Darkedge theme for sense roms

Its called DARKEDGE theme, works on droid phones,has all black backgrounds with white text, can any themer here could bring it to sense roms for htc desire ? donation will follow !! thanks in advance . any help would be very apreciated .

Never liked people polling for "yes" and "no'". Looks great. Port it over. I want to give it a go.

i will donate for this. maybe ask the guy who designes this to help port it for other phones?

I asked him..he is on vacation rightnow, he told me that he will start when he is back home.He can actually works on the framework-res he said..the apps take a long time..step by step, but it would be already nice to have the framework modded already.if he sees interest to port from people, then he will surely port it 100% .

i started on this long ago when i had hero. i forgot where i put the files, and working on other things i forgot about it. i want to port it to cm6 for evo. that would be very easy. not sure there was a sense version so it will be more difficult to make the sense port version of it.

[Q] Help create a Steampunk theme...?

Ok folks, my friend just got a hero and we were talking about why to root. I showed him several ROMs from this site and all the cool themes. We got to talking about how cool it would be if there was a STEAMPUNK themed ROM out there.
Here's the rub... I SUCK at theming.
I looked at the "buufed" rom and I like some of the style, but it's just not quite what I'm looking for. Props to the developer of that ROM because it's very thorough. This is the depth I'd like the Steampunk theme to have, but I just don't know how to do it. I've never built a ROM from the ground up, so I don't even know where to start.
Is anyone out there interested in a project like this, or could someone help me know what to do?

Ok... I have a great deal of respect for all you devs and themers out there. This is a beast. Time-consuming and not very forgiving...
I have started working on my steampunk theme. Here are some screenshots of what I've done so far. By no means is this a complete theme. I am using ZenHeroFX 2.0 by nfinitefx45 as my base. Credit to all artists/devs for their work.
I have themed the notification pull-down as well, but I don't have a screenie of that yet. Also, I themed the stock sense rosie, but (again) no screencap yet. I'm curious what y'all think...

Wow. You're a fast learner! Here are some clear notification bar icons that I made. You can use them so that the black squares wont show up around the icons in the notification bar. Just unzip the zip file, and you'll see the folders that the icons are supposed to go into. Good luck!

This is looking really good. Here's another theme I found a while back that has some of the same elements of csrom and your current build. I've never used it, but maybe something in there will help you, or maybe this dev can help you.

sadly though, I am using CM6 or AOSP, so would not actually end up using it, but I will be watching this thread for S&Gs anyway. the end result should look spectacular.
if I could add one "suggestion"? Get rid of the "branding" (SteamMod in big letters on the lockscreen?), I would think ppl would rather have something less intrusive in the look. I know I would. something clean and mechanical. just a IMHO kinda suggestion, great work regardless!

No problem-o... I appreciate the suggestion. Funny thing, too... I was using some of the mods from this on my daily use, and I thought "I need to take off that lettering 'cuz it's getting on my nerves." I'm just going to use it as the splash screen when sense loads rather than on the lock screen.
I have to take a break from this for a couple of days, but hopefully I can work on it some next week. Here's where I'm going to have most of my problems... DISTRIBUTION. I can theme my own phone b/c I know what I'm editing... I just am not sure how to make it so others can use it without bricking their phone. Any ideas? I hate Metamorph... was thinking more of a flashable zip? Or maybe just a themed version of a full ROM? ??

its the blue version of the red galaxy theme i have....i was planning to do it at some point, depending on how complete the original is (the red one needed A LOT of work)
ill take a look at it today or tomorrow....but it might not get done til after new years

I don't actually take donations,,but thanks ......my thing with donations.are they should go to either the original creator of a theme or to the.guys who really make things happen on this phone...ie kernels, roms, mods
But i did take a look at the framework yesterday...,and it needs a lot of work....it looks like many of the system images were ripped from a lighter blue theme that doesn't match the status bar really at all....and the data images are just blue ones from theme kitchen....not blue ones from themed from the original red theme
Im not saying i wont/can't due it....it just might take awhile as i can't due a lot on vacation or my wife wouldnt be to happy.

ultimately i decided not to do this theme as now that aosp is out my time is kinda taken up by porting stuff to that...and really no offense to the guy who made this, but...imo it was kinda all over the place with the images it contained...it seemed they came from multiple themes and didnt match
id pretty much have to do the entire thing myself over...and probably by the time i did it, dj05 would be a distant memory or something

So I found this theme on the Evo thread by Abu and I really would like to use this theme. I am pretty new to this whole thing and was wondering if that is possible to get on the vibrant. here is the theme.

WOWWWWWW!!! That is simply beautiful. If you need help testing it on an MDPI screen, I would be more than happy to do it. This blows out any theme I've seen for UberMusic.

I don't know hor far you're going with apktool, recompiling and this hacky stuff, but if you're good with this, you might find powerAmp a better app to start with.
Basically it has all or almost all features you need, so it would be a matter of rewireing the actuall app to the new ui you want to implement with a skin.
More complicated than making an ubermusic skin, but also more rewarding.
Thing is, nobody really likes reading bytecode, I guess.
Try with the UM skin first. I'll gladly try it. +1 for testing volounteers.

I think it looks "iPhonish" because the tabs are on the bottom. If people want it I will make one with tabs-on-top.

I had a look at poweramp: it would be really hard to implement this interface. Playerpro has all the elements in it that are needed for this look (minus the letter separator but that's not a biggie). Anyway I finally figured out what was wrong with recompiling. I used apkmanager. That was the problem because it's bundled with a horribly out of date version of apktool, I updated it and now it works. Beta is coming soon so watch this thread

It will be out in 2-3 weeks at last. It depends on the feedback from the beta that will be announced later this week.
