future. Today Canonical released the mobile ubuntuOS. A smartphoneOS for arm based mobiles using Android drivers...let's hope that they will support our phones.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch
The awesome thing is that UbuntuOS works as smartphone OS on a mobile, but if you connect the mobile to a monitor/TV you get the full fledged ubuntu experience.

Maybe you should have kept using your old phone..
This tool allows you to input the desired project name, package name, app name, minimum API levels and Class name and it will generate an Eclipse project for making an Xposed Module, it will set up dependencies for you. It will then create the project and you can imprt to eclipse. It is written in Java for cross-platform compatibility and anyway if you are making Xposed Modules, then surely you have Java installed....

Thanks OP for this! Was hoping it was a plugin instead. but this will work for now I already sort of did something like this, but just kept everything as "default" and would change the names after importing to eclipse. Would really like an eclipse plugin that would automatically create the project inside eclipse. I was planning on making one just havent gotten to it. I like this jar tho

I installed Ubuntu 14.04 and i can't get Eclipse working on it, so I'm a bit stuck. I'm really sorry but you might have to wait until the weekend.
OK do this download eclipse manually and for example eclipse Kepler and configure install the ADT bundle from zip not the link may be it would work. I was having the same problem when I upgraded too
