[Q]ESPN Radio App - G Tablet Themes and Apps

Is anyone able to get the ESPN radio app working on their GTab? I am running Vegan and the app opens but won't connect. I am able to use the Pod casts portion but not the radio portion. Any help would be appreciate.

Try the Public Radio App
I am using the Public Radio Live Stream app and I am listening to ESPN Bristol CT (ESPN Radio) Sports and it is working fine on my tablet. I do have a bit of an echo in my bluetooth headphones but sounds OK with a regular headset. I also am listening to a college radio station's stream that would only come in over Miren browser and not the standard browser, Skyfire, Opera or Dolphin HD. That's cool since their stream in in a swf player (and my son is the DJ a little later). Try that with an iPad.

works perfectly, thank you.

Dowloadiiiiiiiiing now.
Works perfect.
You need an account from SIRIUS.
7-days trial account here http://www.sirius.com/sirius/servlet/MediaPlayerRegistration?stream=
I guess with few email addresses this can hold for a while.
Sirius CE works 100% on my wizard. No landscape.
Make sure you have TCMP codec on your device.

As far as I know, you don't need the TCMP codec. It will still stream through WMP but he discovered that TCMP can decode the streams as well, so he added the option to use either app for streaming.
I haven't loaded TCMP yet because the last time I loaded it on the stock Cingular ROM, it ran like absolute turd.
Nice sirius app!!!
Wish that it would work via gprs but I guess it would be laggy...
Also wish sirius would allow the broadcasting of more channels via the net.
Stern via stream on the 8125 would be choice!!!
streams fine OTA
I live in an area that has not even upgraded to edge, but howard streams fine on my wiz via GPRS, there is an app that will send all audio from the handset to any paired BT headset, even tho its mono it works well as an indoor solution for portable sirius. get some stereo headphones and you,ve got a portable sirius player...
I think the app is called btaudio.cab
bhang

Stream music library over wifi

Is there an app that works to stream music from my pc to my GTab? I would prefer iTunes type interface; something with genre selection and playlists.
TIA
Try upnplay, in the market - it should work with any uPnP compatible server. It's really the only "open" option we have, at the moment.
The only issues I've had so far is that it doesn't like Vorbis files, but I am probably the minority here as far as Vorbis support is concerned.
Audio Galaxy will stream from your PC. You do run a program on your PC and it only does mp3s.
Sent from my Viewsonic 10" GTab...
you guys rock. thanks so much. i just finished putting 2.4 on one machine and one more to go. both are presents.
I realize I'm a bit late to the party, but I use Subsonic. Flawless streaming from my pc to my android device.

+1 on Audio Galaxy
gmote is good for streaming over wifi and also streaming when outside of your own home when you setup port forwarding. not only does it stream audio it also will stream videos if you use rockplayer as the video player.
because of this thread, i downloaded audiogalaxy yesterday. im already addicted. i was in my truck, watching my sons soccer practice in the rain, using my gtablet (while tethered to my droid) to listen to whatever music i wanted off of my home computer.
technology never ceases to amaze me.
I like Subsonic. I don't like the fact that AudioGalaxy uses a centralized site instead of allowing you to go straight to your computer. With Subsonic, you run everything so you have more control (but some people find setup harder).

+1 for Subsonic
I love having access to my entire music collection at any time in any location. My gTab was delivered today and this will be one of the first apps I install right after throwing VEGan-tab on it.

Xiia Live

For those of you who like streaming audio, and tried Winamp to no avail, there is an app I've been using since D1 called Xiia Live that works perfectly. Please add this app to the working apps section if you don't mind.
I can't seem to figure out how to get Winamp to find the streams? Does anyone know?
Slacker radio works too!
Wunder Radio works also

ORB problem

Anyone use orb? I use it on my Droid x and it streams just fine but on the gtab I get video but no audio. Anyone know what to do?
thanks
Also when I try to play audio files orb force closes
I'm using Orb with my Gtab to watch TV from my HAVA box, and it works ok. I had to configure a user in Orb to use the Flash player. I installed the Orb software a LONG time ago, so it's an older version.
