Google Maps 5.1 - G Tablet Themes and Apps

I updated to 5.1 on my GTab running BitTrix CM7.
FC on start.
Cleared data and am still getting the FC.
Anyone else updated?

Updated to 5.1 on TnT Lite 4.2.1 with no issues.
I had previously applied the Multitouch-Tilt-Pan-Rotate fix. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=936545

Installed on VEGAn 5.1 beta with no issues...
Also I had previously installed the multi-touch patch.

Has anyone gotten KIK messenger working?

I am running Vegan B5.1 and I keep getting FC's on Kik. Has anyone got this working? If so, how? What rom are you using, and what method for install? (ADB, Ti Backup, Package Installer etc.)
Any help would be appreciated.
only in the new CM7...
Any update
I have the stock ROM and kik does not run on it at all. Immediate force close on launch. Has anyone got this working on the gtablet stock rom?
Thanks!
I have had Kik working in any of the CM roms for the g-Tablet. Could not get it working on stock TNT, TNT lite (only tried on version 4.2 and below) and the VEGAn builds. Have not tried Notion Ink or Caulkins roms.

Not coming up in the market for me with either device I have but the leaked version works great for me, no sound issues what so ever.
I don't see in on the gTab running VEGAn beta 5.1.1 or on my Droid X.
my Flash 10.2 leak works wonderfully. no issues with sound.
Didn't come up on mine either running tnt lite 4.2.4. But done a search in the market for "flash" and it popped right up. Hopefully this helps…?
Updated from the market without a hitch with vegan 5.1.1
flash 10.2
I'm running Vegan5.1.1 and had no trouble updating from the market.
Sorry didn't mean to post twice

[Q] Slacker radio not working after rom flash...?

Well, I was running Vegan 5.1.1 and the tab was feeling a little glitchy, so I decided to do a clean wipe and reflash it. I loaded Vegan 5.1.1 again and loaded clemsyn's kernel. Now, slacker will make the screen go black after I log in. I can't do anything but press home to get out of it. Anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

Which version of Clemsyn's Kernel? Today's latest update?
Originally, it was an older kernel, but today I tried the new version he just put out. Still a no go.
Same problem
I, too, have this problem with Slacker. I just got his tablet yesterday. I immediately put Clockwork on, and flashed TnT Lite 4. Slacker was a no-good. I went to VEGAn 5 next, and both Slacker and Google Voice aren't working.
Add me to this list...i am on vegan experimental and pershot (0324)
I flashed my backup I created from December of the stock rom and Slacker works. I got excited and flashed Vegan 5.0 again, didn't work. I'm now running Calkulin's 1.1, which is great, but Slacker still doesn't work.
Running tnt 5.0 and i'm in the same boat. Does anyone know of a ROM that Slacker works on?
Me too. Vegan Rom
I'm running TnT 4.32 with clemsyns V6 kernel and slacker works great for me. Its worked on every ROM I've flashed, been using it pretty solid for about 2 months now.

What version of slacker are you running?
I'm running 2.1.170 and like I said, no problems whatsoever.
I couldn't get 2.1.180 from Amazon appstore to work, but the 2.0.140 from the Handango gmarket works for me. I am not sure which version Google market has.

That's the version I think I downloaded when I went back to stock and had it working. I'm going to give that a try right now.
Any chance of getting an APK of that?
That worked. Apparently, something changed in the newer versions of the app not allowing it to run on the tab.
Here's a link for 2.0.140

Works Great! WOOHOO!
I'll give it a try when I get home. Thanks for the post!
This fixed it for me! Thanks a lot!
Worked great! Many thanks

I'm glad it's working for everyone.

Issues with latest Amazon MP3

After upgrading to the latest version of Amazon MP3 to my gtab (Running Vegan GB), I can can see files/music fine. But I always get a FC when I actually try to play music through it. Anyone else seeing this issue?
Scott
Same. I stepped back to 2.0.2 and it works. But yeah, it appears that the attempt to use the Gingerbread sound system isn't working correctly with Vegan Ginger.
FWIW, I just tested it on VEGAn 5.1.1 and everything worked fine.

Uninstall current amazon then find the 2.02 apk.

Yeah, that's to be expected. There's apparently some kind of new sound subsystem in Ginger/Honey that 2.0.3 and up are using. If you have 2.2, it won't try to use it.
I'm curious, though, if anyone with the other Ginger roms could weigh in. Maybe it's something that go corrected as Cyanogen went forward to 7.0.1 or 7.0.2.
I am running Vegan 7.0.0 RC1 and I am having the same issue. I know it worked when I first got the tablet so it must be something to do with the update.
*Update* I did roll back to 2.0.2 end everything works fine again.
Yeah, 2.0.4 uses the new audio system in gingerbread/honeycomb. The newer versions of CM (7.0.3 certainly) don't have the issue.

Google Experience Launcher

So apparently anyone running 4.1 or higher can install and use the new GEL(Google Experience Launcher).
I got it running on my Captivate using CyanogenMod 10.1.3.
You need to have Google Search updated to the latest version. I updated it before I downloaded/installed the GEL apk.
Here's a link to the article/download.

I got it working the day it came out... Its nice for sure, but laggy compared to Trebuchet/Launcher2. I was on CyanAOSP SuperNexus
Very basic Launcher with very limited options.
