Also to have transparent status bar on adw ex go to adwsettings > general behavior > system prefs. > uncheck wallpaper hack

I'm pretty sure that your system needs to be deodexed to run themes. The stock release from Kaos is not deodexed.

Can you fix the alarm clock. it still has the REVO green bells, lol drives me nuts, if not no biggy I'm just a stickler

I have this same problem for some reason my phone does not like the transparent dialer from the matted blues theme ... btw I've tried on both the stock leak and superclean0.7 with same results

couple things:
with the notification bar hidden when it is pulled down it keeps artifacts that used to be on that part of the screen. maybe this will just be a bug with transparent notifications bars?

I always watched out for a simple nice black theme without so much different stuff in it.
So I took the nicest icons from different themes, improved some things and created a new package.
Its fully compatible to Dwang 1.17.1.
Attention (for all with black screens after boot):
Don't flash this theme over a fresh/wipe install of dwang (or maybe others) run the rom once, do the startup configuration, reboot and THEN flash the theme.
I also clear the Dalvik-Cache after flashing the theme (just in case).

This theme runs smooth on the dwang 1.17.1 i didnt have to wipe or nothing i just threw it on top of the rom and rebooted it did its lil 2 min load and everything works fine so far further testing needs to be done but all the basic are cover nicely nice theme hopefully u improve on it more

Just flashed it on Super D 1.1x, got stuck for 10mn now on cyan boot screen.
Did no wipe first, coming from a mix of darkstar, minus and melangette metamorph.
Will wipe everything, clean re-flash super D and try again. Will update soon.

Works very well on super D after a full wipe. This is a beautiful theme, simple and well made. A few nice wall paper two. Icons are from eclair. Music widget similar to darkstar. Nice.

Do you flash the theme directly over a fresh wipe?
Try to boot in CM first then reboot and flash it again.
Else I will provide you a different package for CM.

Well I told in the startup post that I took different stuff from different roms.
I don't know anymore where I all got it from, since I used so much different artworks. Sometimes only 2 icons, sometimes more.
I just want to give the community the option to use my combination of that. I am not hunting for credits etc. I will add it to the start post.

It doesn't work for 4.2.11.1 I flashed after a clean flash meaning wipe an installing htc an cyn rom an I got the black screen to its made for dwangs rom so I figured it wouldn't work just experimenting lol

You should probably read the first post. This rom is for Dwangs.
Is there a mirror with for this theme? Rapid share has servers overloaded.

Question.. why am i getting two seperate SMS notifications? One has the new eclair icon, and the other has the old cupcake Icon... I also noticed I cant shut off the old white SMS notification... only the new one?
It also doesnt reset when i read messages so i have to hit the clear button. kinda annoying... would be nice if we had a inverted eclair icon (white bubble with black smile)

im an idiot. i just realized "beautifull widgets sms" widget was causing a second notification... sorry!
I did NOT create this theme and take no credit for it. I only ported it to work with DL30.

What color would you like the 3G icon to be when it is dormant? It is set to turn white when dormant and grey when connected.
I will add another option for clock removal and work on putting the puzzle back on for you. Will update OP when done. Shouldnt be long.
Man your the best. I just assume the 3g icon stay the same when dormant as when active. Is that possible

Isnt the dialer allready transparent? If not somehow mine is maybe transparent myst did it and it didnt switch it when i went to this theme or maybe this dialer is transparent also. Let me know if someone would.

the dialer isnt themed in this one. so you will keep what ever dialer you had before. samething with the setting menu and any thing else that isnt themed.
Well that's cool. I tell you what if you install trans Myst v4 and then install this theme it look Mega super awesome!!!! Just wanted to say that.
Will work on an old skool lookin dialer.

Looks awesome. One issue; the 's' on the notification pull-down is off-center...not sure if that's the theme or the fact that I have my lcd density set to 182 instead of the normal 240.

Wow thanks for the updated version already, already took care of some of the issues I was going to report! Threw you a few bucks. Have a few minor nit picks:
1.) Pop ups like the task manager and powering off message are opaque, I believe on previous iterations they were semi transparent
2.) I notice you got rid of the black text on the grey background in the notification pull down. However, one bit of black text remains - on the app name and download percentage that appears during the download phase of a market install of an app.

I noticed that after reflashing your theme, the transitions are gone now, I'm assuming they need to be integrated to prevent this.

I might suggest starting to refer to your tweaks/additions as versions (ie this might be v1.4, original was 1.0, etc), and then updating the thread title so people know it's been updated - and appending the version number to the file name so we know which file on our phone is what revision. Just a suggestion Thanks for the updates!

I like the Blackout Theme! Nice!
One non-issue issue I found was that the Epic unlock screen has the icon missing. No biggie. Works fine otherwise.
Edit: After first boot with the theme, I was playing around with the wi-fi toggle in the pull down menu and it started to hang things up. Had to do a battery pull. Everything working ok so far now.
Is there any way you can do this with your swype theme? Yours is very close, but I'm really hung up on the grid pattern. It was on Precision 2.0 and I've had it with me ever since. The problem is that for me to bring it along, I have to do some quirky stuff to install it, so would be very cool if you would consider it packaged in your theme just to make life easier.

The thing is, not sure if it's a easy as just including in your theme. I had to uninstall current swype.apk and libswypecore files, reboot, then download beta swype, delete the com.swype.inputmethod file in /data/app folder, THEN transfer the themed swype apk and lib files, and reboot (sometimes) to get it to work.
If I didn't do it this way the keyboard would still pop up, but you could only tap the keys to type. Swyping wouldn't work.
I told ya it was quirky.

Yeah, was thinking of pulling that one, but wouldn't feel right without driving Serendipity.

This is a more or less minimal theme for Oxygen 2.1.4.
Changelog: (28.06.11):
-notification bar made transparent with some minor changes
-Dialer totally themed with glossy icons.background of incoming/outgoing calls is pure black( i9020 users will surely notice the difference)
-Contacts apk totally themed with glossy icons and green colour
- some additional framework changes.
Many glossy icons were handmade by me; if you notice some irregularities, please let me know.
Changelog:
- Green gingerbread-like icons in settings
- Green scroll bar
- Orange glow has been changed to green
- Most of the orange has been changed to green but there is work left( volume for eg).
- colourful icons in the menu.
-colourful icons in lock menu.
- glossy slider for lockscreen
- battery icon from Rover theme
- some other small changes such as greenwhite cursor on keyboard, the ongoing process circle is now green....
-Totally reworked status bar ( took me actually 2 days to edit all these 9.png files in gimp), the attatched screenshots gives you an idea.
-Totally black notification window.

tested on cm7 nightly for ya, dialer and notification do nothing, and clock causes boot loop

Semi transparent means that the notification bar is half transparent and not completely transparent.

you just have to install the rom once again on top of this and you'll get back to the stock look.
