Not so fast data. 1.3 dl on 3g and .57 up but best gps so far accurate to 13ft inside my house

Data seems solid
granted I am in an area where speed is good to begin with.

I'm in the Chicago area and my data speed seems unchanged, but gps got a solid lock instantly in my house. Usually gotta turn on wifi to get that. Nice!

In my house got 1.8mbps which is a bit higher than usual for me here.
GPS locked 6/11 in 21sec, which is also good but not unheard of in my room.
m'eh. I'll keep it for now.
So far so good data is a bit faster than on ka7 on my vibrant. and i am getting another bar for signal than usual so a signal improvement as well. how this effects battery i havent a clue. and where are all this leaks coming from lol samsung is a wierd company but they do make some good products they just need to step up there software game

Well the carriers still need to test, remove Wifi Tethering, etc. So it may still be a few weeks, but it's definitely a very positive change.

Werd, I installed bionix last night, love it...can't wait for them to do 2.2..
gonna be hard to pick between official tmo / bionix / cm....
It's nice to see samsung is willing release the source code, hopefully we get eugene or bionix rom soon.
site is getting hammered... correct me if i am wrong but without source code for the kernal we are stuck in the same boat as with the froyo jp3 currently available. Can anyone confirm if the code released includes the kernal?
looks like only the I-9000 got this, SGH-T959 still looks to be 2.1

I will concede that Samsung seems to be releasing it in a timely manner vs HTC who seems to wait as long as possible.

I didn't think anyone had gotten there and the one reason I've been waiting for CM. Admittedly, I haven't paid that much attention to all the available ROMs, so maybe I missed others.

I would be completely happy, but then the only problem we'd have is the battery drain, which really isn't a problem for me since I usually have a plug near me where I can charge my phone.
