what is the best kernel to run on dark knight. i have tried glitch but it does not like it any suggestions?
Sent from my SGH-I897 using XDA Premium App
I don't think there is any. Dark Knight is based on 4.0.4. Glitch is based on 4.0.3. Keep in mind "best" threads aren't allowed, but this isn't a best
ok, i have seen others running glitch jc on how they did it

The latest Glitch works with it now! And just give it time before you go saying ohh it sucks cuz the battery life is bad. you probably didn't calibrate the battery...
ok good to know, and ty for the heads up on three battery

I am running DK3 with the latest test version that isn't public yet and it is great
my problem is signal after i flash dk3 i have none where i usually have five bars. i have flashed a number of modems and the most it will give me is three bars. as don as i flash back to dk2 i get five bars so i don't know if I'm doing something wrong or just the area I'm in.

That was an RIL problem, you never really had 5 bars... It has been fixed to show your real signal strength now...
ok that's good to know, thank you for all your input and if your looking for a Beta test for dk4 let me know

Are you giving out the beta4 for Dark Knight link. You can get removed from his team right now if you do that. That is to be kept secret which is why the link wasn't posted!!!!

Hey, I was running dk3. Glitchv14 worked great. Now that dk4 was released that kernel seems to get stuck at boot up. And with the kernel that it originally comes with is really slow at boot up. So as suggested flashed semaphore ics 0.9.7c it has good boot up times, but the GPS doesn't work. Same with platypus kernel.

Goto settings and about there you can see baseband.
No I'm looking for whether my phone is running on 850mHz or 1900mHz. I'm really just being hopeful that I missed seeing an app or new phone code or development that would make the bands accessible. This is one part of ICS I definitely don't like.

Download cpu spy from market.
I'm actually referring to the baseband or modem frequency thanks though.
