Looks sick. Downloading and flashing now. FWIW, I personally like the mesh, the only thing i might change is the GPS icon in the pulldown shade, I prefer something more satellite-ish. But that's just me. Awesome theme.

Yeah I thought the same thing, was thinking of going a lil bigger with them and maybe making them stand out more while turned on and off. Background in the app is called Nexus Kang. Check it out in the market.
I very rarely ask for anything, but I would love it if you made a version with a clock if its an easy change, if not, no big deal.

Yeah, so finally got it on my phone. The shade icons for wifi/gps/etc. could be a little bigger. You could even consider getting rid of the text altogether to create space for bigger icons. Otherwise it looks sick

One other nit picky thing....the text in the shade is black, and on the black background you can't really see it....might want to think about doing a light grey or off-white or white for the text in the notification shade

Since you asked for opinions....
1. Like has been stated, increase status bar icons (change GPS icon) and perhaps even remove the text.
2. Black text in status bar against black background...80%k would be good
3. I, personally, am not a fan of the "GALAXY S" on the bottom of the status bar...personal preference.
4. BIG Personal opinion here...but something like this for the keyboard?? Maybe?? (be happy to help with it if others like it (I am a designer, not a coder...so you would have to tell me what you need)

First off, thanks to acejoker25000 for sending me some themed advanced launcher and lockscreen .zips as well as making a custom lockscreen for my theme =) this update came way faster thanks to him. Also, thanks to stericson for the great lockscreen, and irrenhaus for the advanced launcher. And thanks to djengizz/pershoot for the Droid themed lockscreen Now with this update I've decided to change things up a bit. I completely removed the map navigation update from the theme. Now the normal version contains stericson's lockscreen and the advanced launcher. The lite version comes with the default lockscreen and launcher. I will add separate updates for each item so you can customize it to your preferences

Geez what's your problem. I changed the dialer as well, I'm just having problems with screenshots at the moment. The whole point of this was to not change very much though, because I like the default color scheme. If that's not ok with you then fine. Just try to be a bit nicer about it.
Edit: Also, brandenk has a "light" ROM that's only 4mb like my lite version, he only edited the framework-res and launcher. so why don't you go flame him while you're at it?

nav is a bit tricky to get to work, that's why I posted a lite version lol. but if it doesn't work then you should probably follow the steps in one of the threads about it. basically, try wiping the data from "manage apps" in setting, and also try uninstalling and reinstalling google voice (or just installing if you haven't before). Also, after all of that REBOOT! if none of that works, then you may need to wipe the map data manually via command line and reinstall the maps.apk. All of the information you need can be found here and here

Thanks Yeah, I have plans to make the notification panel more transparent. The thing that kills me are those dang .9.png's. I can never edit them =( I know there's a tut, but it's still really hard. I won't know any sort of java for like a year

Hey I'm armoredraven. I've been a G1 owner for almost a year now and have been part of the XDA scene for some time, so I've gained some experience with this. I have modified a few themes for myself before, but haven't decided to create and release my own until now.
I've started creating my first theme, |Continuum, and need some input before any release. I would appreciate it if you guys could go over the screenshots and give me some ideas or recommendations on how to fix or theme or make it better.
I'm currently using Cyanogen 4.2.9.1, but will be updating soon. I'll probably update this theme for CyanogenMod roms, but if someone wants to port it elsewhere, they can contact me later...
I could actually release a beta version, but I haven't really bug checked anything (although I haven't gotten a single force closure yet). Maybe I'll get two or three beta testers, so if you would like to do this, either post or PM me.
And please, don't steal my images without asking... Unlike a few other themes out there, I actually drew all of my files out in photoshop rather than just copying and editing preexisting ones. I'd gladly share, just ask first

WOW. I would say more, but my jaw is stuck on the floor. It looks absolutely amazing and from your todo list I can't see anything else that needs to be said. The only thing that I see from the screen is maybe changing the carrier name to a more visible color, but that is all. Your search widget looks stunning.

I think it's part of the theme, but your app drawer doesnt have titles for your apps... must for me sorry man... it would be fine for most apps, but there are a few that have random pics for icons, and i have to have the title to know what it is... but so far the BEST theme ive seen on here

its an option with the advanced launcher to remove the titles on the homescreen and another option to remove them in the app drawer. its up to the user whether or not it is done.

Yeah. I actually changed back now, because I was having trouble finding all my apps
Anywho... I made a couple changes:
-Fixed network provider text color
-Finished all framework-res status icons (I hand drew each in Photoshop to be all white)
-Added another outer circle to the analog clock opposite the minute hand one (solely for artistic effect)
-Shifted the "google" text in the search widget about 4 pixels to the right

Why dont you just download a Clean Template for Metamorph, and make it that way....
Anyway, this theme looks amazing, really sofisticated/modern, nice...

If you replace the normal launcher with the advanced launcher instead of including both you can use bettercut with it . If you include both then bettercut wont work with advanced launcher that's why I substitute it in all my themes... I'm an icon freak lol.

I really like both of those, #7 especially but minus the blue. I'll see what I can do, this may take a bit longer as there are a lot more apps involved such as the dialer but I'll take a look tonight for you!

This is beautiful, is there any way i could have this without the font change? If you don't want to make another version, how can I modify it myself to remove the font? Can I just unzip it and remove the fonts folder and zip it again?

You can do exactly that, just delete the fonts folder from inside the zip, just don't unzip it as you could run into problems from it.

I applied this theme over my existing theme (Emotionless Beast) but the lock screen stayed the TouchWiz version. How do I get that custom vanilla lock screen?
Edit: never mind, I realized that this theme just modifies the lock screen, it doesn't install the vanilla one. I flashed the vanilla lock screen, then flashed the theme again and all is good

Thank you very much, I'm going to be doing an update tonight to v0.2 including some new app icons. I also am going to fix the date text on the status bar and get rid of that weird box behind it. I'm posting a new screen shot so take a look

Awesome, also, if I want to modify the status bar color, do I just change the statusbar_background.9.png in framework-res.apk? Aaaannd do I need to sign the apk file after I change it?

Lol correct. But you need to know how to edit .9.png's, there are guides on XDA just do a search ^. And no, you won't need to resign if you just delete the file in the .zip and then replace it with your edited copy. Make sure it isn't being compressed though.

i like it! only thing i dont like and its just my opinion, is the box icons in the notification bar. but it isnt a deal breaker because i hide my bar all the time. soo that being said. i love black and red.
you should try a white and red or white and blue theme!

I love your work also man, especially the Black Alien theme. But I also would love to see some different style in the notification bar other than the box icons as well. Your themes always look amazing on my phone. This theme looks pretty bad ass as always. Thanks again for all of your hard work. And thanks for all of the quick responses and help you always give when someone has questions. You were a big help to me about a month ago, and I really appreciate you helping me out.

The notifications icons are still what I need to work on. Have completed a set of silver & white for the Black Alien. Now just to get the red done for this theme.

Thats cool. I just like seeing different looking things up in the notification bar. That's just my opinion, other people might like the box looking icons. I loved them with the Black Alien theme you made. You all probably don't have lots of options with these Epics anyway like you do the other phones. I like the notifications bars like are in Emotionless Beast(MysteryEmotionz) and the Superhero Roms(by earthbound) has some pretty cool looking icons I think. But don't change your work just because my opinion, I have learned a little bit about flashing some things from one theme and adding others from another. So I'll definitely use this theme no matter what you do. Thanks

thanks i was work on it last night to get the pulldown notification background transparent white. man it was difficult.
alot has changed since 2.2 themeing.

Ya know...everyone has different preferences for themes and such....I personally like a clean theme...no crazy animations and such....but this seems perfect to me right now....u know what I am absolutely during for....may have to ask Jay^^^^^^ nicely for this one....is a minimalistic status bar icons....that would be awesome...haven't had the time to look into "knowledge's" guide....

hey NATE.....u asked for suggestions and i got ONE for ya....not sure if its possible right now, but is there a way to intergrate THEMED TABS for the lockscreen?>.......basically what THYRUS did with his theme, and when u had the STOCK GINGER lockscreen enabled the tabs we're themed.....just a thought....like i said im not sure if u can put that in there, but that would set off the whole theme...but thats my thought...anyway carry on LOL.....thanks bro

Ahh see I like the whole Drake black and green aspectas of a theme...but we got matted greens theme which seems its going to be just that...ill tell ya what...its 5am and off the top of my head I can't think of anything for the lockscreen right now.....lata on imma think a bit more about it....
